We visited Giordano's on 82nd for the first time. We sat in the bar area. It was a smaller restaurant than what we thought. However, they have an outdoor seating area. We ordered the Italiano entrée salad for $13.45. We asked for no olives, and it was made exactly as we ordered. The salad had a lot of meat ingredients. The lettuce was chopped iceberg. The salad was good, but not outstanding. We like the antipasto salad at Buca di Beppo. Giordano's salad did not come close. It was blander, in our opinion, but we did love the amount of ingredients. We also ordered a small build your own tavern style pizza. The base cost of the pizza is $12.75. It was $3.15 for each protein ingredient. We ordered pepperoni and sausage. The pizza was fabulous! We liked thin, cracker crumb, crust pizza in this met the mark. The pepperoni was crisp just how we like it. The sausage was in larger chunks and very flavorful. We were surprised at how well we liked the Tavern style pizza. If you do not prefer deep dish pizza, the Tavern style is the way to go! Our server, Pamela, was nice and friendly. She was attentive and kept our water glasses filled. She also checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. She was knowledgeable about the menu. Our bill was accurate. Our food was served quickly and was hot and fresh. We have been to the shopping center where Giordano's is located many times. We have come to Harry & Izzy's, L.L. Bean, and the Container Store. On hindsight, I'm surprised we have never been to Giordano's. Now that we have, we will definitely return.

    Giordano's Sampler

Giordano's was a solid stop for deep dish. We ordered The Special deep dish in a small, and it was pretty good. Not quite on the level of Lou Malnati's, but since they are gone from Indy, this feels like a good replacement. We also got the Giordano's Sampler, which was great overall. The bruschetta was a bit overcooked, but our waitress offered to replace it, which we appreciated but didn't feel the need to. The pizza was very filling, and we ended up taking more than half of it home. Timing was perfect too since it came out right after we finished the appetizers. Service was smooth from start to finish. Our waiter was friendly and quick, and we never had to wait around, even when it came time to get the bill. The space itself felt comfortable, open, and clean. Overall, a good experience and a solid option if you are craving deep dish.

White Sauce Deep Dish Pizza with Chicken & Artichokes

Came here on a visit to Indiana and was very surprised that they had a Giordano's location. Husband and I were looking for some quick dinner that wouldn't be too long far from our hotel and this was perfect for a night pickup order. Called and placed an order over the phone and they were really kind enough to make a Custom White Sauce Deep Dish Pizza because I had a bit of an aversion to the classic red sauce. Asked for some Chicken and Artichokes and other vegetables on there and this pizza turned out unbelievably good! It was a really big pizza even though we got the small size. Good amount of sauce and the vegetables and the protein. It was enough for two meals for 2 people! Really good deheating leftovers 2 days later as well. I was also said hot and smells beautiful even before opening the box.

A friend and I stopped in for lunch before shopping, it was perfect timing - it was pretty empty but luckily our food wait was short. Our server, Tasha, was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of!

    Parmesan Crusted Cheese Pizza 7.2/10

Rating: (4.2/5) Giordano's never disappoints! We tried the parmesan crusted Margherita pan pizza this time, and it was very good--highly recommend giving the pan pizza a try if you're used to the deep dish. We're longtime fans of their deep dish, but switching it up was a great choice. The salads are always solid and well worth the price, and the triangle mozzarella is a home run every time crispy, cheesy perfection. Only small drawback: we wish there were more beers on draft to choose from. That would definitely elevate the experience even more. Still, we love coming back here every time we're in town. A reliable go-to for great food and a casual, welcoming vibe!

    Pepperoni "pizza"

I am not sure what I took pictures of, but it was not pizza. I have known pizza to include sauce and toppings. It seems that we missed the memo on putting sauce on the pizza. I wouldn't normally complain about one mistake, but this is the second time this week we got a pizza from Giordano's with no sauce. If you look at the cover photo for this restaurant, you may notice what a stuffed pizza is. The picture below was a dystopian parallel universe interpretation of a "stuffed pizza". Sadly, it also took three hours for me to receive this "pizza". At least the "pizza" was shockingly both cold and burnt to a crisp in addition to being three hours late. I hope the deity to which this burnt offering was presented will look kindly on my family. The salad was ok.

Came here due to it stating dogs were welcome on the patio .. came in and waited at the host desk for about 3 minutes (was not busy at all) and asked if we could sit on the patio due to us having our dogs and was told no that they don't allow dogs on patio .. so ordered take out.. waited outside and when it was time to come in no one was in sight again but the cook noticed me and helped me and was so nice and welcoming. Pizza was decent, wish we could have ate it there to get that nice fresh from the oven experience.

    Chopped chicken salad
    Gabriella W.

The chicken chopped salad hits the spot with a delicious vinaigrette that isn't overpowering. If you come in for pizza expect at least twenty minutes for a personal pie to be cooked and 45 minutes for a regular or large size pie!! The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The host however wasn't very helpful. Overall, it's a great place to come with the family.

The interior is bright and fun. They're in the strip mall at 86th with the Noral Target, so there was plenty of parking. We each ordered separately, but they nicely put our order on the same overall table ticket so that it was delivered at roughly the same time. I hadn't been here before, and was excited to try it. You order at the front counter then they bring it to our table. The menu can be a little daunting if you aren't sure what you want. I chose a chicken enchilada bowl, but was then told they were out of cheese. Nothing else was jumping out at me, so I just ordered the avocado toast. (see pics) Our food came fairly quickly. I will say, my coworkers' dishes looked good. I was pretty disappointed with my avocado toast. For $9, it was a sinlgle slice of bread, only very lightly toasted. The jammy egg was maybe 1 hard boiled egg, chopped up on top, and it was cold. It did have shredded cheese over it (not sure why that couldn't have been used in my enchilada bowl?) . It also tased like it had a lot of "everything bagel" spices on it, and was overall fairly salty. So it was a little disappoining. And I left hungry. But I wasn't in the mood to order anything else. My coworkers had sweet potato fries (I tried some - really good!), and different bowls that looked good, so I would give them another try sometime, but the avocado toast did not live up to expectations. #ReviewsByRL

We selected Doc B's and it was our first time here. Normally, we would be at one our favorite restaurants across the parking lot, Seasons 52. I'm so happy we tried Doc B's. It was absolutely amazing on every single facet of being a great eatery. The facility is inviting and fits a business casual lunch crowd and would also be most appropriate for a date night or special gathering. Friendly and prompt service starts at the hostess stand and just builds from that point. Our server, Sam (Samantha) was one of the most professional and attentive server we have experienced in some time. It takes a great management team to mold a staff to be exceptional. And to our surprise the General Manager, John served us our entrees at the table. But later checked in with us to evaluate our experience; which is unheard of these days. John and Samantha impressed us so very much, that Doc B's will now become a regular destination. Oh yes, I should comment on our food and cocktails. TOP NOTCH!! My wife had a carnitas sandwich with slow roasted pork, coleslaw, a pickle spear and thick onion ring with amazing barbecue sauce. It was served with the best tasting side I have ever put in my mouth. You must see what they do with a smashed baby Yukon potato with special breading and deep fried. I had the famous Wok Bowl with shrimp and lo mein noodles and sweet and spicy Thai sauce. It is packed with the freshest vegetables and sprinkled with cashews. I was blown away with the quantity of shrimp in that bowl. They do not skimp on the protein. I enjoyed this dish so very much and can truly say it isnt just a stir fry entree. During that entire time, no one had even taken our entrée order. Our server was pleasant, but she wasn't very present. We found ourselves constantly looking around for her, but she was nowhere to be found when we needed something. She brought me a glass of water without ice, so I had to ask for it. Thankfully, they have the good nugget ice, so that was definitely a win. One thing that really stood out was the food delivery. Normally, restaurants use seat numbers so the food runner knows exactly where each dish belongs. Instead, they just placed plates wherever there was space. It was odd. Maybe it was because we were seated at a round table? I ordered the wings with a side of broccoli. The wings were decent--good enough, but nothing I'd go out of my way to order again. The broccoli was cooked perfectly, but unfortunately it wasn't warm. I also asked for hot habanero sauce and a side of garlic butter. The habanero sauce was disappointingly watery, and the garlic butter arrived cold. Why not melt the butter before bringing it to the table? The entire experience left me scratching my head. That said, I'll definitely give them another chance because this really felt like an off night. I still want to try the candied bacon, and I'm almost certain I spotted a hot fudge sundae making its way to another table--even though I didn't see it anywhere on the menu! Wish me luck!

For $5 you can enjoy three different coffee flavors and even take a cup to go, which is a great deal for coffee lovers. We also learned that many of their pastries and treats are made fresh every morning, which explains the quality. Parking is easy with plenty of free spaces available, making the visit even more convenient. The biscuits and gravy will probably be something I order next time because it was so good. When I read they season their sausage in-house I knew I had to try it even though I wanted the Benedict. The Norwegian Potato Cake was a delight! I love every take on a potato pancake or latke and this one had great flavor. The Lefse was a perfect treat to end- I had the traditional with just butter, sugar, and cinnamon. (I had leftovers of this and ate it at home with extra butter and a little syrup also.) This place is a gem and I am so glad I stumbled upon it!

I did like Ruth's and service was good and pleasant . Flavor of food was very good. The serving…read moresize was smaller than I anticipated but in the end it was all I wanted and I was fully satisfied. I started with a cappuccino which was excellent. Large mug, excellent froth and the coffee was rich and bold ! I ordered the half order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs on top. I enjoyed the food, flavor and richness of the gravy. The gravy was stocked with sausage crumbles which added the full flavor. The eggs were fried a tad harder than I desire but they were tasty and topped the meal well. The price was more expensive than I anticipated but not crazy. Ruth's is a little of a distance for me which is how I base my final rating. I liked it and will go again if I am in the area during their hours of operation. But I would not pass some equally good cafes closer to me. If you are in the keystone area I recommend you stop
