2 for effort and kind service. But is not Parmesan cheese! Is mozzarella! Why? They should definitely advertise it as what they serve. The least explain that there's no parm.

As a Local business owner, i called for Large Pie to be delivered for the staff, this how it arrived & they claimed it didn't fall during delivery.

Minus one star for the cheesy garlic bread which is not that good.

An authentic Italian gem on Arthur Avenue…read more Zero Otto Nove was recommended to us by the owner of Titles Brothers, where I regularly go to buy Italian cold cuts and cheeses. It turned out to be one of the best recommendations we've received. My mom, my daughter, and I absolutely loved our experience. The food was outstanding, the wine was excellent, and every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but the staff welcomed us with a smile and never made us feel rushed. Instead, they took the time to recommend some of their favorite dishes, and every suggestion was delicious. What made the evening even more special was how kind and attentive they were to my daughter. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel truly welcome. If you're visiting Arthur Avenue and looking for authentic Italian cuisine with outstanding service, Zero Otto Nove is a restaurant I highly recommend. Great food, excellent wine, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. We'll definitely be coming back!

We started with the Patate Salsiccia e Provola, and I immediately understood why Italians talk with their hands my mouth was too busy eating to say anything. Crispy potatoes, savory sausage, and gooey provola cheese... comfort food at its finest. For my main course, I had the Pollo Capriccio with a glass of red wine. The chicken was so tender I barely needed a knife, and the wine had me looking around for a Vespa to ride back to the Bronx. The service was fantastic friendly, attentive, and patient enough to let me butcher every Italian word on the menu without judging me. At least not out loud. If this isn't what Italy feels like, don't tell me. I'm happy living in this delicious fantasy. Now excuse me while I search for affordable flights to Rome... or just uback to Arthur Avenue.

The weather was great, so you could choose to sit inside or out; we chose indoors. Even though our waitress was busy, she was still attentive and friendly. We had sangria, which was really good, and the $$ Italian dishes we ordered hit the spot. The restaurant itself had a nice vibe, clean, nicely decorated, and had a good energy. The staff were welcoming and the bar area seemed pretty popular. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

Adorable cozy light up front entrance, host/waiter greeted us by the front door and seated us right away. We tried the brussel sprouts (can't remember the name on the menu) aw man it was delicious! It had so much flavor and the perfect amount of crunch without it tasting burnt. We also had the baked clams, sadly that had zero flavor. I even dipped it into the sauce and yeah that didn't help much at all. I've had better. Now the GNOCCHI was interesting since it was in red sauce rather than the typical pesto cheesy sauce. I'm not too sure if it goes well together? I had a few pieces and the texture was great but I felt like I needed that cheesy flavor? Might just be my taste buds searching for something similar. Which btw my portion was half of the dish. Our waiter was nice enough to split the dish into 2 portions. That was def appreciated as many don't do that. Dude.. the creme brûlée?! I could have licked the plate clean! Def not my style but I was tempted! Haha it wasn't crazy sweet which is nice since you don't feel a cavity waiting to happen? It's a must try! Super curious about the other dishes. Highly recommend giving this spot a try! Btw there's a full bar so cheers!

We had the Polpettine Di Casa for our appetizer, the meatballs were delicious. My husband had the Pollo Martini and I had Vitello Alla Caruso. They were both so tasty. The warm bread was soft, fresh, and nicely herby with what tasted like oregano sprinkled on top. Portions were satisfying, flavors were rich without feeling too heavy, and the quality really stood out. We ordered sparkling water and a couple of cocktails. For appetizers we had the Polpettine Di Casa (homemade beef meatballs in pomodoro sauce) and the Portuguese octopus with fava beans, cannellini beans, onions, and apple vinegar dressing. Both were flavorful and well prepared. For entrées we ordered the Pappardelle alla Bolognese with homemade pasta and meat sauce, along with the New Zealand lamb chops over broccoli rabe and mashed potatoes. The pasta tasted fresh and authentic, and the lamb was tender and cooked as requested. Unfortunately, the night ended on a disappointing note because of the service. Mario was pleasant, but another server, I believe named Alex, overheard a conversation and became argumentative and sarcastic toward the birthday woman's son. It felt very unprofessional for the setting and completely changed the mood of the dinner, causing everyone to leave earlier than planned. The 93yr old woman was shaking. People should stay in their lane. Sadly, because of that interaction, I wouldn't return.

All aspects of this visit were spot on: Kind and caring service, excellent food quality, and good value. The pacing of the dinner was also right on- not too fast, not too slow- just right. Dinner starts with a green salad with house dressing and a selection of Italian breads. This is old school Italian service which seems to be going away. as many restaurants regrettably skip on the bread delivery these days. Everyone enjoyed their entrees- Chicken parm, Shrimp Parm, Penne Ala Vodka, Grilled chicken with Broccoli Rabe and the house specialty- shrimp and veal Fratelli- one of the better entrees I have had in a long while. The potato croquettes were a great accompaniment for this dish to enjoy the sauce/gravy. Dessert included perhaps the largest selection ever (a positive) was available along with pictures. The Italian cheesecake was also large and excellent. Hot expresso with anisette was served. The service team here is well trained and on their toes. I can't believe that I didn't know of this place sooner- a true neighborhood gem. They also seemed to be doing a robust take away business... The leadership team from the restaurant stopped by for hello as well. A case study in restaurant hospitality.
