I have been going to Giuseppe's since it was just a pizza place without the fancy dining room and what not. I have never actually eaten there, but it's great for takeout. Their pizza is decent, I could take it or leave it, but their kabobs and middle eastern/persian food is the reason to come here. The chicken or file mignon kabobs are the best with a side of yogurt sauce. I don't know the official names offhand but the menu has descriptions. The veggie kabob is so-so, but the others are definitely worth a trip here. It's been awhile since I've had one, but they used to make a pretty good italian sandwich too. read more

The restaurant is such a random mix of deliciousness. We stumbled across the place as we were driving by, and starving. My hubby and I ate some sort of recommended persian dish, and our son ordered spaghetti. (Persian/Italian restaurant?) I'm not a huge fan, personally, of the beef options they offer, but the chicken kabob was amazing!! The yogurt appetizer was also very delicious. Great food with large portions. This is the second time I have been here and each visit has been delightful. On our first visit, my wife ordered Persian and I ordered Italian. If you love Persian food this is the best in the area. Basmati rice is always on point. Veggie soup is tasty and nutritious while the salads are fresh. Italian food is really good too-especially the Pizza. Kubideh Kabob is a great deal, while the Barg Chelo is delish. Try the garlic-yogurt dip as well-I love garlic so I can slurp that up. I've been coming to this restaurant with my family since i was a teenager (Im in my early 20s now) and no matter where we go, we always come back to this restaurant. I love how everything is made fresh and not tasting like it came from the freezer section at the grocery store. Even one of the owners explained to us how they take pride in fresh ingredients! I can so taste the difference here, after all it is family owned so it's expected to have a unique taste compared to franchise-owned restaurants...Also have to add that italian/middle eastern food is my favorite, so this place for sure hits the spot 100%, unlike olive garden.....Ive never left disappointed. Wish this place was not as secluded, but i guess it is a hidden gem after all. ;) deserves more than 5 stars and more recognition!!!! read more

I have eaten at Giuseppe's for a decade, their food is always delicious. My favorite is the Chicken Kabob Plate, it comes with marinated grilled chicken breast, jasmine rice, a grilled tomato and pita bread. You can add the vegetable soup for $1 - also delicious. This place is NOT what it used to be. Our food was average at best. The service both on the phone and in person was terrible. They act like you are inconveniencing them by placing a to-go order. This is a hidden gem at he top of Euclid...great atmosphere..casual nice...the food is fantastic...mostly home made. We had the yogurt cucumber and home made lavash bread wow..very tasty. Decided to try this restaurant after a few people highly recommended it. I see why it came with high reviews. The food is amazing! I got the chicken soltani and the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. The beef/lamb kebab was so juicy and tender. The rice..... Oh the rice, was the fluffiest, most delicious rice ever. This Italian/Persian eatery is a tucked away place up at the top of Euclid. I've driven by here many times and have never seen it! Came here for the Persian food and it was very good. I had beef kabobs - very tender and flavorful. The service was good and friendly although maybe be a little slow. I'd love to return and try more of the Persian dishes. read more

The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is their service can be spotty. Well the drive to this place is very pretty. It's one a street where all the houses are older, high end houses. The restaurant was nice. I came for Persian food, but it also serves Italian food. The pricing is around $15-23 a plate. I had the chicken shish kebab and hummus. The dining around was full, so I decided to sit on the patio. I brought my dog with me and he enjoyed some chicken too. a small treasure in northern upland. ive had my share of persian food, and this is one my favorite places to eat it. i love their koobideh plate. the koobideh is so tender and juicy. their rice is maybe a little too buttery- but i love it that way. i also love their gheyme which they serve over more rice! when im trying to eat a little lighter i get their salad (garden or antipasta) and they are both really good. their italian dressing is tasty. ive also had their chicken kabobs which arent bad. the only negative thing i can say about this place is that the service isnt that great not only are they not very friendly or personable (except for the one older guy who isnt always there) but they can are very slow even when they dont have many diners in the restaurant and more so if there are alot. the food definitely keeps me coming back. and alot of the time i get it to go which works out nice for me. ive never tried there italian food, other rhan the antipasto salad. they also aerve sandwiches, and ive heard they are good. read more
