Nothing personal against any of the staff members that I dealt with this last weekend or anything, this is purely a managerial issue. 1. Obviously you guys are under pressure to sell, which is understandable, you have quotas and stock that has to move. Don't let that pressure translate over to your customers to "buy immediately or you'll regret it" as I don't need you to tell me what to do and when to do it. The customer has a right to shop and negotiate. Not all customers are clueless on your system. 2. Educate your sales guys because i want to learn about what i'm interested in, not be teaching them about the vehicles that they're selling. Regardless, the demeanor of your salesguy was very polite and friendly. He gets the stars above. read more

Purchased a certified pre-owned Sonic from the dealership in the Spring of '13. This review is primarily for the SERVICE Center as I usually despise the whole car buying process and a review of that would not be a fair one. I usually hesitate to take my vehicles into the dealer (even if under warranty) as I feel they'll always look to find SOMETHING wrong with the vehicle to try and get some $$$ out of me. However, I went in to get an oil change, tire rotation, vehicle inspection -- and also address a couple of minor issues I was experiencing. The service techs, were very helpful and even made me aware of a minor recall issue for my car that they would take care of while I was there. They took care of all of my issues, gave me a shuttle ride back to work, and had my vehicle washed and ready by the end of the same day. All for FREE. (Well, other than my monthly car payment) Not bad. read more

Great car buying experience. Came in to check out a vehicle that I had already received a quote on from a local dealer, however; the local dealer wouldn't transfer the vehicle until financing was done. Coming from Dodge trucks... we at least wanted to test drive the vehicle first. Arrived at the dealership and we met with Liz. She was friendly, honest and very informative. Went over all the features with us, did the test drive and ultimately talked about the offer we had already received. She was able to beat their pricing and we ended up taking the vehicle home that evening. Adrian in finance was also great - honest, straight forward and went through everything in the contract with us. Both he and Liz had to stay late to get the deal done... but they were both polite and didn't try to rush anything. Post-purchase... Liz has followed up with us and made sure we were happy with our purchase. Great customer service and again, a great buying experience. I've gone back numerous times for the same reason and it was always the same answer. They do not care about their customers nor the problems that go on with their vehicles. They take advantage of women and feel that women don't know what they are talking about but when a man steps in they know exactly what to do and what to get done. Caveat Emptor (buyer beware). I bought a used car (a 2009 Fit) herein early April 2016 because it had low miles. I looked closely at the paint, noticed some dings and some chips, but I didn't see any fading. Two weeks after I purchased it, I noticed the paint on the door frame on the driver's side was faded. I washed it, and when I dried it, I noticed blue residue on my drying cloth. I took it in about a month later. The used car manager said Hondas have issues with paint fading, and that all Glendora Chevrolet did before selling the car was wash and wax it. They didn't do anything about the fading paint issue. I took it to a car collision repair shop; they said it would be about $4000 minimum to paint it correctly. I'm never doing business with this dealership again. read more

STAY AWAY! Had the worst car buying experience of my life here. I drove nearly 2 hours to test drive a car that was ready for me. I arrived and was greeted by Douglas S. Prior to my arrival, he sent a short video of the vehicle and assured me that the car would be ready in front of the building when I arrive. Upon arrival the vehicle was parked in front of the building with my name on it which was a nice added touch. However, upon arrival I asked for Douglas and he was busy. So I waited outside for a few minutes to check out the car. After about 10 minutes or so Douglas walked out and introduced me to young lady. He said she's going to help you. I was confused because I had spoke to him and made the appointment with him. He shortly left with his lunch bag and went home! This was the first of many red flags I got. I spoke with the young lady and told her that I was very interested in trading in my car and wanted to take this one on a test drive. She grabbed my license and keys and we hopped in to the car. In the corner of my eye I could see a couple looking at the vehicle and saying to their sales person "could we get this one for the same price as the white one?" The sales person said let me talk to my manager sure I could do that deal. He got on the his cell phone and we left on our test drive. I wasn't worried because it is a first-come-first-serve business and I was there first. I just figured that someone would tell them that the car is being test-drove by someone else. Therefore just disregarded it. When we got back from the test drive we went inside and the young woman sat me down at the desk and asked for my car registration, car keys, and went outside to do an evaluation. I followed her outside and spoke to her as she was evaluated my vehicle. She took all my information down and went back inside. She kept disappearing off and on over the next hour. I didn't think it was a big deal since I know salespeople tend to work several deals at once or perhaps I thought maybe she needed more information from her manager regarding my trade-in. I noticed that the red truck was gone when I went over to look at it again, it had mysteriously disappeared. At this point, I had been at the dealership for nearly 1 and half hours. I went back outside again to try to look for the truck about 15 minutes later and I didn't see it. That's when I got a sinking feeling in my stomach. So I walked over to the salesperson that I had heard prior to my test drive and asked him, "where's the red truck?" The sales person responded "oh it's sold! I was confused because I was sitting there the whole time and just test drove it. So I asked for my sales person, which at the time had been gone for 30 minutes. They said she wasn't available so I asked for the manager. He came out and I asked him, "where is the truck?" He he said, "it's sold." I said "when were you going to tell me?" He then said, "well I'm telling you now!" They had sold the car right under me and had me sitting there as a backup as a work the other deal. I asked for my sales lady and they said they she went outside to try to find you something else. Needless to say I left. I contacted Douglas and told him what happened. Despite all this I was willing to still give them an opportunity as long as I can work with Douglas together and get a competitive deal on my second choice vehicle. Bad idea. He sent me some figures on the trade, however, never followed up about the purchase price of another truck. I will be purchasing my truck from Keyes of Van Nuys tomorrow. They handled the whole situation very unprofessionally. They left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Do yourself a favor and just stay away from this place. I read some of the negative Yelp reviews and thought maybe perhaps people were exaggerating. They are not! read more

She really went the extra mile to help schedule the service and even had the truck washed as well. This is a double edged sword. The Good and the Bad I have to say that the people (Alex Arce and others) in the Service Dept. were very courteous and helpful. However, the issue I have is that a radio on a 2 1/2 year old car (Chev. Cruze) needed to be replaced ($250.00). I have owned many, many cars and I have never had to replace a radio, period! Obviously, it was a defective part. I don't know if Glendora Chevrolet could or can do anything about this issue, however this is the 3rd car I have purchased at Glendora and am looking for a Tahoe currently. This dealership pulled a bait and switch on me. Called this dealership up and got a firm offer written in Black and White. Lease payment and terms are all written in black and white before I came in. When I got in, they took all my info and credit check then used an excuse not to honor the deal. If they can not honor a deal, why waste my time? This dealership doesn't have any integrity when it comes to doing business. 15k miles was written in black and white and they said they can not confirm that the offer was for 15k and asks for more monthly payment. We happened to find a listing online for a Camaro at Glendora Chevrolet and figured we'd give it a shot. Michael Roach showed us the car and took us for a test drive before offering to work on our finance options. He worked with us for hours until we got our payment and financing to a point where we were comfortable and purchased the car. Michael is very professional and PATIENT. East in the financing department is also great- he helped us smooth out some wrinkles in our deal. I will definitely refer family and friends to this dealership. I purchased my corvette at Glendora Chevrolet. I love the car but was very disappointed with their service. Dorian was great when I dealt with him for my oil change. The last time, yes the last time--they charge me for checking my brakes but unable to fix it. They said the brakes need oiling to prevent the squeking--but they did not have the oil. I went to another Chevrolet dealership, the service mgr. said they can oil the brakes but this will not solve my problem due to the type of brakes corvette use to enable it to effectively stop at high speed. I looked it up in corvette forums and the second dealer was right. Glendora was there to make the sale ($80,000+) but can't service my corvette. I am happy with the car and will continue to buy a corvette---but will never buy from Glendora Chevrolet. Buyer beware! read more

I purchased a truck here cash in June 2018 because I live in Glendora ( otherwise I would have purchased from either Cerritos or Mark Christopher) this sales manager kept trying to force me to give my social security number even going so far as to telling me that the NSA must make sure that I'm not a terrorist! I went to bankrate to check his assertion and showed him their article about how dealerships use that like lie to get your social security number to check see if they can provide a loan which they profit from by kickback bonuses. Beyond that their service department is lacking enthusiasm, or caring they are just picking up a paycheck. I will never purchase any other vehicles at this dealership. read more

My first impression of this place would warrant a 1-star rating. After a pleasant test drive, the "floor manager" Danny, came out to hit me with numbers. He wouldn't explain anything or answer any of my questions. He incessantly talked circles around me, punctuating every statement with "ya know what I'm sayin'?" After repeated requests to see the price breakdown, I discovered that he was trying to scam me with insurance, a few warranties, and a satellite tracking system that cost an outrageous $1000 for 12 months! I was ready to bolt. Finally, a nice Asian guy came to my rescue and saved a deal that was quickly unraveling. I insisted that all the extras be removed; however, after a thorough explanation, I kept the warranty. Then a few days later, some cookies arrived at my house...a token thank you gift from the dealership. I had read other negative reviews referencing this practice, but nothing could have prepared me for these lousy cookies. Seriously, I drop 60 grand at this place and they give me second-rate baked goods? I realize that vendors must keep their costs low so there's money left over for kickbacks to the managers, but this is downright insulting. read more

Disappointed that I knew more about the redesigned HD trucks than the sales ppl and some high level suit guy who checked on how the sales person was doing. They tried to push the current design on me and basically said the new models don't have that much change and won't change that much from the current one when the whole HD market is going under a redesign by every maker out there. The only silver lining is the person who followed up with me. Andy? He totally knew about the redesign and kept everything real with me as far as when to expect discounts on new models and when they will release.
