0 STARS!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! So I brought my car in for maintenance yesterday and was told it would take about 3 hrs and they ended keeping my car for about 8 hrs and I was never given an update on my car or was told it would take longer. I had to be the one to call the service advisor, which also took me 3 times and over an hour to get ahold of and had to wait another hour to get picked up because they could not find the shuttle driver and they had to find someone else to pick me up. I had to miss work due to the lack of communication and consideration for their customers. When I finally talked to the advisor I was also told I needed new brakes and the estimate would be $523 for the front brakes which is ridiculous and I of course declined for them to work on the brakes. When I talked to the service manager to complain about the lack of communication and having to miss work due to this he in no way tried to fix this or made me feel like he cared about the situation. When I also mentioned the pricing for them to work on my front brakes the service manager said he would match whatever price another mechanic would charge me and when I told him I received an estimate for $160 he then said he could not match that. Why would you say you are going to match the price when you can't??? Just goes to show why the service advisor's customer service is lacking if this is the type of manager they have. Another issue was a discount I was supposed to get since I booked my service via the online application... I was supposed to get a 10% discount but instead got $10 off. I don't know if maybe they thought I wouldn't notice, but I had to go back this morning to get the correct discount and also because they left a loose plastic by my battery and the sensor on one of my tires was reading at 63 psi. So they obviously were rushing when they worked on my car which is unacceptable when you are being charged $755 for an "upgraded" service, which also includes a $400 fee for "labor." Another concern I had was that I was charged for a tire rotation that they DID NOT complete. I know this because I had a nail on one of the back tires and they couldn't complete the tire rotation, yet it was included on my bill. When I inquired about this I was told I was not charged but it was included on the bill because the system "automatically" does this, which I don't even believe and think they are just trying to take advantage of their customers. To top it off it took about an hour to get the discount corrected and for them to fix the tire sensor this morning and I was not told when my car was ready AGAIN. I again had to go ask the advisor whether my car was ready and if they fixed the sensor. Very frustrating and disappointed at the lack of customer service especially when you are paying such high prices for service. I will NOT be coming back to this dealer for service and highly recommend for others to go elsewhere. read more

It was my first-time visiting this dealership. I purchased a used 2014 Chevy Cruze LTZ in January and wanted to check if I needed an oil-change. When I called onStar, they also told me that there was a low coolant leakage recall for my car. Because I have friends who come to Glendora Chevy, I knew that the wait for an oil-change and diagnostic would probably take a good 2-3 hours. My service advisor was Chuck and he was really helpful in explaining the process and also expediting my services. An hour into my visit, Chuck tells me that I am one of the unlucky individuals with a coolant leakage and that I need to get my water pump replaced. You can imagine my surprise. Because it was already 2 pm when I brought my car in, he told me that I might need a rental car for a day. I asked him if there was any way that he could see if the car would be ready by closing time... he was awesome! He went to talk to the mechanics and came back to tell me that the service will be rushed and completed by the end of the business day. The total for my oil-change, tire-rotation, and car wash was $45 and I also had my water-pump replaced. This was all done within a 4 hour time frame. Overall, I am really happy with the level of customer service that I received here. They were helpful in answering all of my questions and making my first-time a comfortable experience. What a horrible experience, it's hard to know where to start. The sales associate Joel I was given was very dry, bland and super awkward. I went in to buy a truck with them knowing where my payments needed to be and there was little wiggle room, I was countered with offers of a payment that were more than $200 of what I said was my max. They refused to work with me and insulted my intelligence. Just because I am a female trying to buy a truck doesn't me I should of received that kind of treatment. I ended up walking out.... First off I can say I have purchased multiple brand new Silverados consecutively a 2007 and a 2014 which I have now that I purchased from Glendora Chevrolet. I've had nothing but problems with this 2014 from having to have a new exhaust put on it to having to rebuild the top end of my engine which Glendora Chevrolet did of course. So now my adventure continues. As you can see in the pictures the barley 4 year old trucks paints peeling ridiculously on the back drivers side door. When taking this back to Glendora Chevrolet they said wow that's awful too bad that's not covered cause it's over it's 3 year 36k miles. I say ok but thankfully I have the extended warranty I purchased from you guys and good thing cause of all the major issues I've had. Oh yea sorry that still not covered under that though... Seriously! I get a truck with all these major issues never had anything like this on any of my other new silverados and it's just written off like that. The service manager explains it's a Chevrolet corporate issue and unfortunately there's a lot of the trucks coming back now to them with the same issue but only in white and silver for some reason. So basically it's a clear known defect for these $40k trucks and too bad. I will never purchase a Chevrolet product again. I'm so offended and it's an absolute disgrace that they charge what they do for these vehicles and not even stand behind the paint for atleast 4 some years with an extended warranty. Horrendous. PROS: The salesman, Sean, was nice. CONS: When I saved the car to my que on CarGurus it was within my price range, however when I contacted the dealer a couple days later the price had increased by $2k. When I called the dealership the internet manager, James, gave me some bs about how the prior price was a general estimate and they had to adjust the price to accommodate for the car's proper value and the time/ money spent on servicing it. Um, I'm sorry, but as a certified dealership don't you assess the cost of repairs and services before you advertise a car? Also, the original price on CarGurus was 9k, THEN dropped to $7.5k, THEN rose to $9.5k (which is $1k over the car's NADA value). Strike one. However, beyond my better judgement, James and I negotiated a price and I went to test drive the car. When we sat down for paperwork I noticed the Carfax showed two previous owners but the car was being advertised as only having one. At first I thought the dealership was the second owner, but according to the car report the second owner had the car for years. A nearby salesman overheard me point this out and said that that Carfax was wrong and that he would go fetch the correct one.. I don't know how the report could have been wrong when that's the one they gave me and the VINs matched... I guess it doesn't matter though because he never returned with the "correct one." He never returned at all. Strike two. My concerns between the car's price and its value were growing, so I reiterated them to the salesman. I re-asked why the car rose by $2k in three days, but this time I was told a completely different answer. They said that it was a mistake on behalf of CarGurus, that CarGurus advertised the car at that price without their approval... whiiiiich is bs. Then the sales manager (I'm assuming that's who he was, he never introduced himself. Average build, a bit older) joined the discussion in the most mannerless way. He kept speaking over me, cutting me off, and and was visibly annoyed. I don't know if that was his version of a 'scare tactic' or what.. I mean, if we disagree on the value of the car that's okay- not everyone is meant to do business together. But the second you become unprofessional and disrespectful, we have a problem. Strike three. I walked out, no deal. Then, 30 mins after I left I realized they never gave me back the registration to my car (which I gave to them to assess my trade in). I have been coming here for years to service my vehicles and have had nothing but great customer service. There was once where some guy thought he was mister know it all but I didn't see him after that, but even after that, I have been extremely happy coming here. However, after today I'm beyond disappointed and quite frankly disgusted with the way they are handling customers. I'm aware of COVID and social distancing measures but are you kidding me? You have to complete a service request on paper yourself, mark what service you want and they will call you after for payment! Wtffff?!?! So if you have any questions, you're screwed. Not to mention the rudeness from the guys who are working the service desk if you try to ask. It's as if you need to know everything before you even get here. No human interaction at all. Forget asking questions bc they seem to think that's too close contact. This place is shameful. To say the least. The one guy who I'm assuming is the runner is trying his best and takes the heat from customers for the others inhumane incompetence. Wow. Just wow. And to think I used to recommend this place for service bc of how great they are. I understand social distancing and other precautions but to completely remove the human interaction is ridiculous. I live in San Dimas. So, going to this dealership was convenient. When I purchased my 2013 Volt, it was sitting in this dealership lot. But they would not negotiate price. I ended up going to Rotolo Chevrolet to purchased the same Volt for hundreds of dollars less. Rotolo had the Volt I wanted transported from Glendora Chevrolet. For the first few years, I had the Volt serviced at Rotolo. In the last year, I started going to Glendora for service. NOT ANYMORE. Last service was for an oil change and tire rotation. When I picked up the Volt, I noticed the tires were not rotated. When I contacted the service manager, he sided with his technician who claimed the tires were rotated. I bought a new 2020 Traverse from Enrique. He was great. He and Abe gave me exactly what I needed it terms of trim, color, and (most important to me)...cost. I'm a cautious person (maybe its in my dna since I'm an engineer) so I kept waiting for some trick or something because I didn't know any of them and I tend not to trust car people in general. I drove in to Glendora because their prices were better than the Chevy dealers near my house and my work. The day after I bought the Traverse, I told everyone at my work to not buy around our area but to drive to Glendora. I literally save a few thousand dollars. I'd also like to say that I spent hours and hours researching cars online and - though there is no perfect option - I really believe Chevy SUV's to be the best product for you money..(and this comes from someone with 20 years practicing engineering). Bought a used 2014 Silverado from this dealer, not even a year later the paint has bubbled and a large area of paint has come off on the passenger side door. Contacted the dealer first and they told me to call GM, called GM and they said the dealer should have had me get an estimate done. So I had an estimate done and provided it to GM which then sent it to the dealer, dealer I'd offering no support and GM said the same. So now I have 35k truck that looks like shit. Not even 10 months after I bought it! Pretty shitty Glendora Chevrolet, I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. We went after we called them about chevy Cruze listed for $13000 When we got there we were surprised with the qualifications that we had to have in order to get that price; from rebate $1500 to something until now we are not clear about; about lease qualifications; also, low jack scam that you have to buy for $1500. in short, the car went to $18000. Despite their nonsense and bogus qualifications, we offered them $16000 out the door and they refused to sell it. The manager said he just works there and has nothing to do with this $5000 bogus additions. The lady we talk to; did not explain anything; she just said yes we have the car. People giving you attitude when you trying to charge your chevy EV. They told me to use the very old charger behind the gate, charging for a whole hour, only 1 mile increase. One mechanic told me "leave your car here for charge at your own risk". The other day, an other mechanic pretending they don't have charging station in the front and telling me to go Walmart to charge. Which I already knew where is it. The financial office is right next to the front charging station, I walked in and tell him, I will be back about 2 hrs, his response is "bring your lunch here next time.", Even a salesman on floor saying you didn't buy from us and you come here to charge? My conclusion is, the employee there doesn't want people to use the charging station, even for chevy, they will say something to make you feel bad, insult you, so I think when they sell the EV, they shouldn't say you can charge at any Chevy's dealer. read more

The service manager Alex was one of the worst advisors I'd ever had there and that's saying a lot! If you do have to go to this scam of a dealership for service make sure to deal with Dorian. He will give you the best chance of at least having a decent experience. Also, don't go anytime after 2 on a Saturday. They will just turn you right back around and not take your car. Went to cashier to find out if truck was ready. she called service dept and they said not yet. I waited 35 min and then went outside and saw my truck parked in middle back lot. I asked service dept if my truck was waiting for a wash. Their eyes got big and sent an employee to get truck and drive to service bay. I said you're kidding me! You haven't changed oil? They brought truck around and I saw it sitting there for 10min, so I went to cashier and ask. Her response was, I don't know! they didn't bring the paperwork. She told me (a customer) you can go ask service dept. lol! So another 15mins goes by and he finally brings paperwork in. Service guy tells me, I didn't have your truck washed because I figure you wanna go. Lol! REALLY DUDE! Biggest mistake taking our car here. The car was making noises and we took it to a dealer in our area then decided maybe we should play it safe and take it to the dealers. Bad idea. They told us it had a lot of miles on it and we should do xy&z. Coming out to 800 dollars. Left there and the noises were still there. They said bring it back Friday and they would see what was going on. Dropped it off Friday at 9 am and about 2pm no call nothing. Finally decided to call spoke to them and the receptionist couldn't even find the car in the system. Then finally they did and said now I needed more work and giving me the best price said about 3000 dollars! So I left with pretty much a glorified oil change and new air filters. Never returning. I've had some bad experiences here and yesterday was the topping on the cake. 6-8-2020 I took my car in for a standard oil change. Was quoted $69.95 for an oil change and tire rotation over the phone. Came in noted it down on the paperwork provided by the advisor window "keep in mind I'm an advisor at Honda so I know the process." Left and received a text update about my vehicle. A couple hours pass by "it's 3:00pm and I dropped my car off at 8:45am" and no update or response to my text. I tried calling multiple times and couldn't get through. So I went in to pick my car up which I stood and waited for 35 minutes just to have someone acknowledge me!!! Robert the service advisor was taking his time helping one customer trying to focus on a CSE scores while three others in line were frustrated and needed to get out. So as I left I noticed my tires were not rotated even though it says it on my paperwork and I paid for the service. This is the last time I'm coming back to this location. I would like to note that I asked Robert what the price was for the standard oil change instead of their special and he told me there isn't another option which is horrible to not offer a cheaper price for only an oil change just so he can receive a higher customer pay number on his check. Treat the customers fairly and gain their trust even with just the smallest service because I guarantee later on they will keep coming back and listen to you and your techs recommendations. read more
