If you value your time or your wallet, stay away. My father brought his Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Kia here before Thanksgiving for a failed turbo (P0299) that put the car in a dangerous 'Limp Mode.' Despite a 100k-mile warranty, this service department tried to deny coverage by claiming minor cosmetic scratches caused an internal engine failure. It took two and a half months, an escalated Kia Corporate case, and threats of an Attorney General complaint before they finally 'granted' a goodwill repair. The kicker: When we finally went to pick up the car, they tried to charge us $2,100 for a battery, a cable, and an oil change. We declined, took it to an independent mechanic, and got the exact same work done for $600. They tried to scalp us for an extra $1,500 on the way out the door. Truly predatory. Do your homework and don't let them bully you. read more

At first, I was excited about the customer service at GoKia. We were in the market for a used kia ev6 and GoKia had a good selection of vehicles for us to choose from. We went down to the dealership and test drove two. We asked the salesman (Hussein) for his opinion on which one we should choose. They were both certified vehicles, so we felt safe with either, since he was the expert, we were eager for his advice and picked the one he selected. We then talked to the sales manager while finalizing the sale, we opted for all the additional warranty and coverage that he suggested, driving the price beyond what we thought we were going to spend, but he assured us it was complete coverage that included both manufacturers defects and other problems with the car. In less than two weeks, the car started to drift significantly on the road and jerk and shake when we were driving at low speeds. I contacted Hussein again and he told me to just take it to any Kia dealer, since it would be covered. The rear sway bar was bent, the tires were nearly bald, the wheels were not balanced correctly. When I asked the other dealer if this could have happened in the short time we owned the car, they said it would have taken a significant episode on the road that we couldn't have missed to have the damage be this significant. The other thing they told us, no warranty would cover it and we were out $2k to make the car work well. I contacted Hussein. He apologized and said he would look into it and get back to me. He never did. I texted him multiple times and he has still never gotten back to me. My wife contacted the sales manager. Same pattern, he apologized and said he would get back to her. He never did. We are out $2k on a car we were told was in great shape and had full coverage. They won't even send us our plates (we are in North Seattle, they promised they would send them to us, but we can't get them to fulfill their promise). It's a real shame. Kia is a great brand and their cars have become special. The good news for Seattle area buyers is that there are other options. I would recommend moving on from GoKia. We and our friends have had much better luck with Chuck Olson Kia. read more

Had a great experience with the sales person, but when it came to finance, they asked us to come back for an appointment. We arrived at the appointment. After 25 min we were told they "got busy" and to come back another day for another appointment. We arrived for the appointment and are STILL WAITING after 50 min have gone by. Public Service Announcement: DO NOT buy a car from this dealership. At least not a used one. I bought a used Subaru car a little over a month ago and although the sale experience was easy and pleasant the follow up since has been simply inexcusable. I purchased a newer used car with relatively low mileage and an extended warranty package. And although slightly over my budget, they worked with me to make it work. Now of course I realize it was just to make the sale. I was told there was a recall on the car but was reassured it was nothing and that they could take care of it or I could take it to a Subaru dealership and it would be an easy fix. I was also told the car was up to date on maintenance, which was another reason I was willing to go over budget since I wouldn't need to do any major maintenance for quite some time. I took a few days to start driving the car as I shopped around for insurance. Once I started driving the car I noticed a burning oil smell and a slight vibration at higher speeds (freeway speeds). Now mind you we didn't test drive on the freeway and stayed at lower speeds so I didn't catch this before the sale. I thought maybe it had something to do with the recall so mentioned it when I made my appointment at Subaru to take care of the recall. Subaru did an inspection for me and found that there was an oil pan leak and in addition a bent wheel and a bulged tire. They also told me that it didn't look like the 60k maintenance had been done so the car would need that in addition. I was told that these were all things that should have been caught ahead of time. I of course called Kia right away and because it was a Sunday was told the service department was closed and would need to call back. I tried explaining I didn't need the service department but was still told to call back. I called back the following day and was told my sales manager was busy and would call me back. After a couple of days with no call I tried again and was told the same thing. Still no call. Four calls later and almost two weeks and still no call despite the multiple messages I've left and even emailed them the inspection report from Subaru. It is extremely frustrating and quite dismissive. After so many attempts to talk to somebody and not even a call back to discuss. At this point after everything is said and done and the amount of additional money I will have to spend to take care of things that should have been disclosed I may as well have bought a new car. In addition I used all my savings to cover the down payment on a car that's going to need another 4k in work which had it been disclosed to me to begin with I wouldn't have bought the car. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement and to add injury to insult I can't even get anyone to acknowledge me or call me back. Bad customer service and unreliable sales info. read more

Wow, i'm really starting to think that i've been cursed.When it comes to this latest car buying experience. What again started out as five star service has ended in an absolute confusing mess where I don't even know which way is up. The only redeeming but not redeeming enough quality for this dealership is a salesman. By the name of mario outside of that, it was seriously again, one of the worst customer service experiences that i've ever had. Unfortunately for me only enough to give them a one.Star review. To what matters only the last few days when I start getting text messages from one of the sales people about a truck that I was initially interested in. And the only problem there is is that a sales manager just a few days ago had texted me and said that the truck was no longer available because they sold it. When I ask the salesperson about this and the conflicting information, they said that. No, that it was available. And they didn't know why I was told that it wasn't, and throughout the whole conversation, they can't confirm that I have this conversation, which I had shown them via screenshot of the text message.Is that we exchanged back and forth?They still told me that I should still come in. As to what I reply that I no longer felt comfortable with the situation.Because it felt like they were trying to bait and switch. Again, a one star review and some of the worst customer experience and service that i've ever had from a company that I didn't even wind up buying anything from is mind blowing. I kind of wish that if they didn't want to help me, they would have just told me that. When I first walked in the door it would have saved me. Salesman was dishonest. I was told I qualified for the 7.5k tax rebate since I was buying my car before the end of September. Turns out when doing my taxes, my car never qualified. I would only return to this location out of desperation. If you need a Kia dealership, make the short drive to the Auburn one. They are wonderful, honest and transparent. The Renton Kia is a circus. Their online scheduling is a joke, but so is trying to call in.. and they Never call you when your parts arrive. Seriously, after dealing with this place for over 5 years (because the rep I dealt with was nice enough) waiting for it to improve and it just got worse, I've moved on. From the very beginning, he was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and understood everything. First off, I have been a fan of Car Pros Renton for over 25 years. I have purchased 6 vehicles from them and purchased one in June of 2025. Unfortunately my experience was the total opposite of what I was used to. The main issue is that they charged me $5000 more than the sticker price of the vehicle ( I did not find this out until we found the window sticker in the glove box on our way home) and added options I did not want such as Lojack. When I asked the sales manager to fix this last summer he promised I would be getting a refund, but that it might take 90 days to show up. I waited and in the fall I called and emailed with no return response. I then found out the dealership had new owners, Go Kia. I reached out to the General Manager, Chad Conton, via letter, email and phone calls and I have yet to have anyone return my call. I love my Kia cars, but will NEVER do business with Go Kia. They don't even have the decency to return my multiple messages, clearly a loyal customer like me is not important to them. They do, however, find time to text me asking if I am ready to buy another Kia. What a shame that the new management would not want to make this right, even when I provided all the back up documentation. I do not think this new company is worth it, folks. I chose Costco to avoid the back-and-forth haggling, but that didn't matter--they were dishonest from the start. They never showed me the Costco pricing sheet, and I have no idea if they followed the program. It's now under investigation. Here's what happened: I went in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving just to test drive two cars. I had an appointment scheduled for the weekend and wasn't planning to buy that night--or trade in my car. In fact, I intended to sell my car privately. By the end of the evening, I had purchased a car (not in the color I wanted, which they claimed they had), traded in my vehicle, dodged relentless pushes for add-ons, and resisted an attempt to lock me into high-interest financing. It was a whirlwind, and I can't understand how it happened. A single woman alone--what a cliché, but sadly true. By Friday, I realized I never saw the Costco pricing sheet. I sent emails, texts, made calls, and even tried online chat requesting specific documents. Nothing. Just days of runaround. I finally gave up and contacted Costco. Bought a brand new EV and as part of the deal they said they would include service on an existing Kia I already owned. When I was able to get the vehicle mobile I tried to get ahold of the salesman who sold us the car and got no answer. Then went down to the dealership to try and schedule in person and apparently a Canadian company bought it out and refuse to honor the previous deal I had made. Very unfortunate because I had such a pleasant experience with the last company and would have highly recommended them. Now, after talking to the new manager who was very dismissive and told me they won't help me I will never do business here again. Bad business! read more

Can't get much worse. They work hard to get a sale and then they drop you on the floor. Have ghosted us on all email and phone call comm's requesting copy of our sales and warranty agreements. Not helpful in troubleshooting particular issues with new car. Did not proactively work to set up the protection element that was part of our purchase and made it hard to get that done. Although I didn't end up choosing them as my dealership (saved 8k at a different dealership) I enjoyed the process and they made me feel confident in getting the top model of the car I wanted. Things were a little rushed and different dealers were coming in and out trying to convince me I was getting the best deal but Sofiya was incredibly helpful. She even stayed after her time off to help me really be sure I wanted the car. read more
