What a fun date tonight with my husband here at Godfather's! The original crust ham and sausage pizza was tasty, just as good as I remembered from my decades of being a fan of the brand in Nebraska. The salads were crisp and delcious. We topped the meal off with Diet Coke. The service was excellent, lots of smiles and curtesy. My husband knows how much I have loved this brand's pizza since Omaha and the 1980s. As a college student in 1979-80, I even lived next door to the original owner, Willy Theisen. I loved the current experience plus going down memory lane. This was my husband's first experience with Godfather's pizza. He likes it! read more

Soooooo disappointed with this location. I remember godfathers when I was a kid and it was the best pizza around. This time, it was worse than store bought, gluten free, frozen pizza and ridiculously expensive for what we got. On top of that, the staff was slow and def not trained well. Family went because of the pictures we saw on Facebook. Maybe our expectations were too high but I can safely say we won't be back. We ordered our pizza with light sauce but it came loaded with sauce. The sauce was not too bad it was just overdone. The crust was probably the biggest let down as it tasted a lot like frozen pizza crust. There are much better options around but can't score it too low as it was better than some other chains around. This place is my favorite! First off, the service is incredible! Secondly, if youre thinking of pizza hut, dominoes, papa John's, etc. You are a complete fool. Best deep dish around without question. The staff is super cool and care about your experience. I had a rough day at work and it was instantly wiped away by the service and taste! I don't know what it is but for some reason I just am not a fan of the pizza. the pizza is decent but it just seems so generic and there's nothing really special about it. I think it needs some Domino's seasoning =) read more

I don't know who got together and decided to lie about this pizza being good...but I'd like to know home much they paid you! I paid nearly $30 for a large two topping pizza and some cinnamon monkey bread. It was terrible. The pizza taste like it had been previously frozen. The crust is flavorless and the consistency is dry. The monkey bread also tastes old and tainted. There so much hype about Godfathers making a return...don't believe the hype. They did a fundraiser for my daughter's nonprofit and even though there was a mixup, they fixed it and management is GREAT. Hadn't tried that pizza before and it was good but when I reheated it tonight as a leftover, it was AWESOME! Great ceasar - I am allergic to lots of preservatives and their salad dressing was yummy - no allergies so it must no be loaded with junk. read more

When Godfather's Pizza opened in Thornton, my first thought was "OH! It was SO good back when I was in college in Ft. Collins!" Then I was worried it was just a refab and wouldn't be what I remembered. I'm happy to say it did not disappoint. We've eaten it a few times now and have been absolutely pleased every time. We get delivery. The staff are very friendly, the pizza arrives well within the expected time frame, and is baked to perfection. This is our "go-to" pizza from now on. Godfathers pizza is good pizza. No questions asked. I had their pesto chicken spinach an was hooked immediately. Their staff is friendly and caring and even found my dogs once when they ran away! Worst experience ever. Staff was very rude amd unhelpful. Soda machine was broken - flat soda, tasted terrible. They never got it fixed while we were there but they still charged us for it. Pizza was awful, wings were fatty and barely cooked, same for breadsticks. We all felt sick after eating there. Will never go there again. read more

First time trying out Godfathers pizza. We got a deal of a large pizza combo, 2 orders of bone-in wings, 2 soft drink and 1 beer for about $35. I was a little hesitant to stay because we got acstrong smell as soon as we walked it. The place had a strong smell of pumpkin or something similar, just very strong. Didnt know if i should assume the sauce was going to have a sweetness to it or if some sort of desserts were being made. Or possibly their cleaning supplies had that scent. Anyway, the food came. Wings seemed to be good. We ordered buffalo & parm sauce. Pizza looked ok but i just couldnt enjoy my food. Since the wings were big on flavor & ssuce, i could actually taste it over the smell. But i couldnt enjoy or even taste the pizza bc of the over powering smell. We of course had left overs. Tried it at home to give it another chance. We just moved back Colorado from Texas and was looking for some place to go for dinner. We saw the Godfather' Pizza and decided to give it a try (again). We use to go to a Godfather's in Colorado Springs many years ago. This one was much more modern of course. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We placed our order and took a seat. About 15-20 minutes later we were served our pizza. It was just as we remembered. It was piping hot and just as we remembered. We saw some reviews that were not the greatest. Ok, I ordered at 730 and at 840 still waiting, finally get someones attention and she says you got pizza and garlic bread, ummm no I didn't so she credits order maybe guess we'll see, but it was dine in and 20 minutes later, our pizzas came in boxes, ummm we cant eat here??? I had heard the hype about this place, and went in to check it out a couple of weeks after they opened. I waited 45-minutes for my pizza, which I didn't mind, and it was pretty good! It was not the best pizza I've had, but it was A-OK! Once the lines die down, I'll give it another shot, and see if it's better when they aren't as busy. read more

Glorious return of the Godfather!! Time: Friday 11:15AM called ahead and expected a 1 hour wait. 2 classic deep dish large pies. They said ready in 25 min! I tried the taco pizza and enjoyed it, which is unusual for me because I normally like the traditional stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful. I grew up with Godfathers and I was beyond ecstatic to read they were opening a location in Colorado, not too far from where we live. They have always been pricy but if i wanted cheap pizza, I'd order Pudge Bro or Pizza Hut. I'm willing to pay a little more for better quality pizza. The food is always delish. Taco is my all time fave, but we also like the classic and the Don. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cashier gal was rude to everyone and has poor customer service skills. Not gross but not great. Not much sauce on the pizza. The garlic bread came out of a box in the freezer. The dipping marinara came served in a plastic to go cup with the foil still on it. The potato wedges came from a bag served attractively with ketchup packets... Employees are clueless and incompetent. Pizza is mediocre. We've ordered delivery about 10 times. Tonight we were told they are too busy and we are out of the delivery area. We are 4.1 miles (10 mins) away. Every time we call they act like they are so busy and don't want to take your order. "It's going to be over an hour, is that okay?" Then it shows up 30 mins later. Grew up on Godfather's during the 1980s outside of Kansas City, then watched as the company fell on hard times and closed many franchises nationwide. Very happy to see them return and set up shop in Thornton, CO. Would give five stars if they were to begin delivery service in and around the area, but carry-out works for now. I have been waiting for the second location to open it by my house, all the stories about it said mid September, it's the in of October and still no store, I used to eat at this place when I was a kid, there is not a decent pizza joint near me. I call the one in Thornton to as when the new one was going to open and all I was told was that they couldn't tell me, I ask what happen to the mid September opening? I was told "we put it on hold". So it looks like if I want a good pizza I still have to go to Commerce City, after I get off work. read more

This is my go-to for pizza in Thornton! I hadn't been able to find any place comparable or better than the Garlic Knot and I think Godfathers accomplished that! Their pizza tastes so fresh, and is not covered in grease like other well known chains. Last time we ordered from Godfathers, my husband ordered some sort of light, fluffy garlic bread to go along with it. It was phenomenal! I can't recall the name but it was basically the fluffiest bread I've ever had in pie shape. I've never had a bad experience here! read more

Have been in twice since opening day and I am very pleased with the quality of food and friendly service! It has been very packed on both occasions which I have attended and while the wait was a little long it was well worth it. The pizza is delicious and there are a variety that I never would have guessed existed, I.E. TACO PIZZA! The crust is a little thicker than I usually like however it is cooked very well, crisp bite with a soft inside. The dining area is small so I opted for sitting outside which was pleasant and quiet. Great food, but lots of kinks to work out. Restaurant was clean, but silverware had tomato sauce on it. Cashiers and waitstaff very young and not too experienced with customer service, lots of blank deer in the headlights looks. We got there right at 11:00 am so no wait. When asked about beer specials and other questions, teen age staff just looked at us like we were trying to buy drugs from them and couldn't give us an answer. Cashiering glitches... Overcharged for some of our stuff, but got free beer in exchange, so it was all good and so was the beer. Loved the pizza! Great flavor. Awesome sauce, awesome sausage. Bummer that they don't deliver, I hope this changes. It's within walking distance of our house, so I will return another day to see if things have gotten better. read more

Customer service was lacking. Employees were sitting in the NE corner of the place drinking beer and eating wings before they noticed me. Food was awesome but the initial walk in was very lacking any welcoming feeling. Felt like I was an inconvenience at the time. read more

Is there a way to give less than 1 star? Awful experience from the get go. First off this is NOT the GodFathers I remember, this a disorganized fast food joint. Service was horrible, team members were uninterested in cleaning the dining area or helping guests. The one person who seemed in charge was barking orders out in a rude manner. We finally placed our order and found a table, then the wait began. Seemed like forever before our pizza arrived. The pizza was hot but seemed much like a frozen pizza one would buy from the supermarket. What I think of in a place like this, if what I can see In the dining area is awful, what about the kitchen That i can't see??? The pizza is average at best. It taste like a knock off of pizza hut. The prices are extremely high for average pizza. Figured the price was because I was at the shore but other pizza places are cheaper and better. Also the sizes at this place make no sense they are so much smaller than normal pizza places.
