Gojo's has been a staple in my neighborhood for as long as I can remember so as soon as I arrived in town, I couldn't wait to stop in. Our server greeted us right away and was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean as well. My family and I ordered our food and it was served pretty quickly. I chose the Denver Skillet and it tasted just as great as I remembered. My mom mentioned how amazing their grits were so I tried them and they were buttery, creamy and delicious. She ordered the House Delight Omelette and she enjoyed it but mentioned it had a tad bit too much feta. Unfortunately, as my stepdad was eating his omelette, he bit into a piece of metal. It looked to be a small piece of metal that had broken off of something. Needless to say, it was an unfortunate experience. The manager did comp his meal, apologized profusely and gave us all free dessert, which I thought was great customer service. Overall, it was really nice to stop in and grab a bite to eat at Gojo's. I have plenty of memories there and outside of the unpleasant situation, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and service.

2 things were great the food and and the service , We came looking for some good food and we came to the right place . Everyone was welcoming, we are from Los Angeles so I didn't know what we were gonna get . Me and the party I was with were all satisfied with everything. Eddie was very attending he made sure we had drinks , and kept making sure we were refilled, the food came quick and right nothing missing . I will be bringing my brother who is graduating from the Naval Academy he will like it I'm sure .

    The white haired man

It's was so GOOOODD, but for some reason there was a white haired male who kept walking past me? He was low-key fine! The food was pretty good too :) Anyways! I definitely recommend! I love Gojo!

This is a great 24 hour diner. They have very good breakfast, the wait staff is fast and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Fast, prompt service. Great for breakfast. Awesome breakfast special - $6.75 for three eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, hash browns and toast.

Brought my family after a long day at SIx Flags. Ate and left full, prices were resonable. We will return.

I was there last week with my husband (on a Thursday night 3/6), as we were staying next door at the Quality Inn, and in town strictly for our son's Navy graduation at Great Lakes the next day.

Our server Chad explained the menu in detail, offered recommendations, and took great pride in the restaurant. Everything is made from scratch, and they have a beautiful open kitchen. We started with the octopus, which our friends and Chad both recommended, and it lived up to the hype. They sous vide it so it's super tender, then crisp it for that little crunch you want in an octopus appetizer. The romesco and chorizo combo had us scraping the plate clean. For dinner, my husband had the hanger steak served with a large bone filled with bone marrow, along with brioche, truffle butter, and the Aligot and Brussels sprouts for sides. The Brussels and butternut squash were sweet, spicy, crispy, and salty - just amazing. I had the monkfish, which is very similar to lobster, and it was delicious! For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée, and like everything else we ate tonight, we left no crumbs. We can't wait to go back!

I pointed out that the fries had been cooked in stale oil and were overdone and the server argued and refused to speak to me about redoing them. He had a real attitude and did not know how to be professional in any way. He refused my polite request to speak to a manager. If you choose to eat here, you are warned.

It is a noisy place full of older customers that know everyone in the place. Lots of customers hugging the staff, talking with the owners, and other tables. A great atmosphere if you are a local. One of the owners even suggested carrot cake for our desert. Really good by the way. We did see a number of regulars tables that were receiving complimentary appetizers. I get it, but you should treat first time customers the same to make them repeat customers? The issue was with service and how we were treated after we had to get service. Our server disappeared once our main course was ordered. Yes the place was packed, but the server made sure she kept on touching base with the regulars tables and we received less attention. Well like no attention. Well like we had to go to the bar to one of the owners to get our check. Well and when my significant other tried to comment that we had a lack in service the owner walked away from us. She turned a really nice first time experience into a never going back and write a bad review experience. (And my significant other was mad the whole evening, which made the event worse for me.) So even though I wanted to at least give them a 2 star review I had to tie it back to the tip we gave of $1. Regretfully we will not be going back to The Green Room.

The bartender was kind and quick and took care of us sitting at the high tops when no one was at the bar. I had the Amber Ale and I would definitely recommend. I'm not a fan of the IPAs and I don't like the light beers much, so this ale is on my list as one of the best local beers around! The food that was catered was amazing. Great spinach dip, cheese bites, and the pizza was surprisingly delicious. It's rare that a bar pizza stands out, but I swear by this one. Loved the sausage and pepperoni and had my fair share before leaving. They even gave us take home containers so that I could take more home. All the employees here were kind and helpful. I definitely recommend you host an event here or come for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
