We go there to eat 2 to 3 times a week, we find some good meals for the price especially the all you can eat that comes with soup or salad and dessert, the Spanish chicken on rice on Sat's was pretty good until last time when they add up green olives to the sauce (it changed the flavor completely) and some of the chicken was overcooked nevertheless peoples tastes are different and somebody might like it better this way. And when I said peoples tastes are different let me give you an example: my wife loves the Mon's Spagetthi especial and I like it but I am not crazy about it, I eat it because you get all you can eat. For us the best breakfast gravy is from Hardee's not even Cracker barrel's is any good although we also go there to eat pretty often we found a better meal value at Gojos in all you can eat days and we don't have to go to Gurnee. Even if you have to pay a little more to eat late at night you need to consider that if you work the 3rd shift you make more money and by the way you support your local family owned eateries, so we don't mind. The wait staff is attentive and courteous something we appreciate, the ownership is pretty fair and we got some requests in order to improve the business image and these are to make a better and more often clean up job in the men's restroom, to set the new TV's in different channels such as news, sports (espn), local news, etc. when you wipe off the tables also wipe off the seats with a different rag because all the crumbs get to rest there, and since you have a separate dinning section in the back, how? about make it the "espn-sports-happy hour" section I am pretty sure you will get some more young business. ALERT! THEY HAVE 2-3 SEPARATE MENUS! After midnight they will give you the HIGHER PRICED menu with the same stuff on it! HIGHWAY ROBBERY! Isn't this against the law?! This is a great 24 hour diner. They have very good breakfast, the wait staff is fast and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Fast, prompt service. Great for breakfast. Awesome breakfast special - $6.75 for three eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, hash browns and toast.

Occasionally I like a good breakfast skillet for lunch. When I do, I like Gojos. However, today they topped the list of restaurants I will never go to again. As it turned out, the owner delivered my lunch. The bill came to about $13 and some change. I only had $16 and gave him all of that. With other co-workers around, he said, "Is that all!" How rude. I'm in town for my husbands Navy Boot Camp graduation and we decided to order in when we got back to our hotel room. We ordered a cheese pizza, chicken caesar salad and hot wings. We were both HIGHLY disappointed. Everything we ordered was COLD COLD COLD! We even had to microwave the pizza to heat it up in order to get it down! $41 wasted because we could not bring ourselves to finish the meal. We ended up deciding on ordering Chinese. How does this place maintain business? Poor quality and poor customer service. I had dinner the evening before my boyfriend's Naval graduation. I chose it because it was cold and just across the parking lot from my hotel. I found wonderful service and good food. Went for breakfast on a Sunday. Place was busy, but got sat in just a few minutes. Server was promt and friendly, after the food was served I asked for some extra jelly as there was no more strawberry jelly on the table, i never saw her again until she dropped the check. Asked a busperson for some as well and never saw him again either. Food was served hot and tasted good, but took almost to 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen. Don't think an omelet, and an pankake with eggs and bacon breakfast should take that long. We ate there a couple days ago, the food was ok. We had just left Six Flags so we were starving and exhausted. The service was good but the next morning my dad woke up throwing up really bad following having to go to the bathroom a lot. My mom also got food poisoning from the restaurant. Took about about a hour and 15 minutes...not bad time, however the food was tasteless, they forgot all of our salads and bread, and the aujus for a French dip...they brought the missing food about 30 minutes later. A co-worker had decided she just had to have pancakes for lunch so we headed to Gojos. I ordered the pineapple pancakes with a side of bacon and she ordered fresh strawberry waffles with a side of bacon as well.. It took almost 30 minutes to get our food and once we got it I started cutting into the pancakes and ate a piece of pineapple and started to have an allergic reaction (I have nut allergies). I took medicine and we got the attention of the waitress and explained I could not eat the pancakes and asked if I had missed the fact it contained nuts on the menu. The waitress did not know if it did or not and went to talk to the cooks. I had to sit there for 10 minutes why the cook argued that they were fine they way they were. Management finally came over and asked if I wanted anything else and I said no since we had to be back to work in 10 minutes. I again asked whether or not the menu said the pancakes contained nuts and he said he would look into it. Our waitress then decides to come back and see if I wanted anything else, I again said no thank you and asked again about whether or not the menu said it contained nuts, she shook her said and quietly said no it does not say anything about nuts. yuck! i ordered a appetizer sampler and it was the sorriest sampler i've ever seen in my life. they gave only 1 chicken finger, just one...who does that? and 2 onion rings!!!! it was a sorry mess and i will NEVER go back. Save your money and just go through a drive through at a chain. This place is overly priced for their poor quality food. The only good thing i had was their chicken soup which came with an order of philly cheesesteak sandwhich which was ok. Fries were fries, nothing amazing. So not worth the money. read more
