The food was okay. The best experience was the fried chicken liver-lightly breaded and cooked well. Also like the beef liver, tender and well marinated. I got my full iron quota for the day lol! The rest of the food was so so. I'm not very impressed with the overall food selection but I think it's more me than the restaurant. Server was super nice and accommodating and even gave us take out cup for our drinks. I'm just not super excited with my experience here but it's not so bad either.

The beautiful modern dining room is spacious, warm, inviting, and modern! We were greeted immediately and we're told that we can sit at any table that we would like to! This restaurant is definitely a 10 out of 10 for food, atmosphere and service! I would highly recommend!

Theres plenty of parking and they have a small area for outside seating. As you walked in, there's plenty of seating, they have an open kitchen concept, a side room for special events or meetings (25 people capacity) but it's their mission that caught my interest as cashier/ hostess Lexi explains to me. This company spreads and provides charity catering throughout the community with multiple outlets. Lexi was very patient as she explains how the menu works. I ordered 3 items: 1) Loaded baked potato 2) Fried fish 3) Chicken and waffles. I just wanted to taste the baked potato without any protein on top. I don't know what it was that had an off taste, maybe the butter. The potato itself was soft topped with cheese, green onions and a little bland. The chicken and waffle were tasty. The fried chicken wasn't as crispy as I would like it but it was well seasoned and the waffle was soft. There are so many options for your sides. So for the fried fish, the appearance looks delicious but it was very thin and dry. Even with the tartar sauce it was still dry. I was really looking forward to it. The sides I selected were fries and hope cakes (which are sweet corn bread). Their beverages are on point, I got their lemonade and sweet tea. Lexi was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is only opened on Fridays-Sundays for regular business but since they do multiple catering events, they are open 7 days a week. They also offer Sunday brunch between the hours of 9a-3p which the entire dining room is open with mocktail and coffee station. There isn't a buffet during the brunch but a la carte off the menu. I would make a return visit to try their brunch menu in the near future.

I judge every spot against what I'm putting out at home... and a lot of places fall short -- whether it's weak seasoning, lack of smoke, or just flat-out underwhelming flavor. But Wild Waylon's BBQ? Yeah... this place is LEGIT. We went all in: pulled pork, brisket, and the big dino beef ribs -- plus mac and cheese, green beans, a bacon-wrapped jalapeño popper, and the jalapeño cornbread. Every single thing delivered. The brisket had great flavor and was cooked right, the pulled pork was juicy and well-seasoned, and those beef ribs... absolute showstopper. Big, meaty, packed with flavor, and done exactly how you'd want them. Sides were just as solid. The mac and cheese was rich and satisfying, green beans had great flavor, and that bacon-wrapped jalapeño popper + jalapeño cornbread combo? Yeah... ridiculous in the best way. And the smoke -- you can actually taste it. That alone separates them from a lot of spots. The whole experience was on point too. The big pit out front lets you know immediately they're serious about their craft, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful the entire time. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality you're getting. This is one of the few places I've been where I walk away thinking, "yeah... they're doing it right." If you're anywhere near Fredericksburg -- or even just passing through -- this spot is absolutely worth the stop.

I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent experience at your restaurant in…read moreFredricksbrugh, Virginia. Our party of eight expected a pleasant family dinner, but unfortunately we encountered multiple issues that made for a very frustrating visit. The most concerning issue involved the "grilled" chicken. My wife has a gluten allergy, so she specifically ordered grilled chicken, assuming it would not contain flour or breading. After noticing that the chicken did not appear to be grilled, we asked our waitress about it. She checked with the kitchen and informed us that flour is used when preparing the chicken. This was extremely alarming, as someone with a gluten allergy would reasonably expect grilled chicken to be free of flour. If this information is accurate, it presents a serious concern for guests with dietary restrictions. To make matters worse, when we brought this concern to the manager, he dismissed it by saying the waitress "should not have said that" and insisted the chicken was grilled, despite the fact that it clearly did not appear to be. Rather than taking our concern seriously, he became confrontational when my father-in-law attempted to discuss the issues with him. His response was unprofessional and showed little interest in addressing our legitimate concerns. There were several additional problems with our meal as well. One member of our party ordered a steak medium rare but received it well done. On top of that, two of the eight meals did not arrive until after the rest of the table had already finished eating. By that point, those family members either had to eat alone or rush through their meals while everyone else waited. I want to make it very clear that our waitress was not at fault. She was courteous, attentive, and did the best she could in a difficult situation. The problems stemmed from the kitchen and, more importantly, from the way management handled our concerns. Instead of listening, apologizing, and attempting to make things right, the manager became defensive and dismissive. Our family chose Cheddar's expecting good food and good service, but we left extremely disappointed. The lack of concern for a potential food allergy, the kitchen mistakes, the significant delays in service, and the manager's confrontational attitude are unacceptable. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve both food preparation and customer service so other families do not have a similar experience.

Our bartender/server was Lashone and she was funny, fast and friendly! She was pouring drinks for the ENTIRE restaurant and didn't miss a beat!! The breakfast menu is small but everything sounded fantastic. I chose the Steak Tacos; my husband chose the brie and bacon frittata (added by the chef since the quiche was sold out. Steak tacos were delicious (see pic). Menu said they had steak, cheesy scrambled eggs, tomato salsa, breakfast potatoes and cilantro. I didn't see or taste any potatoes, but the tacos were still delicious! I'd only recommend draining the salsa through a sieve because of the excess juice affecting the integrity of the tortilla. My husband's frittata was awful. The eggs were dry; he compared them to "eggs at the bottom of the warming tray at a cheap breakfast buffet." The chef also served a side salad alongside. My husband asked about subbing potatoes and Ms. Lashone made it happen. She was the star of our brunch: drinks were delicious, the conversational quips were quick and funny. She was attentive without being intrusive and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. 5 stars for her and my food; 1 for the frittata. I don't want to average it and tank the rating.
