I placed an order through Uber Eats. One of the items I ordered was the four person meatloaf meal. I received only the single serving meatloaf meal. I was charged for the four person meal. Obviously I was overcharged or somebody's not paying attention to how things are ordered. Also, the ordering process does allow to decline or to not include utensils. Yet, I received utensils. So I'll say again, someone is clearly not paying attention! I'll expect an expedited refund of that meatloaf meal. read more

This Golden corral has been closed for remodeling. So I was looking forward to trying them out when they opened back up. They reopened February 1st. They were real busy. My Mom came shortly after they reopened and it was very busy as well. There was a manager who helped us as we went through. Very nice to deal with. Didn't take long to get in and find a table. Have to say other than the chicken wings and baked chicken everything seemed to be kept refreshed. The only complaint was my favorite dessert the cake with jello inside was a bit stale or over cooked broke apart . Great deal going in the afternoon they have early bird. Terrible food, which is not fresh, they're known to be dirty establishments who are routinely flagged by health inspectors. I love this place. All-you-can-eat for one price. The food quality is good. The service is okay for an all-you-can-eat buffet. The atmosphere is friendly. My only complaint is that their setting space is cramped if you get a booth. The space between the edge of the table and the booth is limited. Other than that it is a great place to eat. read more

Arrived at 4:15 pm and they tell us they are already out of wings (supposed to have started at 4pm) Restaurant is dirtier than ever, food getting worse, dessert area always looks like they have had a food fight back there. Stock not organized and stacked everywhere (in boxes) in several food areas within customer view. Pick up/to go area is an absolute joke. Dry stock everywhere...floors, back counters, front counters, in front of the warmer where they keep the to go orders hot. Employees going from dry stock to food and back, all employees use that register to clock in and out, they use the area for overflow prep. It is a cross contamination nightmare. Having to wait to get your silverware while your food is getting cold because they have one poor overworked person doing their best to do everything to keep up on a crowded day is just sad. The bathrooms are atrocious and smell like they hung car deodorizers in there to cover the fact that they are not cleaned regularly. Also, being handicapped and having to wait for the handicap stall when all the others were empty because an able bodied WORKER was using it, was irritating!!! I need those rails!!! I love buffets because I'm a picky eater. When you are a picky eater & you are with friends & the server asks what I'd like, I can almost hear my friends holding their breath. Because I'll ask for this but then that on the side and then I'd like to change the side it actually comes with. Then the server will say "there's an extra charge for that". Then I'll say - "wait.....that changes everything. Let's start over." Yep - you don't want to go to lunch with me. So this was first visit to Golden Corral. Decent prices, very fresh food - they continually replenish everything. Getting fresh vegetables out of the containers can be a bit tricky though. I went to get a couple celery sticks at the salad bar with the provided tongs & they flew off the tongs and landed at the feet of a couple at a table. I just stood there, mortified not knowing if I should go get it or pretend the person next to me did it. So that's what I did & I quickly walked away. I adore their fresh baked rolls, the roast beef, the fruit but my favorite was the dessert bar! Well, the ice cream machine was not available & it saddened me until I walked around to the front of the dessert bar. WOW!! If I could give no stars, it would be more accurate. This was our first time visiting this location and it'll be our last. This location was out of everything... including plates and knives. No ice cream, no cotton candy, no fondue, no broccoli, no chicken. Literally each bar had at least 5 items that weren't there. The fact that my son got a piece of steak and was told they didn't have knives was ridiculous. When the kids couldn't find any of the things they normally enjoy at GC, we agreed to let them move on to dessert and they waited 10 minutes for a plate AFTER asking, I grabbed a to-go box to allow them to put a cookie because that was about all that was on the dessert bar that wasn't picked over. I've never been a big Golden Corral fan because the food is mediocre but it's one of the only places in Pensacola where you can get a variety of foods. My complaint is with the FILTHY PLATES. The plates were so filthy. I picked up plates with dried food smeared on them. It looked like it hadn't even been washed or touched with water for that matter. It really looked like they took it off a table and placed in the "clean dishes". I asked for a manager. He was a nice guy, these were his exact words "since we switched to the white plates they've been a problem". My response was "so you're saying the colored plates was hiding the dirt?" I don't see why they don't give customers the options to pay a little more and use disposable paper plates like they do at the KFC buffet. read more

Look this is a buffet so if you're expecting a fine dining experience then you are at the wrong place. Prices are reasonable 55.00 for 5 people. 3yr olds and under are free. They have one of the best salad bars in this town shockingly enough. Now some of the staff appear miserable especially older man working the steak station but our server was nice enough and efficient. My kids like this place because of the chocolate fountain (which all I see are germs lol) but they love it. They also love the cotton candy. Now here is where they fail and should receive a lower review to be honest... their bathrooms are disgusting! I mean I was shocked how they allowed them to be.
