They did a fantastic job installing a new burner on short noticed and worked diligently until it was installed. The experience was seemless and they went above and beyond to do a great job.

    Called Domination Plumbing and Heating as recommended by a local landscaping company to install a…read morebackflow preventer. Pros: They were responsive and got me an appointment the next day. Technicians were very polite and provided good recommendations. Cons: After taking a look at what needed to be done to install the backflow preventer, the technicians informed me that the job would be approximately $1,500, which was the price that my landscaper told to me to expect. Later in the day, I get a call from Domination, informing me that the estimate came in at $2,300. Since Domination's pricing was not competitive with other contractors, I decided not to proceed with their services. At this time, I was informed that there was a $129 estimate fee, which was the first time I was informed of this, at least to my recollection. I felt like I never consented to this so I asked if this could be waived. Later, I receive a call from the owner, where he explained his rationale as to why the estimate was $2,300, citing labor costs, materials, permits, and complaining about travel cost for his technicians. This was a strange and unprofessional conversation, using language such as "We want to do a good job, we are not here to f#ck around". Technicians were also extremely late for my 8:00am-9:00am appointment, arriving at approximately 10:30am. They also held me up for about an hour or so while they waiting for their admins to finalize a quote. For me, If your travel costs are so high, don't service Chestnut Hill residents and up charge them. Use professional language and effectively communicate to your customers. I have children that needed to get to daycare and this experience disrupted our day and work schedule

STAY AWAY FROM LEOMINSTER PLUMBING & HEATING. I called Leominster Plumbing & Heating in early Spring of 2011 to"check for leaks" in my home, due to a high water bill. On the day of the appointment, they 'no-showed'. I called, and they set another appointment. I mistakenly missed the 2nd appointment. So, 2 appointments in which 1 party was not present. A week afterwards I began receiving bills for $160 (2 appointments at $80 a piece). Still to this very day they send me bills for, what is noW over $200. In the summer of 2011 I contacted the Better Business Burea and as a "good faith gesture" the owner Stephen Douglas decided to credit 1 appointment = $80 (now , is that your no-show, or my no-show, hmmm). However, after several monthsI began receiving the full bill over $160. In January 2013, astonished at their audacity, I contacted the new manager. and he sent me a letter stating they would waive $80 (how nice). A week later received a bill or $200. Now I have to contact the BBB again, the Leominster Mayor's Office and the MA Division of Consumer Affairs. I REPEAT, STAY AWAY FROM LEOMINSTER PLUMBING & HEATING.

I am giving them a 3 Because I have at time received Great Service from them on small Appliance issue's and general Maintenance. Their punctuality and Professionalism is standard for the Business that it is. The First two years they cleaned my Furnace was great. Same person came both times, very knowledgeable and professional, Showed up on time and did a great job. The last time they came back 2 times: the person who cleaned my furnace declined to tell my husband and I that a valve was broken and he didn't fix it. So at 9pm at night when we realized we had no heat we couldn't figure out why Since the furnace was serviced that day!! They came back and rectified the situation but sent us a second bill for the work that should have been done during the maintenance !! We disputed and didn't have to pay without any problems past that. I do Have to say though out of all the Plumbers we've tried contacting over the Years, we find that you can't beat Leominster plumbing and Heating prices. Just the fact alone that some one always either Answers the phone or actually calls you back is an anomaly in itself in that business.
