She literally came up the driveway, opened up the van, and took the cats inside. From there, over the course of a couple hours, she METICULOUSLY did the nail-clipping of the cats; the ear-cleaning of the cats; the full-out hair-cutting of the cats; the full-out shampooing-and-batheing of the cats; and the full-out towel-and-blowdrying of the cats. The price was a MASSIVE BARGAIN compared to any other catgrooming service within 50miles of this neighborhood, and THE GROOMER DRIVES TO YOU! The cats ended up looking beautiful and happy. They smell great too. And, best of all, their claws are trimmed PERFECTLY! That means no more cuts and scratches. I actually had become USED TO getting scratched and clawed up several times a week, up till now. In fact, the only possible negative thing that MIGHT even potentially be said...? She responded a few hours later asking if she could schedule for the next day at 11am, confirmed with her on it (again). 10/21 Saturday: texted Ava at 11:25am to check if she's coming, again no response, no calls, didn't show up. No more contact since then. I am honestly extremely disappointed in how unprofessional she handled her appt with me. It doesn't matter if she had an emergency, I have been more than understanding to let her reschedule with me twice AND left me hanging twice, and I would have continue being understanding if I was given heads up and good communication. No offense, unless she was dying or kidnapped by an alien, there's is no excuse for bailing on your client twice with no heads up whatsoever. If that's true, learn how to pause your business or set an auto-reply or reply from there in few days. Don't pop up half a year later acting like you're doing me a favor. At other places, my dog is calm and content. One instance that sealed my decision was when I got a call, 30 minutes after picking up my dog, saying he was ready for pickup. When I mentioned that I had already taken him home, there was no apology... just "ok" before hanging up. Like excuse me? No sense of security here. While the grooming here is acceptable, there are definitely better options out there with superior service and kinder handling.

Josh, the owner, used to work out of his house, and I would bring my labs to him and his team. I referred over a dozen people to him bc I ALWAYS support small business ventures. Several of them still go to him and I have kept quiet about my experience. Upon inquiring about a simple nail clipping for ONE of my pets, Josh informed me that it was the NEW law under Covid that ALL dogs must be groomed prior! Clearly, this was during COVID. And he was trying to make an extra buck for those not coming into the NEW SHOP. The sign hadn't even been put up yet. Needless to say, his statemet wasn't true. There was no such law. Case in point, I took my guy to PETCO on the same day, and they did the nail trim right then and there with NO questions asked or prior grooming appointments needed. Upon inquiring with them, they hadn't been made aware of the new law. I haven't been back because I didn't appreciate being lied to in order to obtain a grooming fee. Josh never apologized but simply stated: "That was a long a time ago!" I have since found proper groomers that don't lie and my boys have never looked better. Then, a couple of months ago, I brought her in for her wash and cut and when I picked her up, she had red stripes on her tummy. Willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, I called them and asked them about it. I was told that they had noticed a rash on her tummy and that I should take her to a dermatologist. I pay very close attention to my dog and neither I, nor any of my co-workers had notice anything on her tummy the previous day. (Yes, I'm VERY lucky. I get to bring her to work with me!) I won't say not to go here but I will say, if you go, have Rick take care of them. I have been nothing but happy with his care of her. I would personally request him.
