Came during happy hour. Everything was reasonably priced and everything tasted delicious. We had an assortment of what was on the menu. We shared the sliders, oysters, chowder and olives. Everything tasted great. I'd say the slider was ok. Would definitely come back. Customer service excellent. Waiter was Johnny.

Breakfast was unbelievably good! A perfect omelette without a brown spot to be found. The potatoes were delicious too.

Chowder and grill cheese, you won't be disappointed

Lovely leisurely lunch in a warm comfortable dining room. The lunch was leisurely, not for our choosing but seems the intended speed of service. The chowder was really amazing and with a grilled cheese sandwich a 10. Not a cheap repast but elegant and relaxing. Allow 2 hours for service.

We have met friends here for lunch and/or libations on numerous occasions. Let's just say that the location is perfect as is the service! Ambience is what we like a beautiful view of Elliott Bay in Seattle downtown literally a block from the Piles Place Public Market and across the street from SAM. Yet it's quiet and comfortable enough to have a real conversation with people. Today I had the Niçoise salads and it was over the top great! Lots of seared ahi and of course Nicoise olives. Plus tomatoes and green beans. Want a quiet place to actually speak with someone special while enjoying a great view and great food and great service? In Seattle? This is it!

Came for a work lunch and was underwhelmed. The ambiance is calm and well-decorated and the service is great, but the food falls short. We ordered the focaccia for the table and I had the bavette steak but both were just ok. The steak was cooked longer than I asked for and I didn't think the salad flavors went very well together.

Nice place to get together for business and have a nice meal. They were a little slow serving us but everything else was fine.

It's part of Four-Season hotel. For brunch, other than the price, I found no complaint and finished very satisfied. Great cooking that emphasized ingredients, not seasoning, great Four-Season services, good standard coffee (no need for espresso), and everything in beautiful presentation. If you have a special occasion and want to impress, this is a good choice. I think brunch is weekend only. Tiramisu is the best I had. And I had many many before.

Amazing drinks and Amazing chowder + oysters at Four Seasons seaside tavern for a pre dinner birthday drink

The food was unexpectedly wonderful, the service was excellent, the view was beautiful! The tavern was warm, relaxed and chic. We came here for pre dinner drinks (we went out to have dumplings) and not only were the drinks wonderful and on point, the menu was too tempting not to try a few things. We got Oysters, which were some of the freshest I've ever had, and I'm from a sea side town aka Santa Barbara. They say Seattle has some of the best seafood in the US, and now I believe them. The chowder was delicious and fresh as well. For a hotel restaurant we were happily surprised. After dinner we took a tour of the newish Four Seasons rooms & Pool and will definitely be back to stay!

We had such an amazing date night here. Great happy hour. Great ambiance, service, & food. I'm a vegetarian and I'm still thinking about the mushroom risotto. Most of the cocktails were great, just a note that the limoncello tasted a little off? I've had it before (and also have been to Italy). I'm not sure what went wrong there. So I'd probably avoid that. But other than that we had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

The food was pretty decent - really enjoyed the goldfinch burger (though it was very messy to eat and didn't stay together well), the fries, and also enjoyed the Caesar salad and goldfinch chowder. The service however was not great. The hostess was incredibly rude and kept trying to turn us away despite the fact we had a reservation. She claimed she couldn't find it and kept telling us to leave until we showed her the confirmation and then she said ok she would "squeeze us in." Wth? Not at all the service I expect from a 4S. The server forgot about my wine and rarely came to check up on us. Over all, fine food if you're in a pinch but go elsewhere if you care about good service.

Check out Goldfinch Tavern located in the Four Seasons on Union Street. They have the best Cioppino I've ever tasted! Believe Me! You will Luv it! Seafood was so fresh and the broth had the perfect texture and flavor! They even had live Jazz music for a perfect relaxing and chilly Seattle evening Seattle

Christmas Dinner 2024 Wow! Our first time participating in Four Season Hotel's Christmas Dinner at GoldFinch Tavern was truly an enlightening experience! It's a HUGE BUFFET of appetizers and salads, you choose your main entree and then enjoy another HUGE dessert buffet! What an incredible opportunity to indulge in the spirit of giving! Needless to say, I took ONE BITE of our entree and then promptly asked for boxes to bring home, feeling grateful for the abundance of food and the chance to take some home! Too much to eat on the buffets, but what a wonderful problem to have! LOL

3 stars for food, 4 for the fact they have Lush IPA on draft and the friendly waiter. Ambiance was impeccable and felt very distinguished and sophisticated. The designers incorporated heavy felt strips into the hanging decor so as to moderate the restaurant noise. The rigatoni was decent, I liked the juicy sausage but it was still somewhat unremarkable and I wished it was a slightly larger portion. The Caesar salad looked lovely but the taste was flat, no lemon or tang that is characteristic of this types of salad. A highlight was our waiter who made sure we had everything we needed. Prices are high but it's inside a FS, so you can expect this. I would definitely return if ever staying again at this hotel.

They kept asking us if we wanted to order another drink even though we were still working on our first ones. The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with the bartender I've added in the photos, I don't see myself returning. Sadly they have a Prejudice bartender.
