They have a $1 wings deal ( dine in only) on mon and tues so we went n got us 15 soy garlic wings. It was delicious and crunchy as always ( been to many franchise of this brand) but $6 for the little fries in the photo feels a bit pricy. Inside was very quiet no music at all. Food came out quick as we were the only table but i imagine it could be quite crowded on the weekend since this is a popular k chicken brand. Ranch/ any sauce is not complimentary ( 70c for one). I like the pickled daikon a lot and it's a good amount in that tub for $2.50. Overall this deal make it worth the price, normally is quite pricy so glad we went n enjoyed it.

Bonchon is our go to spot for Korean Fried Chicken. It is crispy, flavorful, and never disappoints. Service is friendly. The menu has everything for everyone.

This establishment serves the best Korean fried chicken *I've* ever had thus far. Every bite of skin was crispy, the meat was always tender & juicy, and the soy garlic flavor is so delicious to me that it's the only flavor I've been able to get. And I've been here a handful of times. The garlic fries are great as well. Generously seasoned, very crispy, and the garlic punches you which I'm definitely a fan of. The donuts are nice as well. Not to sweet with a pillowy interior and slightly crunchy exterior. I love this chicken so much that any time I'm nearby I HAVE to come by and at least get a small order of deliciousness...

Their menu is updated, they no longer have the 12 piece wings. Delicious and crispy! Good size drum sticks and flats! They're quick also!

    Empty and sad. Hmm...

I ordered a chicken katsu. The menu says "served with cole slaw". I told the server the cole slaw is missing and she says they don't serve it with cole slaw but she'll give it to me anyway...ok...? Then I dig into the food and the rice is dried out, the chicken is overcooked and tough, and the cole slaw tasted... Bitter? I don't understand what happened to this place... I paid $14 for this meal that I'm rather dissatisfied with. When they opened they gave so many sides and the food was genuine really good. I'm disappointed and I'm sorry to say I'm never returning. They are looking like they are on their last leg of life here. So good luck on your next venture.

First time coming here, the place was empty just 2 people were working that evening. This place is a B grade but I still have it a shot. Man, the food did not disappoint. The bulgogi fries is bomb along with the chicken fried rice!

First time trying Bonchon, and as a fan of Korean fried chicken, it exceeded all my expectations! We ordered the soy garlic and original drumsticks. The crunch on them was incredible. Also, it was thick and did not lack meat at all. Also ordered a side of fries and the noodles which were a great recommendation by the cashier. Will definitely be coming back.

I had lunch at this Artesia location with a friend. It's a fast-casual place where you order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. They have several chicken plates but are mainly known for their chicken wings/drumsticks. I decided on one of their lunch specials: 6 piece bone-in chicken with fries and a drink. I don't do spicy so requested 3 pieces with the garlic-soy coating and 3 pieces with the traditional Korean coating. Their soda machine was out of order so I was offered a canned beverage of my choice from their cooler by the pleasant and patient woman at the counter (I grabbed an A&W root beer). I took my first bite of one of the pieces....CRUNCH! Yah, that was loud. The coating was the most deliciously crunchy I've ever had. The flavor of both coatings were fantastic (they tasted the same to me but one had a mild garlic taste) and neither was spicy. The meat itself was hot, tender, and moist. The amount of meat on the wings and drums was plentiful, not the pathetically meager amount one often gets on the tiny pieces served at BWW and other places. To the best of my recollection this might be the best Korean fried chicken I've had. The delectable fries had a crunchy coating as well. The serving size was large considering the wallet-pleasing price of this lunch special. I'll definitely be back and hope they open more locations nearer to me.

Bonchon is one of my favorite Korean fried chicken chains and they never seem to disappoint. It's been a while since I've been back to Bonchon and it's the first time for me at the Artesia location. Service was quick for dine-in on a weeknight and it was a casual vibe. They have new flavors like Yangnyeom as well. Glad to see their menu updated! Note: their fountain drinks for this location are Stubborn sodas, but have canned sodas available as well.

    Drums. Crunch with every bite.

Dang they have some good tasty/crunchy chicken here! I went with the drum sticks half & half, soy garlic/spicy. Chicken came out hot and fresh and some of the best chicken i had! I thought the chicken were little wing stop style drums but no these are regular size drums. I had to take some home. I also got a order of onion rings which were good with ranch dressing. They are located in a shopping center on with the boiling point is. The inside is clean and good variety of fountain drinks. The girl at the front desk was very sweet. Going back for the potstickers and shrimp. Definitely check this place out.

Good not great but I liked the kimchi mixed in. The bread was good maybe a little too much for the pieces of chicken. The chicken was flavorless and dry. I expected a whole chicken breast instead of chicken strips. The box was a fun little touch. But I'll try their wings next time.

Came in from Tucson and this place came highly recommended by our friend and they did not disappoint. Fried chicken strips half soy garlic and the other half yang yum were amazing! Definitely a 5 star meal. Chicken fried rice fell a little short in the flavor and I've never had it with red bell peppers before so it wasn't my favorite. Store was very nice and clean with plenty of seating and our server was very friendly.

The chicken is fire.... but the service? It was our first time there and the cashier was a bit rude. It wasn't busy, we were actually only the second customers in there. Thumbs down bro. We ordered wings with a cole slaw and the slaw wasn't even filled to the top. Other than that the place was pretty clean.

It has been transformed…read moreinto one of the area's premier destinations for authentic Korean comfort food, embracing the traditions of slow-cooked, homestyle recipes passed down through generations. Every dish reflects a dedication to Korean culinary heritage, arriving at the table bubbling, sizzling, and steaming with irresistible aromas. Step inside and you are welcomed by the comforting scent of toasted sesame, simmering garlic, and richly fermented broths that instantly make you feel at home. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and unpretentious, capturing the feeling of gathering around a family dinner table. The menu celebrates soulful Korean classics with bold fermented flavors, slow-simmered stews, casseroles, salad wrap combinations, noodle dishes, and grilled fish, alongside shareable favorites like Korean chive pancakes, seafood pancakes, and abalone porridge. Every meal begins with one of the best complimentary spreads of banchan in town. The assortment is vibrant, tangy, spicy, and refreshingly diverse, featuring dishes that are increasingly difficult to find at many Korean restaurants. Our table included a variety of namul (seasoned vegetables), steamed eggplant, creamy Korean potato salad, japchae, and wonderfully fresh kimchi. Each side dish provided its own balance of flavor and texture while perfectly complementing both steamed rice and the main courses. **Dwaeji Bossam (Steamed Pork with Napa Cabbage) + Doenjang Jjigae (Soybean Paste Stew) Combo, plus banchan - $45.99** The bossam showcases beautifully prepared pork belly that is incredibly moist, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth rich without any unwanted pork odor. Thin slices of pork are elegantly arranged like ribbons and served alongside an impressive assortment of accompaniments: spicy julienned radish kimchi (musaengchae), sliced raw garlic, fresh jalapeños, ssamjang (sweet and savory fermented soybean chili paste), saeujeot (salted fermented shrimp), carrot and cucumber sticks, crisp green leaf lettuce, and blanched napa cabbage for wrapping. Every condiment serves a purpose. The crunchy radish kimchi cuts through the richness of the pork with bright acidity and spice. The saeujeot delivers an intensely savory burst of umami, while the ssamjang contributes a balanced combination of sweetness, heat, and fermented depth. Wrapped together inside fresh lettuce or tender napa cabbage, every bite becomes an explosion of contrasting textures and harmonious flavors. The accompanying doenjang jjigae is equally satisfying. The fermented soybean paste creates a deep, aged savoriness that is rich yet mellow, supported by anchovy stock, garlic, and just enough heat from sliced jalapeños. A slightly thickened broth envelopes silky tofu, tender zucchini, onions, and potatoes, creating one of Korean cuisine's most comforting stews. **Eun Daegu Jorim (Braised Black Cod) - $48.99** The braised black cod is another standout. Buttery, flaky pieces of fish are gently simmered in a glossy reduction that perfectly balances savory, sweet, spicy, and umami flavors. Thick chunks of radish slowly absorb the rich braising liquid until they become almost as satisfying as the fish itself. Just before serving, the dish is finished with freshly diced green onions that contribute brightness and a subtle bite to this deeply comforting classic. Service deserves special recognition. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. My family felt immediately at ease from the moment we walked through the door. The servers anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, quietly refilling water glasses and clearing finished plates with thoughtful timing. What impressed me most was the kindness they showed my mother, treating her with genuine warmth, sincere compliments, and the type of hospitality that made us feel less like customers and more like welcomed guests in someone's home. This restaurant beautifully showcases everything that makes Korean comfort food so beloved: slow-cooked recipes made entirely from scratch, deeply flavorful stews, generous portions, exceptional banchan, and heartfelt hospitality. Between the authentic homestyle cooking, robust flavors, and caring service, it has quickly become one of the finest places in the area to experience the warmth and comfort of traditional Korean cuisine.

This location has served cold noodle soup (mulnaengmyun) all the years we have come. The most recent owner is also female, and her kitchen and front end staff are all female. By far, this serves the best cold noodle soup and thin chewy buckwheat noodles. The hot summer days certainly bring in a crowd! The side dishes or banchan change frequently, my favorites are the tomato and apple, onion and parsley plus the house made kimchi. Occasionally they have the white or non spicy kimchi which is so delicious and refreshing. We often get the combo cold noodle with beef bulgogi (thin sliced marinated beef) or kalbi (LA style short rib sliced across and marinated then grilled). Love the bossam plate :boiled pork belly served with vegetables for wrapping. Also good is the marinated chicken & veggie wraps combo. The gamjeatang or pork spare rib spicy stew if full of tender pork and stewed vegetables, that I feel is a healthy alternative to the grilled meats. The boochoo neon (I hope I spelled that correctly) or chive pancake is done so well here: tender and crispy on the edges. Great for sharing as an appetizer. They also have a barley dish that is mostly vegetarian with spicy sauce. Very glad they are open daily and until 9 pm (last call is about 830). Many families and golf buddies or business partners frequent the place. Quiet, thankfully has A/C cranked to cold most year round, so you can enjoy your meal in comfort. The manager (Joy) and servers are unfailingly quiet and priced excellent service.

The inside is clean and cozy: warm wood paneling, booth seating and an old-school Korean restaurant feel. Nothing flashy. It just feels comfortable. Service was good, but the pacing was slow. Banchan came out with the entrees instead of before, so the table sat empty for a bit. The entrees came out around 20 minutes in. The Korean pancake took closer to 30. The banchan spread was simple but fresh. Sesame broccoli. Marinated potato chunks. Kimchi. Pickled cucumbers. Lightly dressed mayo macaroni. Nothing wild, but everything tasted clean and did its job. The beef soondubu was solid. The jjigae was balanced and rich, with soft tofu and enough beef to make the bowl feel complete. It came out bubbling hot, ready for the raw egg to hit the broth and disappear into comfort. I got medium heat, but it ate pretty mild, so go higher if you want actual spice. The stone pot bibimbap was good, but I wanted more from it for the price. More vegetables, bigger bowl, more of that loaded bibimbap feeling. The sweet gochujang sauce had good flavor, but barely any heat. Good bowl. A little restrained. The Korean pancake was the all-kill of the meal. No lip sync. Fried beautifully. Crisp edges. Good chew. Green onion, onion and zucchini in every bite. The batter had a hint of caramelized fried egg flavor, which made it taste richer. Dip it in the sauce for that salty, savory lift. Bite it with kimchi and the whole thing wakes up: crisp, rich, tangy, gone. It showed up last and still became the reason to come back. They also have a seafood version, which is dangerous information to learn after the pancake already won the meal. Parking was easy during lunch, with plenty of spaces in the strip mall lot. But with an AYCE restaurant in the same plaza, weekends or busier dinner hours might be a different story. Great food quality, cozy space and the kind of meal that asks you to slow down whether you planned to or not. The pacing was slow, but the food had enough care behind it to keep the meal worth it. Come hungry, but not in a hurry. And get the pancake.

The broth was rich, savory, and slightly spicy with that tangy kimchi flavor. The pork bone meat was sooo tender and literally fell apart! The dipping sauce made it even better too. It had a little mustardy kick that went perfectly with the pork. We also added the cheese fried rice and definitely recommend it! Crispy on the bottom, cheesy, and so flavorful from the leftover broth. The bossam was also really good! Loved the pork wrapped in napa cabbage which adds a fresh, crunchy texture to every bite. And of course, we had to get the kimbap! So delicious and the perfect bite to go with everything else. Definitely coming back when I'm craving Korean comfort food! What we ordered: -Kimchi Gamjatang (M, 2 servings) -Cheese Fried Rice (add on) -Bossam (S) -Kimbap -Sapporo

I came here with a friend and we got their Pork Cutlet (Handmade Pork Cutlet) and Naeng Myun (Cold…read moreBuckwheat Noodles). The pork cutlet was large in portion but quality-wise, it wasn't as good. I really enjoyed their Naeng Myun though; it was very refreshing and the sweet radish that came with it was a great touch altogether. All the side dishes that came with were great although I only tasted a few of them. Everything tasted fresh and the food really felt authentic for me as a Korean. Their service was welcoming and laidback. After they brought out our food, they didn't really come to serve us unless we needed something. Water is provided at each table so it's more of a self-serve unless you order a drink. Ambiance was awesome; it gave off a family friendly atmosphere. There was a lot of space inside and very comforting overall. I'd definitely come back. (Sorry folks, I forgot to take a picture of the cold noodles!)
