    Cappuccino and espresso

Pastries & Coffee - 5* Service 5* Ambiance 5* I've only had coffee drinks and some pastries here. I haven't tried any sandwiches or entrees - yet. The cappuccino is very smooth and it has no bitter finish. The amount of foam to milk ratio is perfect. Service is always outstanding and very friendly. I love the ambiance here, it's a lively neighborhood upscale coffee shop without being snobby.

My first time here and I will definitely be back to explore the market and more of their menu! Today I got an iced flight path latte- this was ok. For a double shot espresso latte it was very watered down and I think overall had too much milk. I also tried the Labneh toast and the pineapple coconut roll?? Both were so so good especially the pastry! Sit outside on the patio and enjoy your coffee and breakfast- you'll love it!

I LOVE this bodega in Banker's Hill! They have delicious looking pastries, the best coffee drinks, and serve wine. What more could you ask for? I've come here a couple times and the staff is always friendly. I ordered the Iced Sunrise Latte (salted caramel). To say I'm obsessed would be an understatement. I had to order another on my way out. We also ordered a Lox Toast on an everything bagel. It was a large portion and perfect to share. One of the staff brought out our drinks, our food, and brought us an extra plate and utensils. The indoor/outdoor space is wonderful and a great spot to either study or work.

Wow, what a place I wish I could come here every single day. They have an assortment of food items and drink items and a case full of pastries that I didn't even get to try yet. I ordered the heavenly Matcha and I wish I could come back just for this if I didn't live so far away The coffee was great as well, and the burrata item we ordered was very filling and fresh Everyone is so friendly and honestly just walking around the bodega is fun. There is plenty of outdoor seating so make sure to go to the patio.

It gives a NYC vibe, like waking up and running downstairs for some toiletries and possibly some pastries and coffee. Great vibe. There's some indoor seating and also a patio out the back with seating. *Passion fruit cookie - it has a rich flavor to it, almost too sweet. I could taste a hint of passionfruit but it was just okay. *Almond croissant - it was alright but I noticed the almond filling was extremely light as in there was barely any. I actually asked my partner if he ate the filling cause I didn't have any - he said there was barely any. *Flight Path Latte - definitely tastes like cardamom which I do enjoy. Had mine iced with whole milk just so I don't change the taste of it. I would $7 for such a small drink...I'd think about it next time but it was good so I don't mind.

I've been meaning to check this place out for a while, and I finally had the chance to meet up with a friend here on a Saturday morning. I'm not sure if it's always this busy on Saturdays, but it was packed! We arrived around 9 a.m., and there was already a line to order. Even after we found a table, the line just kept growing. They have a beautiful back patio, which looked like the ideal place to sit, but all of the shaded tables were already taken. We ended up sitting inside, although they also have a few tables out front. The space is really cute, and I love having a neighborhood bodega like this. It's definitely an elevated version of a traditional bodega, with a thoughtfully curated selection of household goods, pantry staples, condiments, wine, and other specialty items. It's fun to browse while you're waiting for your order. The menu includes breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, pastries, and coffee. The prices are definitely on the higher side, especially for the food, but that's somewhat expected given the location and concept. My friend ordered the avocado toast, while I went with the Bodega Latte, which is flavored with saffron, along with a gluten-free carrot cake. They had a nice selection of pastries, and while the croissants looked incredibly tempting (which is usually what I'd order), I can't resist a good carrot cake. The carrot cake was moist and enjoyable, although I personally would have loved a stronger carrot flavor with a few more shredded carrots throughout. The Bodega Latte was unique and delicious--I love saffron, and it's not something you see on many coffee menus. The only thing I'd change is the milk texture. The foam was a little too airy for my preference, as I tend to enjoy a creamier, denser microfoam in my lattes. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Between the unique drinks, cute market, and inviting atmosphere, I'd definitely come back to try more of the pastries. Next time, I'll just make sure to arrive a little earlier so I can snag a table on that beautiful back patio.

Bodega Breakfast Sandwich on a bagel $16

Heavenly Bodega is a good concept done in other areas selling food, drinks, and sundries from pottery to granola to jerky to wine. It's a big space and laid out well. My husband and I ordered the breakfast sandwich for a whopping $16 that most places sell for half the price. It wasn't exceptional and just an overpriced bagel with egg, arugula, tomato, and a chipotle mayo. I ordered a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie for $6 that was tasty and buttery while he ordered the lemon olive oil cake for $6 that he liked. Customer service was downright awful. No greeting even when promoted by us by saying good morning and the 3 different people who helped us were unfriendly and unresponsive. I'm amazed they would employ and put them in front of customers. It was a total turnoff and the reason for such a low rating. It's the first thing patrons notice and a big reason if locals will return.

This was such a great find... I will certainly be back again and again. Many lovely places to sit outside next to the beautiful cathedral, a wonderful green space. As a vegan, there were not too many options but what I got was great: the hummus and red pepper toast, which came with vegan feta cheese, and earlier in the day I got the overnight oats, also very good, although the portion was a little small. Pics attached! Highly recommended

I've been here a few times now with friends and it's consistently great. Their botanical matcha is *chef's kiss* and the burrata and prosciutto plate makes my whole day. The service is solid, everyone is friendly and kind every single time I go. The employees genuinely seem happy to be there, which makes me think management is taking care of them. As a food service worker, I hope that the case. The staff is amazing! Also, I love how much seating there is! You can hang out in front of the café, inside, or out back. I love the options!

This place is definitely heavenly, stopped by yesterday morning for a cup of coffee with my husband. The place is beautifully decorated, the pastries all looked so good, we tried the pineapple coconut butter cake and a salted caramel latte and oh my goodness the flavors were so good, the latte was creamy and delicious. They have plenty of seating space and the cutest little market they have a huge wine and beer selection. Highly recommend this place

It's in the name! Heavenly! What a sweet surprise, a unique ambiance to a busy little town right outside of downtown Sd near balboa park. We came here while our kids had prom and we loved every moment. From the food, to the staff, the little store and even the drink section with wine and beer. Not to mention lots of health options! Price is reasonable and the food was delicious! One guy even came to give us a sample of their cheese (forgot the name) This place is special Can't wait for the breakfast Acia's!

What a beautiful gem we found in Bankers Hill! We stumbled upon Heavenly Bodega on a whim since we were already in the area, and we're glad we did. The food was great, with plenty of drink options including coffee, wine, and beer. There's plenty of seating, and the whole place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. Service is also great! Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

I made a reservation (just in case) because on a weekend you never know. Luckily, though, we arrived and there was plenty of available seating. My husband and I had our 10 and 5 year old with us and they easily accommodated us. It's a straightforward, but lovely menu that has a little bit for everyone. We enjoyed sharing a few plates and fresh oysters on the half shell. They do not have a kids menu, which was alright with us. Our daughter, who loves a good steak at 5 years old, enjoyed their pub steak and fries and shared a Mexican Coke with her brother. For my husband and I, we enjoyed sharing their beef tartare and to finish it off, a banana split. What we found so whimsical about Finca is their presentation. My husband and I really enjoyed exploring their menu and leaving room for a return visit soon. I couldn't recommend Finca more for anyone looking for a fun and casual dining experience with a lovely staff and unique take on traditional favorites.

The place is very small and even being there early, all the inside seats were already taken. We sat on the patio, which on a nice day would have been fine, but it was a cold and windy evening. We asked if they could turn on the heat lamps, but they said they were out of propane. It took probably 15 minutes for anyone to greet us after that. We were told we would get to try 4 or 5 champagnes. And while they were trying their best, it just took such a long time between pours, and we didn't end up trying all of them, as they ran out of at least one. They did compensate by pouring more of the others, but they just didn't seem ready for the group that was there. We ended up shoving our way to stand inside, as it was not pleasant outside. It was a really cute place, and they all seemed very nice, but if they are going to have events, they need to be much more organized and probably limited to a smaller number of people unless they can put more tables out in the lobby area. I had been excited to check it out, but left feeling that we didn't have a good experience.
