Very good healthy eats! The service was excellent as Andy was very helpful to guide through all the steps! There are plenty of seating within the restaurant. The restaurant might smell a bit more oily so would recommend to do take out if you don't want the oil smell to yuor clothes

When we got there we were told right away to go the screen and order from there, we were the only people. Later I saw other people who were able to order at the front, not sure why the staff didn't want to take our order. Ordered the AAA angus beef and was hoping the meat to be tender but it was very chewy. Not sure I would come back.

    New Superfoods rice option!

This organic purple rice option is impressive on my vegan bowl. I opted for organic hemp seeds to be sprinkled at the end instead of organic tofu. Was not an option however they did accommodate. *Ensure to ask for vegan side of the grill or you could taste the meat grilled before you.

When we want "fast-food" that feels more like restaurant quality, this is where we go. Similar in concept to a lot of "choose your own ingredients with rice or noodles" that you'd typically see in a food court, this place just goes the extra mile with fresh ingredients, a large variety of sauces, and freshly cooked in front of you on a large teppanyaki grill. With generous portions, I'm full on a regular or large bowl (the only real difference being that you get 50% more protein with the large) Last visit 8/30/2023 Regular bowl with tofu on noodles, Mongolian curry: milder for those averse to extreme spice, 4.25 stars Regular bowl with pork, on Jasmine rice: I normally get brown rice, but just wanted to try how Jasmine worked with the curry sauce. I get Big Shaun's mix (Thai Red Curry, Hunan, Coconut Lime Leaf), be warned it's a touch spicy. I tried the Korean Spicy sauce once, and that was too hot). But the Jasmine rice allowed for more of the curry flavour to show through. The pork in particular is really suited to Teppanyaki grilling. 4.5 stars Good Berry smoothie: basically a mix of berry slush and oj. Delicious, if not a bit pricy for such a small drink, but the $6 coupon (which actually came up at $6.70) made it much more palatable than the $9 price tag. 4.5 stars Overall 9/10, 4.5 stars Recommended: Everything we order Definitely cleaner tasting than fast food!

Loved the vibes the moment I walked in. It was bright, clean, and easy to order as the instructions were clear! Got 2 regular bowls, one with A.J's Mix (Teriyaki, Chipotle Coconut, And Hunan) and another with Young Savage Mix (Thai Red Curry, Hunan, And Spicy Korean). I loved how everything was super fresh, but I was unfortunately not a fan of the sauces. It didn't seem to mesh well and I think I'd likely try the basic flavours instead of the pre-built sauce mixes! Really enjoyed the two smoothies that we got, Good Berry and Mango Magic - super refreshing! I think this would be a great place for a post workout meal as everything they have is fresh, natural and highly nutritious!

Do you want to eat healthy and look SIZZLING HOT? Good Bowl in Richmond serves up a flavourful customizable healthy bowl of high quality proteins and fresh cut vegetables stir fried on a super sizzling hot flat grill with home made sauces. Add a smoothie or juice and an energy bite to create a full meal that will keep you satisfied throughout the day. The food in the bowl stayed extremely hot even after all the picture taking. We had friendly staff to answer our questions if you are unsure of how to order. The restaurant was very clean and modern looking. There is also free "street" parking. On the table: Regular Goodbowl - AAA Certified Angus beef. Kale, spinach, baby bok choy, cabbage, pineapple, bean sprouts, red onion, mushroom, carrots, corn, green beans, red pepper, cauliflower, zucchini, celery, broccoli, egg noodles. AJ's Mix (Teriyaki, chipotle coconut and hunan) Sesame seeds. Fresh squeezed juice 16 oz regular - Apple, carrot, orange, celery, pineapple.

Goodbowl is a great option for customizable bowls if you are looking for a healthier bite. The space is clean and spacious, the ingredients are visibly fresh, and the staff are incredibly polite (especially their store manager Gurpreet!). I had such a wonderful time dining here (been here on multiple occasions now) and would recommend: 1. Adding a fried egg to your bowl 2. Trying their smoothies, I prefer these over their juices! 3. Ordering their energy bites Love feeling good after having a good meal :)

Horrible, near inedible. Long 35-40 min. wait after paying/ordering. Complete disorganization. The vegies were past soggy over cooked. Out of green beans. Too much lemon grass ginger sauce, rice was saturated. (very sour after taste) Burnt taste of all the mushy vegs. (spinach, cauliflower, broccoli visibly burnt too) Worst bitter tasting dish, didn't have soya sauce when asked. Waste of $15 times 2 (companion's wasn't much better) Just gawd awful, never again.

Feels extremely healthy and there are vegetarian options for vegetarian lovers out there this definitely is an amazing spot. Although do ask for some salt so you can add on top. Taste extra delicious with that. The price is reasonable. Love the proportions of the meal. Customer service was amazing as well :).

Beef with wild rice. Two citrus sauces. Egg on top. Yummy.

Been twice. Fabulous service. Delicious. A great variety of options. Had veggie first time. Second time was the beef. Both cooked perfectly. Our new fave was place. Five stars.

I recently went to Metrotown with my kids and we were thrown into the throes of pre-Christmas mayhem in the mall. I knew it would be bad when the parking lot was a free-for-all with no spots to be had. But I digress. While wandering the mall corridors like zombies out of a bad Netflix movie, my kids suddenly claimed to be "starving". Of course. So we made our way up to the food court on the upper level and surveyed the options in front of us. It's never easy trying to accommodate both my kids, who have very differing preferences (one is vegetarian, too), and myself, but we all agreed to "eat healthy", and when we saw the long line-up at this U-Grill place, we decided to check it out. It was obviously the most popular food venue in the food court on the day we were there, and we figured there must be a reason it's so popular. They offered a ton of fresh vegetable and meat and seafood choices, as well as tofu and various rices, which you choose in raw form, and they essentially stir-fry it up for you, and then you choose what sauce you'd like on it. It's priced by weight, and there really are a ton of choices. I don't think you could find a healthier option here at in the food court. I like how they offered Coke products too (personal bias. I prefer it to Pepsi). Service wasn't friendly or non-friendly - just fast and efficient. They were super busy that day we were here, and we were glad they didn't chit chat with customers. Did I mention my kids were "starving"? lol. Despite the long line, it moved quickly and our meals were cooked perfectly and were great. This is the place to go to get a healthy and fast meal here. It's not cheap, but it's good.

They have ALL types of veggies from broccoli, zucchini, baby corn, green beans and my personal favorite mushrooms! They also have a variety of meats from teriyaki chicken, beef, crab, shrimp and also tofu. It also comes with your choice of white or whole grain rice. Good thing is the don't weigh the rice that comes on the plate after. My only complaint is it's quite expensive for "mall food". My partner and I each got our own plates and our total with only 1 water bottle was $39 and some change!!!! I did enjoy it and would go again but I'd be more careful on loading on those veggies which was the majority of my plate.

I rarely eat at all you can eat hot pot places…read morein general. -came on a weekday early afternoon with my friends. -happy lamb had a $19.99 happy hour all you can eat lunch special so we decided to try it out. -We selected the mushroom broth for our hot pot broth. Not a big fan of it. Tastes pretty plain in my opinion. Not bland by any means but it was just ok in terms of taste. -The meat was fine. It wasn't fatty. It tasted like any sliced hot pot meat you can get anywhere. There were lamb, beef, pork, and luncheon meat slices available for this menu. There was a small selection of seafood available as well. I didn't really like the cod paste siu mai. The texture was rubbery and the flavor wasn't that great. The fish tofu, fish roll, and fish balls were fine. They tasted like any other fish balls you can get anywhere. There was also a small selection of vegetables available. The Napa cabbage leaves and winter melon slices were fresh and big. No complaints on the vegetables. The sauce station was vast and everything you could possibly want was there. There were no lines and the station was clean. Some places like Big Way Hot Pot provide simple sauce recipes for beginners, but there were no suggestions here. It would be nice if they added some suggestions because i'm a newbie when it comes to sauce combinations. A very small selection of hot small plate appetizers were available too. They served as appetizers for the hot pot or something more solid in case you want a break from just eating hot pot foods. I wish there was a bigger selection though. For the appetizer buffet area, there were lamb bones with meat in some type of brown and red sauce, the classic vegetable spring rolls with sweet chili sauce, and deep fried mantou, which is basically a kind of crispy fried dough bread with condensed milk. They had a few cold vegetable appetizers like chinese Kelp salad which was slightly spicy, and wood ear mushrooms which were slightly sour. I didn't like either of them. Also, i noticed from past yelp reviews that customers were offered free ice cream. We were not offered any. I guess they discontinued that bonus. As for the service, I don't really have any problems with the service here. The staff were pretty good at refilling the water jug with sliced lemon even though it wasn't really empty. We didn't have to wait long at all for our hot pot ingredients. It all arrived within 10-15 minutes. One little hiccup was that we ordered udon but the staff gave us thin ramen noodles by mistake. Our server changed it to the correct udon noodles after we pointed it out. As for the place itself, it was pretty empty with a couple of solo eaters and a couple tables with families. The dining area was clean and roomy. We were seated at a booth by the window but the blinds were closed since the sunlight was too bright. Washrooms were tucked away far in the corner so it was a bit of a walk but they were clean, not too small, and empty. Overall i would give the food 3 out of 5 because nothing stood out to me. The food was just average all around. The service was fine, but the price was great at $20. In fact, I think $20 per person is by far the cheapest, best value all you can eat hot pot deal in the Vancouver area. So i'll give Happy Lamb Burnaby 4 out of 5 yelp stars overall because its a good value. This is the best bang-for-your-buck AYCE hot pot deal as long as you're okay with their average food quality.

Spicy was traditional Chinese spicy (so pretty spicy) but both are flavorful. The lamb and beef meats were good. The inside was nice and clean. They had a small buffet style section where you could grab toppings and certain side items. I guess they only put certain items out at a time and don't refill it when they run out. We ordered the Chinese Donut, as we got the last 2 in the buffet style area, but the guy came back and said they are all out. So it seems like they don't make more after a certain point. Parking seems a bit bad. We are not familiar with the area and planned to go to the nearby mall afterwards, so we ended up paying for parking at the mall across the street. From the looks of it, they only really have street parking available. We paid in advanced for the happy hour price before happy hour ended. That all being said, the service was subpar. It was okay at first, but then we ordered more meat and fast forward 20 minutes, it still had not come out. It the took a minute to find a flag down a worker, but we asked once again. It felt like only had 1 (maybe 2) actual server on the floor. We waited like 5 more minutes before ultimately just leaving. I'm not sure what happened since they were pretty empty (customer wise), but it heavily ruined the experience. If you go, I hope your experience is better!:)

FOOD The cost of entry is pretty low: $18.99 per adult for all-you-can-eat hot pot and it comes with: - As much beef and lamb as you would like. - Choice of clear water or chicken broth for soup. Anything else: other or better quality meats, other broth choices, vegetables, mushrooms, seafood, plum juice, etc, all costs extra. What's neat: - Wide range of selection for food. - Kids eat free (families - rejoice!). - The meat orders are filled quickly (unlike other AYCE places). - DIY sauce bar is decent. - The milk ice cream bar is authentic comes straight from Asia. - Private rooms offer individual burners: everyone gets their own small pot and choice of broth! Is there a downside? The self-serve buffet may seem small by comparison to other restaurants, only serving: - Three types of cake for dessert (mango, chocolate, vanilla/coconut). - Edamame - Peach slices and honeydew chunks. - Peanuts and chilli flakes. - (No hot foods or otherwise.) - It was all good - but you may or may not be wanting more. Oh...the beef slices seem a little on the fatty side compared to every other hot pot restaurant I've ever been to around the world - not a bad thing per se (you're boiling a lot off) but something interesting here - I presume likely to keep the costs down. === 3. SERVICE Wait staff appeared to speak Cantonese and Mandarin with some able to speak a little English (thankfully for me!). Despite the busy nature of the place, the ventilation works well - your clothes won't smell completely like hot pot on exit :). Wheelchairs and baby strollers would have no issue here. Parking is literally right outside in the expansive Lansdowne Centre parking lot.

Pro-tip from our server: They suggested ordering the 1/4 soup pots (four grids) to save money. I got the tomato broth and my friend got the pork broth. In my opinion, HDL still has the best tomato broth in the game! Just a heads-up that veggies and noodles are extra. In the end, we spent about $60 per person after eating seven orders of meat in total.
