JUSTIN AND HIS TEAM WERE GREAT! He was quick getting me a quote. Scheduled me in the next day. Had it done in 1/2 hour. I got 4 all terrain truck tires, installed, balanced for 2 dollars less then Costco tires best deal on similar tires. I look forward to buying my next set of tires from Justin. He is honest and ordered a mean set of Toyo all terrains. Gas mileage improved and my ride is smooth. Just like he said. Wow! Thank bro!

Can't tell you how important it was to get my tire fixed today. Folks depending on me tomorrow. Called 3 different tire repair shops with none offering same day service. Justin was kind and understanding. He stopped by and worked beyond his 3:30 scheduled day to find and remove an imbedded screw and plug the hole! Expertly and professionally. Tire gave out suddenly and Justin and crew made it so easy, within 24 hours of calling them they replaced a full set of tires that are not typically stocked in tire shops. From start to finish was 30 mins, it was like a chill formula pit stop. Literally pulled up to a crew ready to jam. I barely ordered and finished my breakfast. My wife came out the other day to find a flat tire. No need to fear, Justin is here! Having seen the truck around Kailua, my wife called 808 Mobile Tire Shop. Justin was there in literally 15 minutes and we were back in business moments later. Since our Toyota's tires were getting on in years, we ordered a full set from Justin who got them within two days. It took less than 30 minutes for Justin and his crew to change them all out. The price and service cannot be beat. Last time I needed new tires for my car, my dealer took weeks to get them and it required two service visits. Justin and his crew come to you! I was running errands before I had to go to a family wedding. I parked my car and got out to go into a shop. I saw something gray sticking out of my tire. It was a big screw. I had to be at the wedding in 3 hours!!!! I started calling tire shops asking if they could plug the tire. Everyone of them said they could but it would take all day. I was running out of time and the tire was losing air. I called 808 Mobile. It went to voicemail. I left a message saying I needed to get my tire plugged. Justin called me back in 5 minutes. I told him about the tire and the wedding. He said no problem. He asked if I could still drive the car. I said yes. He said meet me halfway to save sone time. I pulled into the parking lot he was waiting in. He looks at the tire and says he can plug it no problem! He takes out pliers and pulls out the screw. He puts in the tire plug. Then he poured water over the plug to make sure it wasn't leaking air. It wasn't! He said you're good!!!! I paid him cash. He wished me good luck and smile and said good bye. Justin is awesome!!!!!! He's my guy for fixing tires from now on! read more

Justin got me better tires than any of the competitors and at a lower price. Plus he doesn't try to upsell you, answers your questions straight and is easy to contact and deal with. Always calls you back right away. He installed the tires the next day and did everything exactly as he said he would. Came to my house right on time, dealt with my tricky driveway no problem and got the new tires installed in 30 min. Has a couple nice guys working with him. Justin is great! I found a slow leak in my tire, which turned out to be a 3 inch screw. Called Justin, explained my situation. He asked me if I wanted to do a plug or a patch, and provided the pros and cons. I ended up going with a patch. What would've taken hours with a normal shop, took minutes with Justin. Friendly, professional, and quick. If I have any problems in the future, I'll definitely be using 808 Mobile Tire Shop! read more

I needed new tires for my car and a coworker recommended 808 Mobile Tire Shop. I called Justin and he was so friendly and helpful on the phone. It was so convenient! I got to clean my house and my kids played at home rather than waiting around an auto shop. He brought his tire truck right to the house and had them done in about an hour. I needed all new tires for my minivan that wasn't going to cost me $800 or more, which I was quoted at other tire shops. Got all new tires today for less than $630 and the work was done on my driveway! The actual service here is okay (not great), but they're fairly proficient in expediting the service, once they get to it. One thing that shocked me, was how much the showroom degraded. It used to be a rather clean and convenient place to relax in the past (for a tire service shop). I can't believe they let the floors get this bad. They were covered with dirty scuff marks, and they removed the little coffee table, and the TV wasn't working. Just from a business standpoint, as a customer, when I see how dirty the sales showroom is, it makes me wonder how much care they put into their actual repair service. I'm glad I'm just here for a safety check.

Naturally, I thought I'd bring my second car in the very next day to get its safety check done as well. Despite having just dropped over $500 with them less than 24 hours prior, I was completely turned away and told they wouldn't take me as a walk-in for just an inspection. It leaves a really bad taste in your mouth--it feels like they are only willing to magically find the time to "squeeze you in" if you're spending big money on parts and labor. Loyalty and returning business clearly don't mean much here. It's a shame, because I was ready to make this my go-to shop for both of my vehicles, but they just lost a returning customer over a basic safety check.

I brought my vehicle and the Firestone invoice to TENN'S on Keolu Drive for a second opinion. They correctly diagnosed the issue as two leaking power steering hoses, which they promptly replaced. My steering is now perfectly normal with no leaks. Furthermore, TENN'S inspected my coolant system and realized Firestone had failed to refill the antifreeze after flushing it. TENN'S pressure-tested the system and correctly topped off all fluids. I am sharing my experience in this post to prevent others from being misled into paying for poor or unnecessary services.

Tenn's absolutely saved the day for me! I originally took my car to the Firestone on Hamakua Drive…read morefor a power steering fluid change ($449) and a radiator coolant exchange ($148). When I got home, I noticed power steering fluid leaking onto my carport and saw the fluid level was at the absolute minimum. I went back to Firestone, and they told me they hadn't actually changed the fluid, but rather replaced a leaky hose. They then claimed the low fluid was due to a bad power steering pump and quoted me an additional $900 to replace it. It just didn't sound right, and I felt they were being dishonest. I took my car to Tenn's for a second opinion and showed them the Firestone invoice. Tenn's quickly found the real issue: two entirely different power steering hoses were leaking. They replaced them, and now my steering is perfect with zero leaks. On top of that, Tenn's inspected my coolant system and found both the radiator and reservoir levels were dangerously low because Firestone failed to properly refill the antifreeze after their flush. Tenn's pressure-tested the system and topped off the fluids for me. Mahalo to Tenn's--they are honest mechanics you can actually trust!

Did my lift here years ago, also this event happened years ago. (review is very late, but started…read morethinking as I saw ads for them on Facebook regularly, people need to be aware of their practice) apparently they didn't tighten the steering knuckle lower 2 bolts on my Tacoma, clearly before I left I saw a thread sticking out on the lower control arm bolts, didn't say anything as I'd thought they'd honor their work, and thought they possibly even messed up the threads on that bolt that was loose which is why it didn't go all the way in, (as a mechanic I'm not going to touch something I'm afraid will break which would turn to my fault, liability is pretty important in the automotive service industry) they reassured me before I left that everything was perfect even though the skid plate wasn't installed as well until I said something, then within less than 6000 miles down the road and within less than a 6 month period, lower control arm came loose and went straight to the floor, took it back to them with a tow truck and they charged me for the labor to replace a lifetime warranty part from rough country as well as a CV axle that got damage due to collateral damage from the bolt coming loose. Clearly they didn't tighten the bolt with their response as "we loctite everything" well loctite only goes a long way when the bolt is torqued with a torqued wrench. A real shop would've comp everything and own up to their mistake and repair it for free due to technician negligence. But that didn't happen, rather just down another couple hundred dollars, around $800-1,000 to fix their mistake. But I mean the lifetime part was free which was great, one company at least honored something. Never coming back here again, neither will ever be involved with this shop ever again. Still have my receipt and can easily warranty stuff yourself on rough country website. Wasn't going to argue with these guys in person as they're pretty intimidated and aggressive when you put them on the spot. So it's easier to result in online reviews and let people know their practice as they're also firm with whatever they say with no room for talk or solution unless I'm guessing legal action is taken or a harsh review is made. On this Sunday morning they don't have many oil changing places that are open unfortunately and honestly didn't think it was necessary to visit a gas station and was happy to have found NAPA on Hekili Street which we all pretty much frequent and knowing that they have this huge lot to park was so comforting as I enter to seek help with my dilemma. OMG I completely forgot this kind gentleman who works there as he searched to find what oil would work best for my car and how much needed to fill was very nice and he did it all for me as well. Showing me the oil dipstick and how to read it was easy and good to know and once it's all filled I was good to go and for such a great price versus going to a mechanic. Self care doesn't end with me but my ride who takes me places that makes me happy and errands that keeps me going and with NAPA and their staff which definitely did a great service I'm so grateful and thankful it got me on my way. Justin went way above and beyond to help out a fellow business owner. My service truck had two balding front tires and a rear tire that had its treads separating from the rest of the tire. This is the kind of tire that blows out on the freeway leaving pieces of tire all over the road. I gave him a call and he was here in the morning after explaining my options as far as tire choices. He came out past his normal service area to replace 4 tires, balance them, and get me back on the road safely. This all happened in about an hour. No need for me to drive to a shop. Especially in these times, me driving to a shop and and being in a waiting room is a no go. Not happening. Furthermore, his prices were comparable to me going to a shop considering that he came to me and got it done right in front of my driveway. I will definitely call him again should I need new tires. Need tires or any kind of tire repair? Call Justin Clevenger! I was stressing out when I found out my tire couldn't be repaired yesterday evening and it being a Sunday, everyone closes early made my life harder. Looked online and the estimated cost for 1 tire was $300 did more searching and found Justin's website and called him right away. He was awesome! Me being not so tire literate he helped me understand and explain in detail. He called me first thing this morning with an estimate of $180 which was awesome but that's not all. I had a slow leak and told a plug was $10. An hour later, I was charged $26 ($1 dollar tax) because the guy said a patch was better. He didn't give me the option to make that decision. After running a whole bunch of potholes after this Kona Low storm, I have a slow leak again in one of my tire. Not sure if it can be repaired (I was putting air every day), I brought my spare new tire. My thinking was if the tire cannot be plugged or patched, I will have them replace with my own tire. The guy working could not find the leak (he had informed me that they are now charging $35 for a patch now) so he suggested I change out my tire. I agreed. I asked him if the price was still $25 since they had increased their price for a patch. He said they charge $25 for the dismount, mount and balance service. I told him I will take my old tire back. Before he put my tire back, he wanted me to pay and the invoice says $35. I told him he charged me the wrong price. He said the additional $10 was for tire disposal. But I was taking my tire back. He said they charge the additional $10 no matter what. Although the $10 is not a lot of money, it's the principle behind this. They advertise $25 patch and $25 for change-out tire service, but when you get there, you realize it's a bait and switch tactics. I will never going to use their service no more.

One poured water on it and confirmed it was okay. Being professionals I believed them and thanked them for their time. I drive uber so passenger safety is very important to me. I go to my vehicle this morning and that tire is completely flat. I immediately gave praise that the tire did not blow out while I was driving passengers the night before. I called and spoke to someone and told them I was the guy that came in and told him what happened. Guy could care less, told me he could put a new one one for 135 bucks. Not sure why selling a tire is more important than the safety of other people. Luckily called Pono tire, they had a used one, got me in immediately. Their technicians looked at the flat and said it was a deep gash and should not have been driven on. Very unsafe. I'm disappointed in the lack of professionalism and common courtesy from Mike's. Have some accountability, its not difficult to apologize for a mistake. Im very happy the tire was flat when I got to the vehicle and did not blow out while driving passengers on the highway today.
