I've been bringing my cars here since last august, and never had an issue. The lady at the counter is very helpful, and for once I took the warranty she recommended on new tires- I'm glad I did because I blew out two of them on a deep pothole at 3 AM two weeks later. The warranty was 35 per tire, but the replacement would be free. Well that saved me 550 dollars due to having a low-pro sport tire. So I'm grateful for that- anyways, the alignment tech here is great, he's good with sports cars, doesn't abuse them, and I had all my worries taken care of. I came in for an oil change, check engine light, and two new tires. Other things were 'discovered' and there were things I didn't even ask to have done (air ventilation cleaning service ~$80, 3 year alignment program ~$150, etc), and Chuck Otte wanted me to change out my spark plugs (just changed them out, and he was going to do it strictly because of my mileage...not because he checked them), my cabin air filter (which I changed out same time as my plugs), and finally I said, "Tell me the things that are safety concerns, not just maintenance based on mileage." My bill totaled $1300, and still there were things I didn't need. I might add...I had planned for a one hour (max) situation, and got there at 7:15am on Saturday to make sure it happened that way. Ended up staying there till 9 with my 18 month old daughter, who was brought up by my wife who had to go to work. I finally got them to take me home in the Goodyear Van. I called them at 1pm...car wasn't ready "Axle should be here by by 3." *I called them* at 3:30...axle wasn't there yet. *I called them* at 5...the wrong axle had been sent. I got my car home, parked in my driveway, and the next day I noticed a fresh puddle of oil. Because of work, I couldn't take it in until Tuesday. Took it in, turns out now a gasket is bad. Chuck Otte told me, "Gasket will be here by 3:30." I told him, "Okay, I have to leave by 4 to go to South Austin for a meeting. Will it be ready by then?" "Should be." *I CALL HIM* at 3:30... "They sent the wrong gasket," he says. I told him I was taking my wife's car to South Austin, and would be in a meeting until about 6pm. He called me at 5:15 telling me to call him back. He ended up telling me the gasket was sent to the wrong Goodyear, and my car wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. I told him I needed to drive to College Station tomorrow. Long story short, my wife ended up having to drive the van, then I took her car to CS. The van was not a car she was used to, and she felt nervous driving our baby in it, though I'm sure the van itself is safe. She was then told it would be ready this morning. She had to call them (go figure) to get a status update. Turns out the gasket got put on, but the axle that was supposed to arrive today had (shockingly) been sent to a Goodyear in Kyle (Chuck Otte told my wife it was Kyle, but he told me it was Budah). He said my car would be ready in "1 to 2 hours." That would have been 4pm at the latest. My wife called them at 3:45 asking if the car was ready. They said no, they were waiting on the axle. She told them to put the gasket on, and she would be picking it up at 4. When she got there, they said the axle just arrived. She said we weren't interested in doing business with them anymore. I work in an industry where a person's word is his or her reputation. Chuck Otte could not keep his word with us, and failed to keep an open line of communication with us, and I wasn't expecting a whole lot. However, when timelines given are not kept...I would like an update as to why. I do not recommend them. I would give zero stars if possible. read more

If you need minor maintenance done don't go to this shop! I had a traverse that needed two tires replaced and tires roadster (and wipers and headlights replaced). They charged me $350 just to replace the headlights and wipers. Then after rotating the tires, they handed my vehicle back without balancing the tires or even telling me they did not balance them. So as I'm driving down the road my car starts vibrating. I took it back and they wanted another $85 to balance the tires for a car they just worked on. Take you car to a place like Discount Tire where balancing service is included and they don't nickel and dime you to death! Won't come back here again.... bad decision on my part. read more

I had a bad experience there the other day. I had a nail in my tire and I took it in to get it fixed. The guy comes back and tells me that it's not repairable due to where the nail was, it wasn't on the side or anything. They wanted me to buy a new tire and I just didn't have the funds at the time. I took my car home and the next day went to discount tire, they fixed it right up and didn't even charge me. I felt as though they were only pushing me to buy a new tire and didn't want to just repair it at Goodyear so I do not recommend. read more

I've come to this place with a couple of different vehicles for alignments, had a water pump replaced, and my friend had their major a/c leak fixed. The prices have been better or par to their competitors but their quality of service has been very notable. From the service manager to the technicians, everybody seems to be straight forward / honest. I was waiting forever just for a diagnostic for my windshield washers. It was going to cost me $250 just for the spray nozzle and a bracket. I can do it myself for probably $50. And when they said that it was finished the car was still being worked on. They had forgotten about me and hadn't even started working on my car until I had to come up there and say something. If you are needing repair and are thinking about going here please don't. Save your money and either do it yourself or go somewhere else. read more

STAY AWAY I spent over $1000 getting an oil leak fixed, as well as a few other misc things. Less than 100 miles later, and I have the very same oil leak. I took it to another shop, and they found it coming from something completely different than these guys, and what do ya know, the leak is fixed now. Not only that, Goodyear told me I'd need to get some new bushings for about $500, but I thought I'd get that done another time. I had my new shop take a look at those to get a second opinion, and they said they're fine. Absolutely do not need to replace them. I wish I had seen the other reviews on here before going to this shop because as others have said, these guys are crooks. I wouldn't trust them with an oil change. Unfortunately I don't live near them anymore, or any other Goodyear location, or I'd take my receipt in and try to get some money back. Though I'm sure I wouldn't get very far. Went in because my headlight went out. I signed an agreement of $55.00 diagnosis which I was told would be waved if it was something simple. Well it was simple. There was a blown fuse and a bulb. Easily replaced in less five minutes.They handed me a bill that was north of $100.00. However They did reduce slightly when I pushed back saying it was absurd. The Labor charge was $86.65. I don't understand this business practice. Sure the company needs to be profitable but gouging a first time customer who won't return seems counterintuitive. I will say the service was fast and friendly and they were open on Sunday which is a plus. For tires I would go around the corner to Discount Tires. I had best service I've probably ever experienced there. UPDATE: Got a quote from Mister oil change. $29.95 to change a headlamp. Goodyears was nearly 400% higher. Lady at front desk made dealing with this location more difficult than any other location I've ever dealt with. I made a 10 am appointment for an oil change and rotate balance. She told me I didn't need to balance my tires unless I felt a vibration or a weight has fallen off which is false I used to work in a tire shop. She made me get my license number when she had it in the system. Asked for my mileage instead of getting it herself like they usually do. Refused to enter my work order because she needed to check with my fleet company if I was eligible for an oil change when she had my last oil change in the system. Didn't know it's every 5k miles for an oil change. Waited on the phone with customer service to ask them if I was eligible for an oil change when she had my last mileage and could have checked the oil change sticker on my windshield. Why would I be here if I didn't need an oil change? Car was pulled in 25 min after my appointment do not come here. She is now complaining that people are coming in too early for their appointments. We took my wife's Infinity in because the service engine light came on. The people at THIS Goodyear Service center gave us the best service, with a honest estimate and quick turn around. They also fixed some items that were in need of repair but only after calling us for permission. They did some of the repairs at a more economical cost because some of the labor to do the repairs was required to facilitate a few of the other repairs. This allowed them to give us a even more economical repair cost. They more then exceeded our expectations. This was our first repair by this location because they have only been open for a year. Took our Jeep here about 8 months ago. $800 later it still wasn't repaired properly. Had to take it back twice. Now getting an oil change and found that they stripped our drain plug. The gentleman at Jiffy Lube said it looked like a "hack job". Don't take your car here unless you want people who have no clue what they are doing. read more

If I could give ten stars, I WOULD! I desperately needed four new tires for my car, and called in just to make sure I wouldn't be waiting forever. I was helped on the phone and had everything explained to me and an extra discount added for calling in. I showed up a little early for my appointment and my car was up in the air within a matter of minutes! My tires had been swapped within an hour or so, and while it was up in the air the tech noticed that my back shock was blown on the right, and the left didn't look too far behind. Obviously they needed to be swapped and I was given an incredibly fair price! My car was back up, the part was delivered (a good quality set of shocks), and the rear shocks installed in under 45 minutes- and I walked out with a total price tag well under $1k. I was so so impressed by the service, quality, and time management of this team. They've made a new customer for life! read more

My sister went in to have her oil changed and tires rotated. They put all new tires on without asking and attempted to charge her over $750 for it. When they put the old tire back on they also broke one of the chrome lugnuts in this fiasco. Someone there is not doing their job. read more

Been to this location twice now, once for an oil change/tire rotation only and the second time for a new back tire and oil change. Both times I've waited about 45 minutes, pretty average wait time. All prices and total cost was explained up front before agreeing and signing for service. If you get either of the 2 highest cost oils it includes a free tire rotation. The manager is very nice and explains everything and updates you with any issues or info during service. The tires I looked at online, that were specific to my car, said one tire would be $220. I don't know if he gave me a deal or if they had a less expensive tire in the store but my cost was only $160. Like every place they try to up sell you on services but that's their job and you can either take it or leave it. I will continue using this Goodyear location. read more

They stated that my tires were rotated and they were not how do I know this because a plug that I had in my tire was still in the same space. My husband called and spoke with the manager on duty and they did not even apologize or offer for us to bring it back in so they were so they could do it. Had to go to this location because i had a flat tire and this was the closest place to my house. Got there at 9:00 am and it took over 2 hours for them to just 1 flat tire.
