I was stranded in an RV, 3 hrs from home with a bad battery. AAA jumped it but they couldn't replace it because the terminal was corroded almost completely off and they said it was too dangerous to drive it home! Almost no shop was open and those that were wouldn't help because it was an RV. Its a class C with a Ford van in the front and it was only a battery and cables but they still wouldn't help me; this Goodyear did. Marisol went out of her way to get me in the next morning and assured me I wouldn't have to spend another night in a parking lot. Gregg worked very hard cutting my cable off the corroded connector and getting it to work with the new one so I could get on the road to go home. UPDATE: I decided to edit my first post after receiving a sincere apology and receiving a discount on service. I'm going to chalk this up to a misunderstanding of expectations. Next time I will try to be more specific when asking how long an oil change will take. I made an appointment for an oil change. I was about 10 minutes late to my appointment so I must take blame for that but I still had over an hour and a half wait for just an oil change. The people are nice, but if you do not plan on leaving your car all day consider using someone else. They are also very misleading on the phone as I did request to know what their wait time was before making the appointment. So I dropped my car off on Saturday about 12:30p. I had put the spare on and my left rear tire had a flat due to a screw. I get a call saying they don't have the tire in stock and it wouldn't be until Monday before it could be repaired. No problem. I go to pick up my car this morning (Tuesday) and the lady at the desk says Mr Williams we gotcha covered two tires repaired. I said no I only asked for one tire. I said maybe they are thinking about the spare that was on the car. She said no we installed two new tires. I'm on why when I only asked for (1). Then she says oh that's right the repair tech was trying to pull your car into a bay and ran into the machine and punctured your front left tire. I have to say, since COVID, i have been very saddened about the customer service at ANY place. But, this place has made me have faith in GREAT customer service again!!! Renee', the Service Manager great start to finish! But, first, let me start with my first contact (which did not get to meet, but want to thank so much), SHAWN! Talked to him first on Thursday to get quote on 4 new tires for my husband's car. He had a flat on one (which he replaced with spare) and others were "going". I had already called around to other places, and shocked about how much they cost, as my husband had this "special size" tires. He worked with me, and found tires in my price range, and ordered them for me. So, Saturday morning when we got there first thing in the morning, we were greeted with the smiling face of Renee'! She got our process started. We told her we needed an oil change and driver's side headlamp replaced. She would call us when ready. While we were out shopping, she called and told my husband he needed brake pads too, just on front, back ok. These were original to car, so knew we needed them done. Also, his windshield wipers, just in front, were done (which I had told him for awhile they needed replaced). We said to go ahead, and do it all. We knew it was going to take awhile as when we got there, it was getting busy. We came back and picked up car in afternoon, and Renee', still smiling. Got him all processed. Now, my car needed an oil change as well, so dropped off mine. She called and told me, I too needed brakes, which I knew, as mine was original to my car, and last mechanic told me I was going to need soon, so not a surprise, so I said to go ahead. We had lunch and just as we finished, Renee' called and said my car was done! Now, late afternoon, when we got there, Renee' was still smiling when we arrived. She "put up with my husband's jokes" and could not believe, for what I am assuming from what we saw earlier, a VERY BUSY Saturday, she was sooo nice! She explained all the warranties we got with everything we got, and patient with all of our questions. This last visit there were new faces and I was unsure of what to expect. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. My husband called to see if they had a battery and could fit us in for an unscheduled battery replacement and oil change. Mohammad Yusuf asked for the license plate number and confirmed they had a battery in stock, and time to do an oil change. Never going back. I dropped off my car and was told it would be done in about 3-4 hours so I called after 4 hours and they said the machine was down and it wasn't ready. I asked if it was still getting done today because if not I will go somewhere else since I was going out of town the next day and needed it done. The guy then said they could do it since the machine was getting fixed and would call me when it's done. Never called. Luckily I called an hour before they closed and they were "shocked" I didn't know it wasn't going to be done. After I explained what was told to me previously, Mohammad assured that they could get it done and will be able to use the machine although it would be an OSHA violation. I picked up my car 30 minutes later.. I doubt they even did anything to it and will be taking my care somewhere else from now on. read more

I got a screw on my tire on a Sunday afternoon. There wasn't anything open around Georgetown area so I found this place. Called them ahead and stopped by. In under 15min the screw had been removed and I was driving back home. Excellent service, fast, no attempt to sell me anything, and didn't break the bank. Totally recommend this place. read more

Went in to get my brakes checked. There was no one in the front office. Had to find a lady in a back room, and when she saw me she looked at me like I didn't belong at all. She was very rude through the entire interaction. I told her my vehicle situation, asked if they could help, and she said "not today" and went back to what she was doing. TERRIBLE customer service. i got a nail in my tire and my dude checked it out & aired it up and put my donut on for me, told me to get it patched in meantime while I look for new tire. took my tire over to good year since I live across the street. They told me the nail in my tire was not the cause of my flat and that my tires are 6 years old (even though I bought them 3 years ago right before my move out here) they told me the nail wasn't the cause of my flat and that my tires are old. I told them ok I will go elsewhere for tires, I know they are old and I'm needing new ones. The woman in the front immediately gave me attitude and interrogated me asking me where I was going to get my tires if I wasn't going to buy them there. I told her my boyfriend knows of a place with good prices and she kept asking me where. Well I just asked them to put my tire back in my trunk and put the donut back on for now please and went on my way. A couple weeks later I went over to Discount Tires for my front two new tires. EXCELLENT customer service/ wonderful experience. When I got my tires back the tech had noted that my hubcap was missing off of my wheel. they had checked my trunk and didnt see it. well no hubcap is a bit of an eyesore and something I would notice and my man would notice if it was missing when he was putting my donut on. I called GoodYear and let them know what had happened and asked if they could check around in their garage to see if anyone had found a hubcap. I spoke to a gentlemen Named "Shawn" on the phone and he was so rude and gave me so much attitude when I was just calling to see if they had found something of mine that was missing after being there. Shawn asked me what the hubcap looks like and I told him it's a Nissan hubcap.. he then tells me well "what does it look like I need to know what I'm looking for" Again... it's a Nissan hubcap. says Nissan on it.. Shawn proceeds to tell me the only reason they would remove my hubcap was if they were working on my tire and I went elsewhere for my tires so it wasn't possible. Well, Shawn put me on hold to go check the garage like I had politically and kindly asked, and sure enough he comes back to the phone to tell me under his breath "yea we found a nissan hubcap" I said excuse me can you speak up? He says "we found a nissan hubcap you can come see if it fits" . I can come see if it fits? Lol My man and I drive over there to retrieve said hubcap, upon entering Goodyear we got no greeting, no hello. I'm assuming the guy at the counter was the same guy on the phone, I said "hi I called about my Nissan hubcap.." he says NOTHING, goes and grabs the hubcap and hands it to me. I came here today with my young daughter for an oil change, and it was a good experience. We waited a little less than an hour even though they were pretty busy, and they had a little table for kids so my daughter sat there and played with her toys. The place was really clean and they had an area for guests to get water and coffee. This will definitely be my new regular place for oil changes. read more

I did have a flat at 4:30 PM, and couldn't get my car towed to them before they closed, which was my only disappointment, yet that isn't their fault I found a flat after leaving work. Over promises and under delivers Made reservation online for repairing an apparent tire leak. Also requested an oil change that also promised a free tire rotation. Threw in a free battery and brake inspection too. Received confirmation by email and a nice overview of how contact zero contact service works. Reality: On arriving called store from parking garage. A worker came out and talked with me through the open passenger side window. He did not wear a mask. Being a physician I am acutely aware of how this virus spreads - talking to customers without covering nose and mouth are a No No. What was more bothersome the worker had no clue why I was there- it's like that online booking was never looked at. Fast forward a few hours. No phone call received so I call them. A gentleman states car has been ready. Pay by credit card, arrive at parking lot and pick up car. No evidence of tire rotation done (My tires marked) or the other requested checks as no mention on work done receipt. Interior sanitized? Likely not!! read more

I've been talking my car to this Goodyear for a couple years now after they fixed the mistakes of another shop made. Mechanic's are great, have always done great work. I recently spent a little over $1400 here fixing a couple tires, buying a new tire, alternator, and battery. Which was definitely a process over 2 weeks to find and order the correct tire, they didn't return phone calls and didn't take me (21 year old female) seriously and didn't have a tire for me until my dad called them. after I got my car back I realized they failed to put my car back together correctly which has happened before even at my dealership (it's just a plastic panel that sits under my car) I called a few days ago around 12 when the front desk lady Rene told me to just bring it in that day. Arrived to their shop about and hour or so later.(45 minute drive from my house) When Rene tells me that she just doesn't have a bay open anymore and I'll need to come back tomorrow. So I left the shop and went to my parents house to get my mother (she's a part-time Karen) once my mother and I arrived back at the shop suddenly they can get me in today. I asked them to call when it was ready and I'd be back today to pick it up then never called and my car was left unlocked over night out front. Extremely frustrating and annoying. Avoid. Brought my car in to fix one thing and suddenly I'm shown a 4K bill. If there's one thing you want your mechanic to be, that's honest. Let me explain why these guys are not. They don't ask you when you last brought the car in or when you last had maintenance. They go by the textbook recommended maintenance which IMO is ridiculous, because if you're there for the first time they have no idea what history your car has been through. What you had fixed last etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying these guys are mean or disrespectful: the people were nice. But they don't quite know how to explain things properly and don't quite get that you're not there to spend thousands of dollars for simple repairs. Place is run like a money machine. I know it is going to be a good experience as there is a Subaru Impreza "turbo" and a VW Golf GDI "turbo" parked in the employee parking lot. In addition the store manager, Chuck, has a Subaru Crossfit. And yes I have a Subaru Legacy GT with 250 horsepower turbo:) As soon as I pull into the garage area all the "techs" notice that my Subbie has a turbo and then we start talking about sports cars. Shout out to Sam, Jacob and Christian who worked on my car. I was in to have my oil changed and upgraded to the oil/synthetic blend which included FREE tire rotation service. Also had the techs install newer Sylvania Xenon light bulbs for the front along with replacing both the inside cabin air filter and the outside engine air filter. While I was here I decided to have them remove the old antifreeze and put in new antifreeze. Very efficient service and clean service bay area. George is the service manager and checked in with his techs to see how things were going. This is my first experience with using Goodyear Auto Service Center. I chose them because they are two miles away and I wanted to keep the biz local. Those who may be reading this who have "sport cars" might want to consider them for your next car maintenance issues. DO NOT TRUST GOODYEAR IN LEANDER WITH YOUR CAR!! I had a screw in my tire, I called them to see how much it would be to patch it, and they told me they would patch my tire for free, so I went to them. They told me that the tire had a slow leak and that it was not repairable and that I needed to buy a new tire for $230. I took it Firestone Leander for a second opinion. Firestone took the screw out and said that the screw did not puncture the tire and they checked it with soap and water and there were no bubbles. I did not have to replace the tire or get it patched! I walked out of Firestone Leander not having to pay a dime! I called Goodyear back to give them the benefit of the doubt, and they stood by their claim and they told me that their mechanic said he checked the tire and that it had a slow leak and he saw bubbles and that it was not patchable either and I would need a new tire. (However, The mechanic never took the screw out of my tire, so they lied to me on the phone and I didn't need a new tire and it would have been patchable if my tire was punctured). I WILL NEVER go there again and I don't want anyone else to be scammed to replace anything that is unnecessary!!!!! read more
