I ordered a tire online and made an appointment for installation. Should have been easy. But no! When I got there they said I shouldn't have been able to order that tire online. After 30 minutes of talking with Reuben and someone on the phone they had to refund the tire and I had to repurchase. Reuben was very helpful. So the repurchase was done and I was told they would get my car right in. Well that didn't happen! My car sat in the lot for 20 minutes. Once in the garage it has taken a long time. So a quick installation took over 90 minutes. read more

Crooks - refused to rotate tires (purchased there ) because they said there was a nicking one sidewall and it was a liability for them to touch the tires. Wanted me to buy two new tires. Had them rotated elsewhere 15 minutes later with no issues. I had Been going there for years with multiple cars / spent thousands of dollars there and have seen them try this on other customers as well. The upsell tactics they use are basically illegal. Telling you they can't sell two tires and forcing people to buy in pairs. They refused to service my car today !! The place was dead, no one else in the shop. It's a joke. They lost my business today. And oh PAULETTE the employee at the desk is non professional. Very poor customer service. Will be telling everyone to run away from this place. Never again ! read more

Dont do it to yourself not worth it. There are good Goodyears but this isnt one of them and we have lots of other good places in/around Lynn that deserve your business. . Circus leader Mazeo proves good management is hard to find right now. oil change appointment 3pm fri, told to pic up sat. wut? waited til 10am sat, told me they would call me wen ready? nope. giv my keys. Circus leader said quit yellin at my employee? thats called TONE by the way (and not a happy one and u wonder why?) he said I didnt say please? u must b on the spectrum.Told him will take up with Goodyear he yells at me, ill b here years after ur gone! Listen to the other reviews. The service here is horrible. I scheduled an oil change for 2 pm and said that I would wait with the car when making the appointment. I arrive a little early for my appointment and I'm told that they have one other walk in so I will have to leave the car and they will try to have it done by 4 or 5 pm or the end of the day. Ridiculous. Why make appointments if walk ins come first? Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else for service. read more

I brought my car in for one new rear tire. The tire was flat after 2 weeks. I called and asked what my options were and was told I would need to bring the tire down for inspection. I had to manually take the tire off the car and drive it there in another car. Upon taking the tire off I noticed it was only secured with 3 Lugnuts not 5. One of the missing lugnuts was stripped and the other the bolt was cut in half. I explained my situation to the dealership and was told I had to pay another 22.50 for the insurance on the tire even though it was 1 month old and that after the new tire is on I would have to put it back on my car myself and drive it back on 3 lugnuts to have the 2 broken lugnuts fixed. I did just that and received a call that they were going to charge me 185 to fix the broken lugnuts because they refused to take responsibility even though they were the only ones to touch the car! The manager then told me he is NOT dealing with me and that is boss is on vacation. Terrible service. On a side note the front desk girl called me 'honey' over and over again after I told her my name numerous times. So disrespectful. She also forgot who I was after explaining the situation at length the day before. On my second visit a man at the desk was plugging in some info into the computer and told me I have to wait while he finishes up so not to lose his place. That took 10 minutes of me standing there staring at him!! Never again will I go to this place. BEWARE! read more

Mixed feelings about this place: on a positive side the manager (Mickey) called me personally prior and day after to make sure everything is Ok and thanked me for the business. On a negative side they told me that the vehicle needs $1500.00 worth of bushings and crap and they would give me a discount should I go ahead and purchase it. I took the car to the dealership today and the dealerships mechanic told me that the car is fine and "drives nice" thank you. The logical conclusion is that while having very nice manager is helpful, lying your way in the business is not. I don't think I will be back. read more

Thought I had a nail in my tire so I was looking for a place to get it checked out. Called a few places late Saturday afternoon. Was turned down by two other places because they were 'too busy'. Luckily Goodyear made time for me! I didn't know but it's awesome that checking the status of a tire and repairing it is FREE! I was in and out in under 45 minutes as well! Very friendly and professional staff. The only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5 is that they should invest to do some paint touch ups in the waiting area. The waiting area is very basic, a few chairs and magazines in a one large room and a medium sized TV in the corner, weirdly far away from the central waiting area. Definitely plan to go back if I ever need to get my tires checked again! read more

Made an appointment for noon today, to mount and balance 4 snow tires. Got there at 11:30, they took my car right in. They noticed a scrape on one of my brand new wheels and even offered to touch it up for me at no charge. They said the car would be ready in about 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunately i had a very bad experience at this center. My cell phone and GPS were both stolen from my vehicle as my husband waited for them to change all 4 tires on our vehicle. I was basically told that "there is nothing we can do . How can you prove we took your stuff" I was infuriated because i had just used my GPS earlier that day . My cell phone was charging in the car and it also disappeared. I would not recommend this store to anybody . Not responsible at all. No action taken. I was trying to prove that I will get a good service from a company that we trust , I ended up wasting hours of my time. good year in Lynn is a very big name with a weak sevice. They could not fix my car alignment after going there for 2 times and they sent me to another good year because somebody was about to take a vacation. This place offers the best price in town. I needed a new tire and went to every tire center in Lynn, and finally came back here because of the prices. The service was quick except the oil change that took about an hour comparing to 20 minute service at the other place. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. It's the name everyone trusts because it's a big name. But the staff is a bunch of inconsiderate, ignorant morons. Every. Single. Time. I go there for an oil change, they call me back an hour after I drop off my car, saying I need over $1,000 in repairs from new batteries, cleaning my headlights, fixing my license plate illuminatiors, all these things I don't need. I consistently tell them ALL I WANT IS AN OIL CHANGE, and they still insist on telling me that I need more things fixed. Well, when I have the money and I'm concerned with those things, THAT'S when I'll come in for that. When a customer wants an oil change, that's what you do. You don't need to notify him of every tedious little issue. Every time I walk in to the reception area, I wait a minimum of 10 minutes without being addressed. They're out in the garage fooling around. There's no bell to ring for their attention. They just make me wait. The only reason I go to this place is because it's so close to my home, I can drop my car off and walk home, instead of waiting for an oil change to be done. Because on a dead, not busy day it takes them 2 and a half hours. Also, they are MAJORLY overpriced. All these little service charges on TOP of paying labor. $3 for throwing a tire away. $17 charge for them putting a new one on. $80 for a basic tire. So go here if you like waiting for service, and want to be notified if your license plate illuminatiors are out. That's a VERY important thing to have. read more

Drove my car there this morning with a flat tire and they told me a minimum of three hours to fix it. Sorry. Had a flat tire and a two year old with me and was basically told I was sol. Called Sullivan tire on the lynnway and they said come on in. We'll fix it up. read more

The sales manager, Bill Logan, told me I had two nails in a leaking tire, and it needed to be replaced for a cost of $300. I had some doubts, as I overheard him telling other customers similar stories. I declined, and had a competent mechanic check it out the next day. It had one very small nail that was repaired in 5 minutes for a cost of $10. Their business practices border on criminal behavior, one should NEVER patronize this location. It seems they are well-known in the area for this type of predatory behavior. read more

I went to Goodyear because of a positive recommendation from a friend who said the staff went above and beyond for him. However, when I went in to troubleshoot an issue I am having with my car the staff on duty was rude and patronizing. I don't know if it was because of gender or if the guy working in the reception area was just having a bad day, but I almost walked out in the middle of our conversation. All I was looking for was some direction in what the issue could be and what steps I can take to address it. The staff was dismissive and would not say anything of value until they took all my information for their system. After all was said and done they recommended I leave my car with them so they can look at it for 30 bucks. No thank you. I would rather take my business to someplace that respects their customers. read more
