Usually great service but this last time I think they have new people who don't care. After about a week after I went to Turbo Lube my oil light went on and my car is down two quarts. My car has never shown that after an oil change and then my tire light went on and my tires needed air put in. I came in scared out of my mind because my car was fishtailing in the rain and I felt completely out of control on the highway. I must've called seven other tire stores--no other store had an opening, but Jim said he would be happy to work me in. Score!!! Unfortunately, my car requires only one kind of tire that wasn't in stock. Dan helped me problem-solve my situation. He gave me a printout of the exact tire I need and he suggested I re-mapped my way home (from Nashua to near Boston) so that I will not be taking any toll roads or highways. Even though they didn't have my specific (and unusual) tire, I was reassured that I did indeed need new tires--BADLY! And I have a plan moving forward. The guy at the front desk is the worst. He told me it will cost me 104$ to inspect something to see if it will pass inspection. I told him I can just pay the 29.99$ for inspection and find out. Just went here today to get my front brakes replaced and get the NH state inspection completed on my car. I thought they would be cheaper than the dealership, but I was definitely wrong. They told me over the phone that the total cost to replace the brake pads and rotors would cost me $350. Once I got there, they told me it would be $400. The state inspection had a $10 coupon, but once I get there, they point out that the coupon doesn't cover the emissions test (which shouldn't be considered separate from the inspection), and that cost another $20. Yes, the coupon said 'excludes emissions test', but I assumed wrongly that only extremely old vehicles required it. I will say that their guy at the front desk is very polite and friendly, but that's not worth the extra bucks I stupidly shelled out today. read more

I've been coming here for three years until my last experience of horrible service. I needed my alignment done and snow tires put on and made an appointment online for this. I was called the same day and told that they wouldn't be able to get me in that day so I rescheduled for the following week. I came in for my second appointment, dropped off the car first thing in the morning and my parents drove me to work. I didn't get a call until 430 in the afternoon for them to tell me they couldn't do anything to my car again. They hadn't even brought it inside yet. So I drove back over there and picked up my car and drove away. Needless to say, I'm never coming here again. And by the way, I took my car over to the new NTB on Amherst Street and they got me in and out in less than three hours. And it costed $20 less than what Goodyear was charging me! read more

I bought a set of tires slightly less than two years ago and spend $46.80 for hazard protection. I picked up a screw on the side of one of the tires this week and went in to see if it could be repaired. I was told "no" and was offered, as part of the hazard protection plan, a credit of less than $40. What a rip-off! When I walked out on the Nashua showroom, I got a phone call from them offering to "work with me" but that shouldn't be necessary. I'll never buy tires for Goodyear again. read more

As someone else said... As I was waiting, one of the employees also came up to me and said they had found some "other things" wrong with my car as I was getting an oil change. They gave me a free estimate that was two pages long, and they said it would cost me over $2,000! I happen to know some people that are mechanics, and the things that Goodyear listed were wrong! My car needed none of those things whatsoever. I only went in for an oil change, which also took over an hour and I was the only one there that day. Do not go to this place. It's expensive, they take a long time working on your car, and they tell you that your car needs things that you don't need at all. Overall, this place is shady. Do not go to them. read more

I went here to have my new car inspected. I was expecting to pay for some small repairs but when they called me later in the day saying it would cost $500 dollars worth of repairs plus $100 dollars just for it to get hooked up to the computer I was shocked. I brought the car to another mechanic and learned they had gone through some loop holes to fail me on extra safety stuff. This place is totally dishonest and greedy. These guys are just crooks. It happened second time as I towed my car to this place. First time they charged $685 to change a starter and they explained me that it takes time (4 hrs?) to reach to the starter in a german car so they charged me 4 hrs of labor. But the second time it was only a replacement of spark plugs and wires and they charged me $777 !!!! I couldn't do anything as I needed it fixed urgently and the car wouldn't start. Shame on me for going there again, but I thought they would think twice to rip off someone twice. The explanation for second time was the wire cost $400? I asked them to replace a cheaper wire and they said no. These folks are outright liers and they cheat on the face. I will pursue with consume protection agency and lodge a complain against them. On a road trip with my family we encountered some car trouble. We looked up the closest GoodYear and were happy to find this location...not too far out of the way. I am so glad we did!! The store is clean and welcoming. The staff friendly and professional. The store manager was extremely knowledgable and thorough which put us at ease since we were not from the area and didn't try and take advantage of that by selling us what we didn't need. I'd been here once before two years ago and was satisfied. I came two weeks ago for two new tires and they tried to hard sell me several other products, services and features, making it an argument trying to say no. Once my car was already on the lift they refused to put only two tires on saying it was "against their policy to put new tires on the front" and wouldn't move the old tires from the back to the front so two new tires could go on because it "wasn't the right way to do it". I gave in and bought four new tires. As soon as I picked up my car the abs and brake indicator lights were flashing and I had to come back in to be fixed, free of charge. scheduled an appointment to get an inspection. get there and after the front desk was finished with another customer took my keys and gave me a paper to sign. I asked how long it would take...1 hour...1 HOUR!!!! I asked if my car would be inspected right away, his reply was "yes". I again asked, "and it's going to take an hour to inspect it?"...his response was an annoyed "yes". I then went into the waiting area where I asked another customer how long it takes because I've only had about 20 inspections in my lifetime and I thought it only took about 20 minutes...which is the answer he gave me... JUST BE HONEST...If you're backed up...it happens, but to LIE about how long it takes for an inspection once the guys have the car?! not necessary! and really not wanted from this single working mom who doesn't have time for lies! PS. upon verifying the approximate time for an inspection I went to the front desk and said to forget it. He went outside and then came back in and told me I'd "have to run and get it, they already started driving it into the garage"...which I did...in heels...did you have heels on person at the front desk? No you didn't...you were just not a nice person. Hoping you just were having a bad day, thank you for making my day a bad one too... will not recommend this place ever... I took my car here for an oil change. A repair man approached me while I was waiting for them to finish and he told me that there were some "other things" in my car that needed to be fixed/replaced. The first thing he said is that my timing belt needed to be replaced. I responded by informing him that I already had my timing belt replaced 5 years ago. (As I and most people know, the timing belt in a car should NEVER have to be replaced more than once. That's just the way it is.) He responded by saying "Oh... 5 years ago? Yeah, well it's time to have it replaced again." ...Are you KIDDING me!? He blatantly lied to my face thinking that I would not know any better. He went on to explain an entire TWO PAGE list of things that "needed" to be replaced in my car (all of which were complete lies as I had my car dealership confirm). These people are just out to get your money and they are willing to lie and cheat in order to get it. read more

i went into goodyear on main st in nashua new hampshire this morning to have my state inspection performed and was meet by a kind and curtoious staff they took my information and got my vehicle into the shop very quickly after check everything out the service gentleman Jim came out and told me my vehicle needed some additional repairs including tires and some other work he then took me out and showed me everything he was talking about and proceeded to explain how everything worked and operated in my vehicle so i could make an informed decesion i chose to do the repairs based on the knowledge and what i had been shown and i would highly recomend going there for any repair work. i will be going there from now on with all 3 of my vehicle's in closing goodyear staff thank you for a great repair experience read more

Maybe I am missing something because I read the other reviews. But, I had a good experience here. The manager introduced himself to me while I was being helped by another person, and he thanked me for coming in. He followed up the next day again with a phone call to thank me again. DO NOT GET YOUR TIRES INSTALLED HERE!!. I wish I could give minus rating. Anyway, I had the tires installation done from these guys and my car had a tire pressure symbol on since then. So, I asked them immediately and the mechanic told me that it will go away eventually after driving. He explains that, It happens to all the cars after new installation of tires. So, I drove off and after few days the tire pressure completely dropped off to 10 on my right 2 tires while I am driving and met with an accident as I was not able to turn my wheel properly and my car was pulled towards right. When I called these guys to talk about it, the store manager argues that you will not likely to meet with an accident if you have a flat tires and will not fix my car. Not sure which world is he talking about because if you simply google "does a flat tire cause accident" you will get 100 links(check it: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-ab&q=does+a+flat+tire+cause+an+accident) with accidents. I even explained the manager that I towed my car to nearest tire service center to get the tires checked and they clearly told me that the wheels were not cleaned and sealed properly while the installation is done. If I could give less than 1 star I would! I work nearby so it's easy to bring my car in to get worked on. As someone else said, oil changes always take more than an hour even if you're the only one there. I recently went to get my car inspected and knew that my brakes needed to be replaced. My husband replaced the front ones but we took a chance with the back ones. It failed which is fine. What is NOT fine is the sweet deal of $600+ they offered to take care of it for me that day. When 2 months ago during an oil change it was 700+ for all 4 to be done. Now it's $600 for the back 2? When I asked about the price difference to the guy behind the counter and said so now it's 600 for just two? His response was "Evidently". I bought 4 brake pads and rotors for $220 the day before. They charge you $200 PER BRAKE PAD there. They are the biggest rip off going and today made it easy for me to never go back there. read more
