The person at the front desk completely ignored me for a few minutes while he was typing on the computer, didn't even acknowledge my presence. Then, I had to ask "is this the place to check in" just to get him to look up. Then, after waiting for another few minutes for him to for him to search for my tires online, a white man comes in and cuts in front of me to address his car that was already being worked on, without hesitation, the employee stopped helping me and walked out with the other guy. I went in for four new tires. I had the Goodyear Assurance All weather tires before on my previous car. I am glad that they had the Goodyear Assurance Maxlife 2 for my newer car. I went in yesterday, but Alex 1 told me that they would have to order all 4 tires and that they would be in at 10am. I received a call at 9:30am the next day that they were in the shop. All 4. I had them replace my current tires and do an alignment. Alex 2 assisted me with the purchase. Nico was very knowledgeable as well. Alex 1, Nico, and Alex 2 were really great. Appointments mean nothing here. I had an appointment for tire alignment and an oil change at 11am. The told they were pretty backed up and that they'd take a bit over 2 hours. I left and came back at 2pm to see if there had been any progress (they did tell me they'd call, but I was in he area). I was told I was next in line and that it should take about 45 mins. I went home and came back at 5:20 pm (a full 6 hours and a half after I dropped the stupid car off). Folks, it's 6:00 pm and my car isn't ready. Take your business somewhere else. Bought 4 new tires from these scumbags two weeks ago for almost $2000.00. They added the warranty to the bill at nearly $50 per tire without my approval or knowledge until I already paid. Fast forward two weeks and I have a random flat and they will not honor the warranty and are playing games. I've called several time just for them to pass the phone around giving excuses and playing games. Don't ever take your car there. They don't care and at this point I don't really think they know what they are doing. Seems like all they really know how to do is hustle their customers. I should've gone to Town Fair. I had a problem with the Tire Pressure Sensor System. Because I take care of my grand kids, I had to take them with me to the store. The personnel was very courteous and very patient while handling the repair. My grandson declared that it was the best store to be in and that he was having a great day! I got a nail in my tire on my way to work pulled in and the MANAGER Scott told me oh No u can't plug that tire and then said I have to buy all 4 new tires ($1000) because of the sensors in these new cars..( 2019 Kia Sorento).so I said I have to get to work right now can u just throw on my spare for me and he did for $20..next day I went to town faire tire in Dedham and I said can u plug this tire for me and the guy said of course No problem and he plugged it and put it back on my car for $13!! This guy should be ashamed and he is the manager!! He gave me his card and said if I come back he'll take the $20 off the $1k for 4 new tires? The managers name was Scott B. I've gone here for 3 separate services and I don't think I'd recommend it. I first had an issue with what I thought was my tire valve but then found out I just needed to reset my TPMS which saved me some money, thank you John! I had a really good experience here so I was willing to come back. My second time, I came to get all four tires replaced. They had the best prices and offers for the tires I was looking for. I got a $75 rebate as well. I also thought it'd be a good idea to remain loyal to one place, especially since my first experience was good. John was not there this time around and my experience wasn't as pleasant. The associates were not as kind or helpful. Also, when I got my car back, the tires were not at the same PSI. In fact, they were all different! They should've been at 35 but they were at 31, 33, 35, and 36. l o l huh. I thought they'd have them at the same PSI but what do I know? For whatever reason, since I've had them changed there, I have had to pump my tires every 1-2 weeks. From October to January. The week after I got these tires, one was down to 28! what is going on!! I realize that tires deflate a bit in the cold weather but going from 35 to 28-30, that's a lot. That's usually how much they deflated. My TPMS also started to act up again even when the tires were at the correct PSI. and then I got a flat tire. I have no idea how. I went to them to get it fixed and I told them about how my tires and services were not up to par even before I drove off the lot and they were telling me it was my fault and the cold's lol. Idk man, I shouldn't be pumping my tires, especially new tires, every week. They told me that my tire was irreparable and that there was a hole in the side due to maybe somebody cutting them or something hitting the side. BUT they told their superior that it was flat due to me driving over a nail. The stories were different? What was the actual cause? I'm not quite sure if I'd go back. I'd really only do so for the sake of loyalty since they have my history but I might find another Goodyear instead. read more

The service agent here was just about as nice as an IRS agent and said I needed to cancel and order their 1200 tires. I had an appointment on 6/24/20 @ 9:00am. On line tire price was not what i ended up paying. Ok I ended up paying about $100 more. Picked my car up at about 4pm!!!!! On 6/29 I'm at my mechanic because my car was making a grinding/rubbing noise. He found that the lug nuts on all 4 tires were loose. And that the front right tire was the worse. You are a tire shop. Shouldn't making sure the tires are on correctly be a priority? Good thing I am out of work at the moment and not driving. This could have ended very badly. Beware if this place. Other people I know have gone to Goodyear locations in the suburbs and been satisfied with their experience. I needed a nail removed from one tire and needed one wheel bearing checked. I made an online appointment. When I got there, I was told their online system doesn't "communicate" with their store location, and that I'd have to drop my car off for a while. Also, they tried to charge me $70 just to check a single wheel bearing. There is a "Free Car Care Check" all Goodyears offer- t is on their website- which includes many different things. I just needed my wheel bearing checked. It should have been a lot quicker than the Free Car Care Check and FREE, not $70. Go somewhere else. read more

Is there any point in making an appointment online if they're going to get to your car if and when they feel like? 5 hours for new tires that were fully paid for online. I scheduled an appointment 48 hours in advance and was told it will take 2.5 hours. Additionally I was assured that no additional charges would be applied, but the guy at the desk tries to add optional road hazards on tires compulsorily. He also says I have too pay to align the wheels. 3 hours into my wait they haven't touched the car, just hoisted the car and left it up there... go somewhere else where they treat you better. read more

I had my car towed here this past Saturday, arriving at 7PM. They were closing but a quick look and I was told I would need a brake switch. I was also told it might be tough to track one down on Sunday, which I understood. Sunday comes, they are open 9-4. I wait til noon to call and am told their mechanic is not there, they will get back to me. I call again at 2:45, I'm told it's being checked. I doubt that. I call shortly before 4, go right to "all our associates are busy", I hold 10 minutes and leave a msg. I then headed down there, everyone gone. Today, Monday.... 3:18pm and not a call from this repair shop. Beyond horrible customer service. A brake switch is an inexpensive part and a 10 minute swap. Additional info- 10/26: So I called and miraculously the part had arrived 10 minutes ago. I was asked to call back in 45 minutes. I said, well I know the replacement is a quick swap, but was told the mechanic is working on something else. When I called, the car was ready. Now we get to the charges! The bill had a $99 diagnostic charge. I was told 5 minutes after arriving it was a brake switch. It also had a $99 labor charge. Each of these represent 1 hr of time. Posted at their desk is $49.50 per half hour. At minimum, I was overcharged $99, assuming they have a 1/2 hr minimum requirement, which I did not see. So the matter is far from done. Stay away from this shop! Final follow up- after several email exchanges with the manager, he agree to reimburse me $148.50. Only fair to also report his responsiveness to the matter. read more

Well, scratch Goodyear Tire and Auto of Roslindale off my list. I've got a slow leak in one of my tires (the pump some air into it about every 5 days kind) and they advertise they can fix that sort of thing. So I call on Saturday to make an appointment and get one for Monday afternoon. Arrive Monday afternoon to be told "you're not in the computer and we can't squeeze you in. Even if you had an appointment you'd have to wait two hours." OK, so how about I make an appointment right now for a future day? Sure. Heavyset older white dude with white moustache takes my info and I watch him type it into the computer. Confirm verbally with him 3 times that my appointment is for 8pm Thursday evening/night. Checking the website this evening and see listed store hours is that they close at 8pm. WHAT!?!?! So, I figure they're only 10 minutes away or so, I'll drive over early in case there was some sort of mistake. Arrived at 7:30pm to a shop with security gates pulled down and padlocked, lights off, everything closed despite the clearly posted business hours showing open until 8pm. I'm left with only 3 possibilities: 1. They're lazy and/or have horrible inconsistent business practices 2. This was something pre-scheduled and moustache dude was just jerking me around deliberately. 3. Some emergency came up impacting the entire staff. My money's on option 1, but I'm open to 2. Wish I could give negative stars. They are nice people but they don't know what they are doing. Brought my car in, they gave me new tires, tire light never went off, brought it back , they said they rotated my tires, only to bring it back after more tire issues and have another person tell me my tires were never rotated. I took my car to a dealer to get a professional opinion and they told me someone had replaced a portion of my tire to an old piece and that's why I had all the issues. They are thief's and don't fix things well, DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAVE WITH MORE PROBLEMS. read more

My GF came here to get snow tires earlier this year and that was an all day affair. They had the car for 7 hours before they called her and told her they were just getting started and needed the wheel locks. They gave her a coupon for a free oil change after that and she set it up the appointment online. I came here on time for the appointment and the manager checked me in. After sitting here for an hour I go up and ask the guy why the car is still sitting outside and he told me an online appointment just "goes on top" of what they already have, basically meaning an online appointment means nothing but a walk in. We will never use this place to service our vehicles for anything ever again. I wish I could give 0 stars because that is what they deserve. read more

I went in this morning riding on a spare, and fully expecting that the salesman might try to get me to buy four new tires - or rims (my car is old.) Just the opposite! Scott looked at the tire and said the treads were in really good shape and he suggested that his team would check it out to see what the trouble might be. A few short hours later I got a call saying that they found the hole, plugged it and that I could come and pick up my car. They popped the newly fixed tired on and off I went! I go there and there is only one salesman on the floor helping a customer. The guy is finished asks me what I want said standard oil change I have a coupon. He goes to the technicians for doesn't tell me why. He says it will be an hour granted I didn't have an appointment. No problem. Then he starts to enter my info and another Co worker comes in and he asks him if he can finish entering my info because he runs to the back managers office to make a flipping phone call. The other guy is about to enter my correct info when he gets a personal call on the company phone. He apologized but that's still not good enough in my mind. Then he completes my paperwork and then checks in the technician area and asks how long the wait will be? I explained the other guy said an hour and he still checks. He now says an hour and a half before they take car in and 1/2 hr to do oil change. He comes back out tells me to leave keys on counter. I sit down but then change my mind. I get to the counter and the same guy is now talking in Spanish on his personal call. It wasn't a customer I know the difference. I told him I changed my mind he pointed his finger up to say one moment. Be didn't put his call on hold. He finished it hung up went to the back to get my keys a total of 5 min just to get my keys. Came in for appointment on-time, they knew I'd be waiting with the vehicle, straightforward task. Waited 3 hours and when I asked for an estimate, they claimed they only had 2 repairmen and it would only be another hour before my car would be ready. Hour went by, garage almost empty, (during lunch there was literally a whole hour where NO ONE was working in the shop!), my car was no where to be seen (they kept driving it somewhere, for what purpose I have no idea, but they put 2 miles on it). Work hadn't even started. When I asked for another estimate (politely, and stating I knew times were tough, etc.), got another song and dance about how they couldn't possibly estimate times when online customers could schedule appointments and company forced the scheduler to take in everyone (that wasn't true, because he was turning others away or telling them to call back next week). At the desk and in the shop there was a lot of palaver and little evidence of work ethic anywhere. Finally had to leave and asked for my keys, after which "manager" put the car on the lift instead and then I had to ask him again, to which he said he hadn't heard me say I had to go due to professional commitments (that can't be run loosey-goosey, like this shop!). I tried nicely to explain that better communication with the customers would make everyone at least feel better about the situation, even if they were still understaffed and running many hours behind schedule (don't know why they even pretend there is a schedule). Totally unprofessional operation, even if the mechanics might have done a decent job. For people claiming to be so busy, everything was in slow motion and appropriate communication was non-existent. It's a shame because it would've been convenient to get service there. Will never make that mistake again! read more

Update: I received a call from Goodyear the following day and they rectified this situation to my satisfaction. Thank you for making this right Goodyear. I've never had any issues with them and I've been going for years until today with both my vehicles. Scheule oil change over the weekend, have the truck brought in this morning and they say they do not have the oil required for my service but I could get one if the more expensive oil changes (double the cost or more.) Confused as to why I have to pay more because your establishment isn't equipped and you knew I was coming? Not even an offer of a coupon to cut the cost some? The only reply was the oil "should be in sometime this week." They've definitely lost a customer as there are far too many options for car services. read more

I made an appointment to change 4 tires on Friday @12pm, I got there @ 11:50pm, the guy took my keys n told me it will take an hour and maybe 15 more minutes if it needed an alignment, after an hour & 15 minute, I asked how longer should i wait, he told me they are just finishing up. I had another important appointment at 2:30pm and I was late, I asked what's the point of appointments if I had to wait this long, I could've went home n came back later if I knew it will take this long, he said "if u have a doctor appointment, will u see him immediately or will you have to wait?" also said "Saturdays are busy, there were customers b4 u". Finally @ 2:25 i left the shop with my car. This is not professional and would be my last time going to a Goodyear service center. read more

I was in and out in the time frame quoted to me on the phone from the manager; which made me happy as I didn't have to waste to much of the beautiful day waiting for my car to be repaired. I purchased a new set of Goodyear tires at this shop - paid for mount and balance. They did a terrible job with the balance - lots of vibrations. And and after less than a week I had 2 flats due to improper installation. There was nothing wrong with the tires. The goon who did the install didn't clean the inside of the wheels, and pinched the stems, causing them to leak. I had another Goodyear shop (Malden, MA) fix it. They were competent and professional. Still cost me almost another $100 for the mount and balance. At least it's done right this time. Stay away form this shop! read more

Not sure if these 1 star reviews have gone anywhere else. I have been to Firestone and ripped off at Sullivan Tire prior to finding this place. I have had tires replaced on multiple occasions and I was very happy all times. The pricing is unbeatable and service has been reasonably fast. I will not use anyone else. read more
