Great Internet deal for my oil change. 2nd time this year that I was serviced quickly.

I came in because I thought I needed a tire repair. It turns out there was nothing more than a nail in the tire, an easy fix. Colleen at the front was very friendly and helpful. Donny took great care of my tire problem. I was so relieved they were so professional and treated me with respect ( which is not always the case for a women at an auto service shop). Went there for Safety Checks on both my cars as they did them last year. The manager, Dave handled the first one, no problem. Upon my return with the second car Dave was out so this guy Alapai took care of me. I handed him my insurance card as well as my registration along with my car key. After they completed the process the customer before me was at the counter paying for his safety check and the Rep., Alapai had his paperwork sitting on top of mine. Well, after the customer paid his bill, Alapai hands him all the paperwork on the desk. He then calls me up to the desk so that I can pay for my safety check. The first thing he says is, " it's going to be $25.33 and asked me my method of payment which I told him was debit card. After paying he hands me the receipt and I signed his copy. I then asked him for my registration and insurance card. He told me he had given it to me and insisted he didn't have it. In front of customers he literally told me to empty my pockets and insisted over and over that he had given me my information back saying" I had it right here and handed it to you" not once realizing that he had given my registration and insurance card to the previous customer. This went on for about 10 minutes. He clearly had made a mistake but never admitted it. I then asked him if Craig Suzuki was the District Manager, he said yes. After finally realizing he may have given my registration and insurance card to the previous customer, he calls him and he did indeed have it and agreed to return it. He placed blame on the customer when it was his fault, a simple mistake but he compounded the problem by blaming both of the customers not apologizing at the time then getting on the phone and calling Craig Suzuki to give him his fabricated details of the incident while taking no responsibility for his mistake. When I spoke with Mr. Suzuki, he already had formed his opinion based on what Alapai has told him. He listened to me as I was very upset and finally said he would speak with Alapai and how he handled the situation. Alapai received my paperwork from the customer who was also inconvenienced and had to drive back to the shop, and when he handed it to me he gave me a cursory, "sorry for what happened" never apologizing for accusing me for a mistake he made. I felt Mr. Suzuki just wanted to get me off the phone and later on last night, I received a call from Dave the manager, again I thanked him for the follow up call though he told me Mr. Suzuki had emailed him to do so along with the obligatory apologies which sounded "canned". Will never return to this place again, I've spent 30 yrs in the"people" business and the one thing you understand, "you never blame the customer" especially when you make the mistake and then don't apologize until prompted by a manager. If you want to see what "real" customer service is, try the Goodyear at Waipahu Town Center. Chris, the Manager will treat you like you are his only customer with service to match unlike this place. The only reason I went to have my safety check done there was because they don't handle them at my preferred shop in the Town Center, I will never go back, Dave the manager was fine, this Alapai guy totally a joke. read more

So I came in for a safety check and it was a bit busy but I know every shop and dealer does walk in for safety and usually safety doesn't take that long but the lady in the front told me to come back tomorrow and I asked if u guys do appointments and she said no so I was confuse what shop doesn't do appointments. And i know she trying to get rid of me so I didn't feel welcome at all to this place so I call my friend who works there and told him what happen and he told me no body in the shop doesn't like her and wants her to get fired! And he also told me they do appointments and do safety walk in! Well anyways just wanted to share but I recommend Midas or any other good year stores For your service need!! Great tire repair! Had a slow leak in one of my tires. BMW said they won't repair so would have to buy a new tire because they were Run Flat tires. The guys at Goodyear took the tire, patched from the inside. Took about 2 hours. So far, so good! read more

Unprofessional staff member named Colleen. She shows no concern about any customers that walk in, belittles me and rather talk to her co workers than paying attention to a person that wants to do business. Such a shame. Many of the mechanics are very helpful and knowledgeable however I would NEVER come back to this place due to this worker. Don't waste your time if she's working and go to another place that shows you a little more respect. read more

So I'm a day late in writing this but I'm so glad they were there especially because it poured rain all day today! After a long exhausting day I'm driving home and my tire light dings. I sigh in exhaustion and pull in at about 545PM I wasn't sure if they would be accepting any more cars in because it was like 15 minutes until closing time. Alapai was such a great help and made me feel at ease, I'm a gas and go kind of girl, haha. So whenever lights start going off I kinda start to panic! He took my keys and gave it to the tech guy outside who immediately brought my truck in. I told them which tire and they checked all the tires anyway. Also my tire sensors I think that's what they're called we're not programmed correctly and they reprogram them too! They are amazing!!! Can't thank them enough! read more

Bought a set of tires from these guys about a year ago and had the truck aligned. Almost immediately, the sipes on the tires started to become raised / cup. The truck had new shocks, ball joints and tie rods. I took it back for alignment and same thing. I ended up taking it to another alignment shop but the damage was done. I recently went back check if anything could be done with the tires so they checked alignment and the guy said it was off and they aligned it. Before I brought it in, the truck was going straight. When I left it pulled to the right and the steering wheel was cocked to the left about an inch. I decided that's that I am done with this place. I didn't even go back to get the corrected. I figure it's a waste of time since obviously they are incompetent or their alignment rack needs calibration. I could do a better job with a piece of string and a bubble level. read more

We went to the Goodyear in Waipahu so once we finally got there, the guys were nice and so, my friend bought the 4 tires and paid the extra $89 for the alignment.  Guy said it would take a couple of hours so we wait for 2 hours and we head back to Goodyear.  As we enter the showroom, I look into the service area and my friends truck is driven out so I assume it's all done.  10 minutes later, no truck so I ask the guy, where did it go and he tells us that their alignment machine is broken so they took it to the other Goodyear three miles down the road.  After an additional hour we got the truck back. The manager should have told us that they could not do it on site.  What a terrible liability if the guy go into an accident...poor decision making there.  Then, the manager kind of ignores us and by the time we get the truck back, and everyone else was really unapologetic. I will never go here again. It was awful. read more

Made an appointment online for 8am. Dropped my car off at that time and was told that they will call when finished. There was only one person ahead of me. I come back even before the called because I thought it'd be finished by the time my ride needed to leave for work. But no. I decided to just wait there because it's been several hours. But guess what?! They didn't even touch my car at all. Same spot and everything. I have would be fine if it was still there for an hour. But it's been more than two hours and they still haven't brought it in to inspect. I've never had this problem when dropping off my car else where. It'd be finish within the hour. But never a 2+ hour wait. I made an appointment. I made it early so it can be returned to me asap. But no. This is really inconvenient. What? If I decided to wait in the shop for it would they do it faster? Probably not. And it's not even busy here. This is really frustrating and annoying. Will never come back here. I'd give you no stars if that was an option. Poor customer service also. Update: 10 minutes after asking what time my car will be done, they finally brought in my car. It only took him 10 minutes because he needed to change my windshield wipers. But why did it have to take so long? It took me leaving home to wait here and to ask about when my car will be finished for them to finally acknowledge my car. Paid 51.51 total. Reasonable. But still annoyed at the fact that I waited 3.5 hours for a safety inspection that only took 10 minutes? Ya feel? read more

Don't go here. This place just wants to take your money, probably like all Goodyears. They are not trustworthy. Just wanted to get a simple oil change, and I also wanted them to look into my car having a rough idle. Talked with a women on the phone to make the appointment and she said they would look into the rough idle also. Went to drop the car off and talked to manager DAVID who was not friendly at all. I asked him if they could look at my cars rough idle and he said that they would have to charge me..so I then asked him if they could just tell me if the car has a normal idle. Whatever, the point is he talked to me like I was a child. He made me feel like I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. I know Im not a mechanic thats why Im asking for you to look at it! Whatever, so my car got an oil change and I go to pick it up, they tell me that the brake fluid needs to be flushed (cost $100) and show me some brown piece of paper they tested for the brake fluid. Funny thing is I just got all new brakes from them in August, less than 5,000 miles ago..which included break fluid flush. I tell them that and DAVID says "Well it was probably really dirty because it needs to be flushed again" That doesn't make sense, why didn't you guys just do a good job flushing it the first time? I didn't get the flush from them because they are liars. Management needs to be trained better in customer service, and also trained to not scam people! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They are so slow to do anything! On top of that they make you feel like your lucky they do anything for you. They are noted for giving an estimate and going over that without letting you know. Don't go there for a safety either! They are ridiculous! They have one safety guy! He only works until 3:00. I failed for registration (transferring car from another state) then I went back several times to no avail. The guy is at lunch, "there is a 30-1 hour wait" " you have to arrive before two to ensure he can put the sticker on" omg I have lived in Hawaii 30 years and never have I ever had this problem. Basically I have to put in the hour wait or go somewhere else! I went somewhere else. I cannot deal with this type of non-service service! They are the worst, and arrogant, and non helpful. One time I was waiting in line, and only one guy in front of me. They we overcharging him because he was quoted 1100 and the bill was 1300. But I'm standing in line, and she knows who I am (having been there for the same reason many times) but I waited for 15 minutes for her to tell me it will be an hour for my sticker!! WTF? "I'm not pulling him off the job just to put a sticker on your car" mind you when I left in aggravation, I noticed in the garage that nobody was working on any cars! They were drinking soda and talking!! Save yourself and go somewhere else. Don't need the drama! read more

Everything was ok until they broke my dip stick that goes into my oil and didn't replace it. They gave me a bill to charge me $30 for another stick and $55 labor to take the old one out and replace the new one. WHAAAT? are you kidding me? you broke it and I have to pay to fix it? ok whatever, i'll pay $30 for a new dip stick...but $55 in labor? AHHHH. I can't believe the customer service, or lack thereof, in some places. I know there should have been some compromise to that situation. Other than that, nice waiting area and friendly people. One lady kept calling out at me by another name and when i looked up a she asked if that was me and i'm like no..thinking don't you think if it was me i would have stood up the first 3 times?! i thought that was kind of rude to misidentify a customer considering i am the ONLY one in the waiting room and I literally just gave you my information to put into the database. read more

I stopped here at 11 am on a Wednesday for a safety inspection. My car needed new tires after a failed inspection, which was done very quickly. I was given a price for new tires, before I agreed to have them put on I asked if they were onsite. Once I was told they were here I agreed, then a few minutes later he told me they had to be picked up from the warehouse. Not cool. I also told them I had to pick up my son from school at 12:30. They offered to pick him up if needed, I thought that was nice. Thankfully the school is nearby and we walked instead. At 11:30 he took me out and showed me my tires and said it would be 1.5 hours. They were pretty nice overall but the language could have been a little cleaner in front of customers and the choice of tv station was very lacking, not for family consumption. They were also very slow getting to work done once they had my car up on the lift and I was trapped. I came here because it was close to my sons school, and I thought it was a freat way to kill two birds with one stone. I will not come back to this shop to have my time wasted. After four hours and $150 added with out my knowledge, I would watch the store manager and be sure of what he means because its not what he says. read more
