Earlier today i went to Nissan town center location in Kennesaw and practically got raped for only diagnosing my electrical problem for $250 ! I dropped off my Nissan to this dealer yesterday after 4pm and was told that it wouldnt be looked at until this morning at 7 am. Well at 8 am i recieved a call telling me what i already knew and still charged me the 2 HOUR MINUMUM of $250 electrical diagnoses. Kent at K& M diagnosed and fixed my tail light while i watched in about 15 minutes. WOW! He charged me a very reasonable rate that didnt exceed their normal $102 an hour labor fee and helped me with codes for my car AND PRINTED OUT a Nissan recall that i was never told about at the dealership. This is a family run place and it is clear they dont ever rip you off. The 3 men helping me and coaching as to my next steps were wonderful, funny and helpful human beings. I will entrust my car here from now until FOREVER! AND i am telling everyone i know in my kennesaw community to try these guys so you dont get screwed over by others.

Then another guy stepped in & handle it, while the first guy went to the other car next to me. He gave me $5 off. Gave him a $100 & told him to keep the change. Oil was filled with the correct type. Even though I stayed in my car, I could see thru the crack in the hood when he was putting in the oil, & it was 0W20. After they were done, I drove home & recheck their work. Oil was filled to the full line. Look under the car, no oil dripping. Next day, check as well, no dripping oil.

I didn't know what it was so I took it to a mechanic it turns out Jiffy Lube did not put my skid plate back on correctly. I haven't been able to get a hold of them by phone. I feel that I need to be compensated for the amount I paid for this other mechanic to put the skid plate on, that they did not do correctly in the first place.

After calling two other tire places, I was told no appointments were available to look at it until the next day at either place. I remembered having good dealings with Kauffman Tire in Smyrna before, so made the trek to Kauffman in Kennesaw. I was told it would be a few hours to have it seen, and I asked if I could drop my family off at home first, then come back and if they would hold my place in line. The friendly counter man told me he would do his best to hold my place, and that's all I could ask for. I returned just over an hour later, and to my surprise, they took my 4Runner right back. Already I was super pleased! About 45 minutes later, the same employee told me that their tire repair machine had malfunctioned, and had basically shredded my tire. But, he stated they would replace the entire tire at no cost to me with an equivalent tire to what I had. Now, maybe I'm cynical, but I have to believe a lot of other repair shops would have advised me that my tire was too badly damaged by the metal piece and it would just have to be replaced instead of repaired. And then they would have sold me a $200 tire and I wouldn't have been any the wiser. Kauffman Tire's honesty and willingness to make it right have earned a customer for life now when I need new tires. Great job!

DO NOT GO TO MIDAS. They replaced my catalytic converter in…read moreJuly of 2023. September 2024 I began having the same issues and took it back to have them look at it. They said the entire $900 catalytic converter needed to be replaced because it was clogged. A second shop told me that the fitting between the catalytic converter and the exhaust was not installed properly. So I'm now outside of warranty, on an expensive part that was installed incorrectly and if it is clogged, is directly because they did not do their job properly.
