We found some gopher holes on the side of the house. Then we saw it in our lawn. We used the natural way of dog poop. We also bought gas flares from Home Depot...and NADA!! So we called Gopher Patrol. They came out 3 times and they couldn't get the sucker. We were told to ask for the manager. He's the gopher guru I guess. Lol. He found the "intersection" of this guy and he's huge. 1 day later....my dog dragged the trap out with the beast that's been destroying my yard!! I'm so stoked this company took the time to keep after that little bugger...I have recommend them to my Gpa, and our neighbor. My mom was in urgent need of pest control service for her house. We called different companies but we only got voice mail. Then we called Gopher Patrol and we actually got a person answering the phone who was able to schedule us an appointment with a technician for that same week! Our technician, Skyler was wonderful, professional, performed very detailed work, and explained the whole process clearly. We were able to reach him after hours for any concerns we had. I wasted a year w Gopher Patrol. They had no idea how to effectively kill a gopher. They used the same method over and over. Although they guaranteed they'd return if gophers were sited after the visit, they rarely did. When my lawn was completely destroyed, they promised to set traps, which they never did. They lied about what they were able to do w regard to chemicals. I found this out when I contacted another company that killed the gopher on the first shot so speak The new company dug deep holes and caught the gopher- I saw him dead - then used a special technique carbon monoxide gas. It's been 4 months and no more gophers The gopher patrol are not skilled in catching and killing gophers. They will take your money and provide no results and even less customer service. I used the service and it started out great was a little pricey but I went ahead. They done the initial work and explained to me that I could pay $85 a month if I wanted to continue the service but if not call them back if I seen Gopher activity and they will come out and you can still pay $85... but actually what they want you to do is pay,the initial price which ranges for 300 and 600or higher and then pay $85 a month whether you have Gopher activity or not so I don't think that's fair and they just scheduled me and wanted to come out and I said no I don't need you ... no gopher activity seen .....so when I called about a few months later they refused service because of the appointment I canceled (never mind they did not come out I just canceled the appointment!! )In other words I was lied to by the techs and this company wants you to pay $85 a month whether you have activity or not which doesn't make sense to me. The job they did initially was successful but you shouldn't do your customers like that or have them pay $85 when you see no activity that's just money given away.!!! just to add to it. They also said they don't like the way I asked them to call me an hour before they come and also they don't like for me to schedule a week ahead of time they like to call you a few days ahead of time, can you believe that? read more

I used this company back in November 2015 and was hesitant to do so since it can be a challenge finding a reliable company. I had major gopher issues in my front yard possibly only one gopher but nothing I used from attempting to gas them, poison them, or even the old Juicy Fruit gum trick would not work. I called Gopher Patrol and they sent someone out within the week to give an estimate. I believe Earl was the technician who assisted us and he was very knowledgeable about gophers. We were quoted $275 for the front yard and included a 30 day guarantee from the date of service. Earl even offered to take a look in the backyard for gopher holes at no extra cost. Needless to say, it was the best $275 I've spent. The technician explained the process and informed us it is safe as long as our dogs are not complete diggers and stood by his work. Within a week we no longer saw new gopher holes and it has been almost 3 full months and still no new gopher holes. We couldn't be more happier with the quality of service Gopher Patrol provided. If you're reading this and are on the fence about who to go with, don't wait anymore or waste anymore money trying to kill the gophers yourself call this company ASAP. Michael from Gopher Patrol has been our Pest Control guy for several years now. Our house is situated between several State and National Parks. Its almost like being in the wilderness, or like being in the suburbs of the suburbs. From time to time we have problems with: rats( these little bastards make me cringe); mice; rabbits, ants, spiders, and gophers. Michael treats our house and yard monthly. This guy knows his stuff. Recently we had a problem with a migrating population of gophers. It kinda reminded me of the 1980's movie Caddyshack . I went outside one morning and there were little dirt mounds all over my beautiful green grass (what a mess). I called Michael and told him what had happened. He came out the next day; and did what he does; and then a few treatments later they were all gone, (dead or moved on, I don't care which). I recommend Michael. I was very disappointed with Gopher Patrol. I had a couple of moles during 2 years. While treating the mole trail the service tech suggested that I get a "annual contract" to take care of the problem if it ever comes up again. The cost was $60 a month. He said they would come out and inspect for moles each month. They did come out each month for a year. I found a gopher hole which they treated. It took 2 months to get rid of it. This month a new service tech came out to inspect the property and wanted first $225 and i told him I'm on a contract, he said it was for gophers....next he wanted $325 to treat a mole hole. I called the office and the lady said she would change the contract to cover moles but it would be $25 more each month. A new tech showed up the following day and said he could do a courtesy check but I need a new contract for $85 a month. I called the office and the guy that answered said I would have to pay $325 to add moles to the contract and $25 more each month.....on a contract that I asked to cover moles...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM..UNLESS YOU HAVE LOTS OF $...I felt like I was seeing a new version of the old shell game. read more
