I guess I have to give one star, ok, he did text me after I called him on Friday, said he'll call me right back. No call back. I've followed up with another text next day, still nothing! Ok I thought maybe he just doesn't work or even do call backs on the weekends (or text). So now it's Monday and I'll be dammed if I will call him the third time. We have been having gopher problems at our condominium complex and we were referred to call Jaime at Gopher Trapping Pros. He out the same day to assess the situation and placed the trap(s) that same day. After our freshly laid sod had finally taken root, we were alarmed to find some dirt mounds appearing almost daily around our backyard. I was plagued by gopher mounds almost a foot tall in my garden . I couldn't imagine what was down there, maybe a gopher convention. I called GTP (Jaime) and he came over. He looked around, decided the problem could be overcome, set a few traps and left. A couple of weeks later (my fault for the delay) he came over to remove the traps. I was very pleased with the gopher service. They laid traps and I haven't seen a gopher since. The whole process only took about a half hour. They removed the traps after about 2 weeks. We found Jaime of Gopher Trapping Pros (I'm not sure why it says San Mateo since I think he covers a much wider area, we live near Stanford University) through recommendations on NextDoor, double checked through Yelp. We weren't sure what rodent was ruining our yard. Turns out it was voles, not even on our radar! For a couple of months, I thought a mole was creating multiple mounds in my back lawn. I would even see his head pop up in the mornings. 4 rounds of poisonous worms didn't stop the mounds from growing and the mole from peeping his head up from time to time arghh! I finally called a few gopher/mole places, and Jaime was the first to call back, offered the best price (just one simple fee, no expensive mandatory monthly payment packages/plans). He came, confirmed that it's actually a gopher (based on the appearance of the mounds), set some traps, came back in 2 weeks, confirmed that one trap had gone off and probably a raccoon came by, dug up and ate the dead gopher in the trap (as there was a huge hole next to the trap that had gone off). No more new mounds. Although Jaime felt it was just the one gopher causing the mounds, he still left a couple traps in the lawn and repositioned them. It is an ongoing issue because our neighbors do not eradicate, so he is here regularly to check the traps, remove the caught animals and relocate the traps for next time. A year and a half ago I had an invasion of gophers at my house in SF. A few companies wanted me to sign a long term contract. Instead, I called Gopher Trapping Pros. They got rid of 17 gophers in two weeks. They recently came back, but GTP got them again, just before the population explosion.
