I was looking forward to a quick dinner prior to a show and Fish and Chips sounded good. So it is a fast food atmosphere which I am great with although all the available tables were dirty and no staff available to clean up so I had to clear a table and wipe it down with a napkin which isn't the ideal. After ordering our meal it took less than 10 min when it was ready (great). The fish was very meaty and plentiful the batter was light and greasy and I do expect greasy, the down fall was it lacked flavor even after added malt vinegar, we also shared a lobster tail which did not have a lot of meat to it, made in same fish batter(good) but was over cooked, very rubbery and last was the shrimp, same good batter and shrimp was cooked perfectly. I won't be going out of my way to return but I would not say don't try it.

Got the lobsters and shrimp with chicken tender add on, and the fish and chips box. Lobster and shrimp were flavorful, chicken tender was more on the dark meat/peppery side which was ok. Fish was nice, not too flavorful unless with the sauces. Chips were salty and filling. Service was kind and quick. Place has plenty of seating inside and outside.

You order before you sit. The menu is simple in 3 steps. Pick shrimp, lobster, chicken or fish. Then pick the types chips (fries) then the sauce. We picked fish(3), dirty #3 chips (bacon, cheddar, onion, sour cream). Go look for a table to seat yourself and you're given a number. Everything was tasty for a quick meal. The pieces were big, crispy, and flavorful.

We wanted to check this spot out a couple years ago when they first opened in Reno but the day we arrived they were unexpectedly closed. This time around we caught them while open. There a line to order but the line moved pretty fast. The fish and chips were really good. Fresh crispy fish and the chips were excellent. The tartar sauce was some of the best I've ever tried. My only critique about this restaurant is the pricing of some of their drinks. $5 for a bottled Dasani water? And $5 for a sweet tea in a 12 Oz. cup? A little outrageous if you ask me. But overall this is a nice spot to check out.

The food tasted good, but sadly, I was disappointed. It's a nice set up. Just a nice simple "chip shop" you walk in, place your order at the counter, and have a seat. They call you when your order is ready. I went for the basic fish and chips, I didn't go with the "dirty options" on my chips. They looked Good, but it would've been just too much food. For my sauces, I had the standard tartar sauce and the Dijon aïoli. I would've loved to try the mango curry sauce, but they were out. The food comes, and it was a generous portion. The fish was lightly breaded, I liked the breading, and it was a very high-quality flaky fish. The chips were overall crisp on the outside, and very tender on the inside. The two sauces were great for dipping. So why three stars? The food was just way too oily! I don't know if the oil wasn't the right temperature when they fried it, , but I could definitely taste it in the food. Not only that, but you eat fish and chips with your hands. My fingers were just glistening with oil. After the meal, you could see the oil all over the table top. It definitely took away from the meal. The fish, chips, and the soda, I was out the door roughly $23 after tax. It would've been worth it, just not for what I got. I don't think I'll be back. Thanks anyway.

Wife and I wanted to hit Either Ramsays Kitchen , or his Fish & Chips place. Since it was lunchtime, only Fish and Chips was open, so there we went Place is clean looking, plenty of seating, Several options for building your box, including paying extra for dirtying up your chips, and selecting 2 from the 6 available types of sauce to dip. Wife got standard Fish and regular Sea Salt chips, + 2 of the Tartar sauce. It came with 3 nice pieces of Fish , that were very good on flavor, the batter was firm but light, and the tartar sauce wasnt overly heavy except on flavor. I went with the Lobster & Shrimp, with one siracha aioli sauce(great flavor, a little spicy but not overly), and 1 regular tarter(tangy) Lobster tail was nicely battered, full of great flavor and paired well with either sauce. Our chips (fries) were firm, nicely browned and quite tasty. The restaurant was an order at the counter, and seat yourself, retrieving your food when your number was called. Plenty of seating, and a nice selection of Rock music from English bands from 60's and 70's. Wife and I loved the whole vibe, food and look forward to returning on any future trips.

If you want some Gordon Ramsay and don't want to pay a ton at his restaurant next door, this is the place to be. The lines get long here because it makes you feel like you are getting food from the master without having to max out your credit card. The service is quick and if you are a bowler, tell them so you can get free drinks (i.e., water bottles). The food is super hot and fresh. I highly recommend trying the dirty chips (fries) number 2. It almost made me feel like I was in another country. Give the name of this place, a good way to see the hype while in the Big 3 hotels.

It's a chippy shop but a damn good one. I had the shrimp and lobster with a piece of fish. Id probably just have fish snd chips next time The sticky toffee pudding shake was good as well

Loved the shrimp and chips. We always liked the fish and chips at other locations but decided to try the shrimp which were battered in same mixture as the fish. Delicious.

Located inside the Silver Legacy, we stopped in and had a treat. We ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding Pops, they were recommended to us and 10/10 was impressed. They were super fresh, hot and delicious! They were insanely sweet, but so worth it! The toffee sauce was mouth watering good. I'm a total sweets gal and these did it for me. A friend with me also ordered the truffle fries and throughly enjoyed! The establishment itself was to be expected, decently clean, the staff wasn't rude nor over friendly. I would return for this exact treat again.

Busy on a Saturday afternoon. Workers here, work very hard to pound out the fish and chips for lines of people. I had my doubts looking at the seafood smothered in dough, but I was surprised with the lightness of the batter, and not too greasy. More of a conveyor type process of getting the food out. Not conducive to a relaxed meal. But great for casino goers and convenient.

Ever since I got the fish n chips at Epcots, I've been craving something similar. Gordon Ramsey's are pretty good with a crispy outside and tender interior for the fish n chips. But for the lobster and shrimp there wasn't quite enough meat to balance the batter. Probably better to stick to fish.

    Fish and chips

Fish and chips were spot on...crispy outside and flaky inside. Ours came out hot and fresh where it was difficult to pick each piece by hand. Chips were good and somewhat crispy but I've had better. The fish was the star. My son got the chicken which also had a good crisp and tasty. He chose to upgrade to the Dirty #2 fries which had truffle oil....good but not crisp...he said he'd probably just stick with the regular chips next time. He also ordered the sticky toffee shake and he really liked it. For the sauces, we had the tartar, siracha aioli, and ranch....id just go with the tartar. We'd come back if we were in the area. Price was reasonable.

Time tax: Unless you are rolling with someone in a higher tier of the players club you are going to wait. Sad but true, Maybe I was at fault for arriving as late as I did around 7:20pm but I wasn't sat until closer to 8:30. The line was peculiar. So many people skipped ahead. There was only one person at the register. Occasionally the nice blonde manager lady would come over and ring a few parties up, the line went fast for a few seconds, but the chap at the register only worked fast when the manager came by. Otherwise he took his sweet time, he'd only rush if another VIP waiting to skip the line showed up. It was often, this buffet is popular and the skippers show up in force, especially late. Server Attention Tax: the servers on a normal day work hard, they close at 9:00, they warn you when 9 approaches and it's a wrap, on the seafood buffet days they are not motivated, because they stay late. They act like they aren't getting paid for the extra time. I sat down around 8:25 and no one took my drink order till like 8:40. I was worried I would get a single plate but to my surprise they didn't shut down shop right at 9:00 in fact they were still seating people. So that was cool. But the servers are in no rush. I don't want to get all Mr. Rogers about it, but if you get me my beverages sooner, I'll get out of your hair sooner, you are literally prolonging your own suffering here. The seafood Tax Rebate: the seafood is good, fresh fish, crab legs and all the regular sides. Crab is offered seasoned crab boil style or plain steamed, make sure to wander around. Overall: I love to eat good, I'm not crazy about flights, hotels or hardware stores because I don't think value necessarily is affected by where you go. (There are a few exceptions) I think service flavors cuisine, Here the service isn't adding a respectively great flavor. Sure if you spend a lot of money here you should get some priority but even Vegas doesn't forget about the little guy. I felt sorry for the people with kids in the line. Even though my server was slower than forest growth I still tipped them. But like value lost the taste was unpleasant. If you don't like being exposed to prejudice I assure you the 'regular line' WILL make you feel like you have no civil rights. But if you're able to suffer all that for a few rounds of delicious crab then you should go right on ahead, don't let me stop you

As far as the food goes, the selection isn't as quite as good as it used to be, but still pretty good and a lot of value. I always like the Asian wok option and the meat station where you can get prime rib. I also like the gelato option for desert but I miss the banana cream pie. As far as the service there were two different interactions that made me feel this way. The first was at the Asian wok station I asked when the meat options were, and instead of giving me the 3 options, the lady pointed to a sign that was not close enough to read where I was standing. Our server also ignored both me and my wife when we asked if we could get a drink refill on two separate occasions. The riverside setting made for a relaxing atmosphere and was a great place to spend a summer afternoon. We started with the Crab & Salmon Cakes, and they were outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and each cake had a perfectly crisp exterior while remaining delicate inside. You could clearly taste both the crab and salmon, and the slightly spicy aioli complemented them perfectly without overpowering the seafood. For cocktails, I ordered the Tequila Mockingbird, and it was excellent. The mezcal's smoky flavor came through clearly, almost reminding me of a good Scotch, yet it had just enough sweetness to keep it balanced. If you enjoy spirit-forward cocktails that aren't overly sweet, I'd highly recommend it. My wife ordered the Razz Jazz and later the Rosé All Day. She loved the Razz Jazz, describing it as refreshing, lightly sweet, and lemony, with enough alcohol flavor to remind you it's a cocktail without being overpowering. The Rosé All Day was another refreshing choice and perfect for a warm afternoon on the patio. For lunch, we ordered the French Dip and the Tri-Tip Sandwich. The French Dip was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rich au jus. The Tri-Tip Sandwich was loaded with smoky, well-seasoned beef on fresh bread. It was a bit richer than I personally prefer, but the quality of the meat was undeniable. The fries were a standout in their own right, perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. Wild River Grille isn't the least expensive lunch in town, but the quality of the food, expertly crafted cocktails, attentive service, and beautiful riverside patio made it feel well worth the price. And baked potatoes were also over-baked. See pictures. Elk Chop - My buddy recommended that I try this. I was thinking between this or my usual ribeye or prime rib. The waiter also said to go for it. Sorry, I regret getting this. My dish was over cooked also. The waiter recommended rare, I asked for Medium rare but I think it came medium...
