The fish was tasty. But the batter was way to much and way too greasy. I peeled the batter off and just ate the fish. Had a few of the fries. They'd been sitting under the heating lamp way too long. The Fishwich is really good, one of my fiancés and I go to meal. The sauce they put on the sandwich pairs really well with the Siracha Aioli and Tartar sauce. Dirty fries #1 is really good, Dirty #2 is good but not as good as Dirty #1. The staff is really nice here. read more

I was really excited to try this place. Big fan of Gordon Ramsay. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. Please note that this is located in a casino so you need to go into into the casino to try it. But the staff was just sooo slow. The line was long and while they had a lot of staff everyone was just so sad looking and moving at a snails pace. It took me 25 minutes to get my food and all I got was fried fish and chips/fries. I saw lots of people returning their orders due to multiple mix ups. Once I received my food I was pleasantly surprised at the box and how it presented itself when it came out. The sauces were good. Tartar sauce and sriracha aioli I picked. The fish and fries were hot and the fish was tender and flaky. Although the batter was a bit strange. Kind of sticky and pulled apart from the fish when you bit into it. I did not like it at all. Fries were good. Decent size portion. I hope his other restaurants are better. read more

The fish was nicely battered and not greasy at all. I also got the bacon dirty chips and it was also delicious. Fries were crispy. Bacon was not overly cooked. Just enough cheese. I dropped by Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips located inside the Silver Legacy (closer to the Circus-Circus side). When I arrived at the restaurant, it had just opened for lunch (11:00 a.m.) but the kitchen staff is already in full swing, cooking up a storm in anticipation of the upcoming orders. There were several people in line and waiting at the restaurant but the crowd was still pretty light. I ordered the lobster and shrimp combo box with sea salted fries ($20- the priciest item on the menu); it comes with 2 sauces of your choice (I got Gordon's signature tartar sauce and a curry mango sauce). I also ordered an additional piece of fish and a chicken "strip" (which was more like a half of chicken breast) plus the Biscoff shake; the grand total came out to about $50! Yup a hefty price tag BUT it came out to two meals, so it's only a little over the average fast food meal price tag nowadays which can range from $15-$20 per person, and Ramsay's is definitely a far superior product. Ok, the food: the sea salt fries were great fresh; once it got cold like most restaurant fries, even when reheated in an air fryer. It's inedible. The lobster tail was good, worthy of trying out at least once but not mind-blowing; it's a lobster tail, deep fried. I wouldn't order it again. The shrimp that came in lobster and shrimp combo was awesome however; it was huge plump pieces of shrimp, well-seasoned and lightly battered. I was a fan! The chicken strip too was great; a good portion size, this item is definitely the best bang for your buck because the combo is the least expensive on the menu (roughly $15). The fish plank was alright the cod tasted fresh but a bit bland; nothing to write home about.?The real star of the menu is actually the batter: crispy and light, not too greasy but with a perfect amount of crunchiness. Hands down the best thing I ordered was the Biscoff shake because one sip and I unapologetically guzzled that shake down like Daniel Plainview was after it! (Insert: Daniel Day-Lewis in "There Will Be Blood" reference here). Anyhow, it was delicious and I would go back to Gordon's Fish and Chips just for that; if only they had a separate line or a stand-alone drink cart selling it by itself like the Butterbeer carts at Universal Studios. The restaurant has a very casual vibe, the ordering process is a bit intimidating at first but the cashier was more than happy to educate any novice customers. Overall, the ambiance was fairly chill once you get through the ordering process. One tip is that the chicken takes longer to fry up than the rest of the menu items, so there will be a bit of a wait for that but other than that my initial visit was a positive one; I will definitely have to bring my family with me next time or just go back there for that Biscoff shake. read more

What an exciting start to a three day weekend upon learning that Gordon Ramsay's Fish and Chips was open. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of a line and wait times. But they had a steady system down. Not only that but we were offered samples of the Biscoff shake while in line. Score! The line was out the door but it appeared to move semi-steady. There were two cash registers open, and menus posted up front and on a side pillar. Similar to the Vegas location, it's a grab a seat as you see them open so that was a bummer as there were people at the very end of the line holding seats so that those of us that had just picked out number had to circle around like a hawk to find the next opening. Thankfully there were some seats that opened on the outer part of the restaurant. I enjoyed the variety of dirty fries and the different sauces for the fish. I went with the three fish and chips and the Dirty #2- Truffle, Parmesan Cheese, Chives and Parsley. I went with the Gordon's Tartar, Curry and Mango, and Dijon Mayonaise. I was offered an add on with shrimp so went with that. The box was busting out with food but everything was so fresh and amazing. I actually had fish and chips from another big name English celebrity hehe but these were phenomenal. Perfect texture and taste. I was debating a shake but thought that it may be too much so was kicking myself afterwards. The good news is it's here in town so shouldn't take much to venture down there. The food was great!! It was my mom's first time here and I was excited for her to try it. We ordered our food and waited a while but we didn't mind because we knew it was busy. The same guy that took our order at the register came over to clean up around us and noticed we had been waiting a while and took initiative to check on our order. He let us know it was being worked on now, offered us free water, shakes, we told him it's okay but thank you. He was very nice, he kept checking on us afterwards. It was really busy when I arrived, and I must've waited at least 25 minutes in line. However, I'll give them credit--they were very efficient at getting the food out, and it was fresh to order. There was an issue with the cash register that caused a delay after I had already waited, but when I finally received the food, it was very crispy and fresh. I've eaten at the Las Vegas location multiple times. Very consistent and very good. I understand this location barely opened up, so hopefully this gets them to address some of the issues we encountered. It seemed like our order did not get over to the kitchen after ordering, so they manually had to look at our receipt to start the order. The wait time was not unreasonable, but everyone else got their food much quicker. We did end up receiving our order, but the lobster box was missing one piece so I had to go to the counter to request another. They said they would bring a fresh piece of lobster to our table... Which they did not... We had to go up again and ask for it. As far as the food, the chips were solid and so was the shrimp and lobster... Unfortunately the fish was overbattered or undercooked... There was uncooked batter underneath the cooked portion. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but there is something wrong in their cooking process. It did not seem like there was a line manager to keep everything running smoothly as there were numerous opportunities that could have been corrected if someone was directing the staff appropriate. This is a mediocre place that is overpriced. We ordered 3 shrimp and lobster baskets and one plain fish. We also ordered one of every kind of the fries. The batter on the fish, shrimp and lobster was cooked good and was not too thick. The fries were seasoned appropriately and cooked crispy and hot. We also got 3 milkshakes, 2 biscoft and 1 sticky toffee and 1 soda The shakes were exquisite. The shakes were super thick with lots of flavor. All of that cost $154. If the price was half that, I'd give this a 4 star; however, I'd only give this a 2/5 star due to the ridiculous price. The line was long when we got there but it moved quick and service was efficient. There is family without any food on their table basically taking the whole 8 people table and it stay empty before and after our dinner there. The staff couldn't do anything, so we have to sit at outdoor have a very strong smoking smells. It was very hard to enjoy the meal. I ordered the fish with truffle fries and the shrimp with jalapeño fries and the biscotti smoothie which taste great and super creamy. The problem is the cashier ordered the lobster and shrimp, instead of the shrimp package. Gordon Ramsey should consider opening his restaurants at casino that doesn't have a strong smoking smells. My kids have hard time breathing in the legacy casino where the restaurant is located. read more
