The fish and shrimp were delicious, but we found the fries to be a hard no. In fact, both my husband and I jokingly pretended to be Gordon Ramsay and wanted to send them back! Before we talk about the yummy food I have to give huge kudos to the staff that provided great customer service. All of the staff was attentive, smiling and helpful! I ordered the lobster and shrimp box, the spicy ranch sauce and tartar sauce were great! The breading on both were great!!! The place was a bit small however there are plenty of seating. Upon first impression, I was wondering what they would sell besides just fish and chips but they also have shrimp, lobster, and chicken. We got the regular fish and chips with tar tar sauce and Dijon mayonnaise, as well as the shrimp and chips with the smoky ranch and siraracha aioli. Both came with dirty fries (chorizo & jalapeños and truffle). Both entrees were crispy, delicious, and moistened to perfection, however surprisingly the battered shrimp knocks it out the ballpark for me than the fish. The fish wasn't bad but the shrimp is just so fluffy, soft, and amazingly salty that they easily overshadowed the fish. The dirty fries were ok, a bit soggy but the truffle fries are the best in my opinion. There are an assortment of sauces to choose from but my favorite from our selection had to be tar tar sauce and sriracha aioli. Overall a great location for a packed lunch, however both meals were extremely over priced, rounded to around $50 for both lunch boxes. Still would come here again though! read more

I prefer the shrimp, then fish then lobster. The fries crispy and I prefer the sea salt fries. The biscotti shake is good but I wish it could be a bit colder. The chicken strip is huge! The Sticky Toffee Pudding Pops were a fried version on GR's famous Sticky Toffee Pudding, which I am a fan of so this was a clever way to serve it at a fast food style restaurant. Highly recommend. I wasn't expecting him to have a fleet of restraints in the Reno/Tahoe area but was excited to try the British classic of fish and chips from the legend himself. Parking is attached to the casino and is super winding and honestly a bit of a pain to navigate. The restaurant itself is not that far from the lobby, just past the other Ramsay restaurant. Decor is very British, but loud and smells of cigarettes from nearby. Food here is good though, albeit a bit overpriced but you're paying for the celebrity cred. We tried a lobster and shrimp box and a traditional fish and chips box and the seafood was fried and salted very well. The lobster was meh but the fish was moist and crispy and the shrimp was large and plump. The batter is super thin and super crisp but sometimes slides off the protein in a large shell chunk. Sauce options are all very good. The tartar was our favorite for sure. Mango curry was interesting but not my jam (but can see why others would love it). Southwest ranch was neither here nor there. And there's always malt vinegar for that old school chip shop feel. We also tried the dirty fries and if you like chorizo, it's very good and they load it up. Contrary to some of the other reviews here, the fries were very crisp and fresh when we got them. A+. Lastly, wouldn't be Ramsay without some sticky toffee, this time in pop form. It's basically a fried funnel cake encasing luxurious sticky toffee pudding ball, with butterscotch sauce and whipped cream to dip. 3 to an order and it's decadent for sure. I prefer his normal sticky toffee pudding to this but this is more shareable if you're with a group. All in all, great casual offering from the man who calls you an idiot sandwich. read more

I watch all his shows including his at home videos on YouTube, I have all his cookware (that I could get from Costco ;) roadshows) and here I finally made it to one of his restaurants (the ones in Vegas are always booked when I'm there). The fries themselves were all shapes and sizes, some tender some crunchy. Beatles-era music playing with the Union Jack painted everywhere. The fish was nice and tender, but as Gordon would say, "bland" but then again, English food is on the bland side. My favorite sauce was the Sriracha Aioli. I also tried Gordon's tartar which was very light almost like plain yogurt. I also tried the Dijon mustard and cocktail sauce. I kept going back to the aioli. We aren't usually in a mood for all deep fried dinner, but my kids are enamored with Gordon Ramsay so we thought this would be fun for them to try. We went on a Thursday night and disappointed to see the shake machine was being cleaned so no Sticky Toffee milkshake for us. It's a very casual fast food type set up, order at the counter and you pick up when they call your order. We decided to share 3 box meals between the 4 of us. We decided on a shrimp (5), fish(3), and chicken(3) box and went for the cheese and bacon dirty fries for one order and plain on the rest. The pricing for the food wasn't really that bad in my opinion, but drinks are expensive. We got 1 fountain drink, 1 beer, and asked for 2 cups for water which was happily provided. With the locals discount (I signed up for the players card solely for the 20% discount) all of this came under $60. Actually pretty reasonable these days for a family of 4. The food is cooked to order and hot and fresh. I thought all the proteins were tasty but thought the chicken was a bit too salty, seasoned really nicely but too salty. The rest of my party actually liked the chicken best. After eating the chicken the fish batter did taste bland in comparison, but I still liked the fish best. We tried cocktail, tartar, curry, and southwest ranch. I think the tartar was the best of them. The chips were just ok, they didn't really soak in the malt vinegar and we had a lot of them left.
