I want to start by saying I didn't order the fish or chips. I came for the sticky toffee pudding pops. They were good but super rich and sweet fried in a batter into cake pop form and came with the whipped cream and caramel sauce on the side. I enjoyed the first one but could not make it through the 2nd. They came in a set of 3 cake pops in a pretty package. The server suggested adding a biscoff shake to enjoy. It was good but very sweet and light in the biscoff flavor.

We ordered a 3 piece fish and asked for crispy fries No. 3. The fries were so soggy. next time we will ask for extra crispy fries with the no. 3 toppings on the side.

Yes, I was tourist trapped bc of the name. I figured, I gotta try it at least once. I ordered the shrimp basket based on the reviews with the tartar and cocktail sauce. The cocktail sauce was spectacular! The shrimp was not bad. It would have been better if it was not so OILY! I ended up removing the coating and ate the shrimp itself which was really good. The shrimp itself tasted fresh. Service was okay. They did make sure I got in and out fast. It was a typical fast food restaurant style. Nothing too special except for the name. It was nice to see open windows to the kitchen so you could see exactly what they were doing. Should you go? Sure. Just to say you have been there. Repeat dining? If they could soak up the oil a bit before serving, maybe. It was just an okay experience.

So... This Ramsey restaurant has some pretty good fish fry. Even to a point where i say its better that one of our go to fish n chip spots in east san jose. I feel like the fish portion combod with the light n criispy batter help make the meal really enjoyable. The seasoning isn't too salty and has good flavor. The crispy coating has a nice crunch and is not hekka greasy the way some place make their fried fish....you know, where the fish inside is kinda skimpy and then when you break a fried fish piece in half then the batter cover slips off on its own like a sleeve and then your fingers got all that oil n ish. The batter on these Ramsey fish actually stay stuck coated on to the fish meat We ordered a few fish n chips combos, we tried the lobster n shrimp combo...this one us pretty good. Real crispy coats on the lobster meat and even on the tail shell, fried crispy to where you can even eat n chew some the shell and swallow em down without choke. Oh and get the durrty fries, oohh wee those are yummy. ...wash oll this down with a soda or a beer if you bring your in with you. Overall: if ur staying at Circus Circus, this is a good fish n chips place to enjoy...the whole family will like the food here. Get the kids a milkshake also

Made a quick stop here and had to check it out. I ordered one meal to split with my boyfriend since we weren't that hungry and it sure was enough. Worth trying and the sauces are delicious. Parking was super easy and dining your way inside was super quick and easy

You order before you sit. The menu is simple in 3 steps. Pick shrimp, lobster, chicken or fish. Then pick the types chips (fries) then the sauce. We picked fish(3), dirty #3 chips (bacon, cheddar, onion, sour cream). Go look for a table to seat yourself and you're given a number. Everything was tasty for a quick meal. The pieces were big, crispy, and flavorful.

Not sure what happened but the lobsters were overcooked this time around. Sadly, they were dry and chewy in texture. The fish were also overcooked, yet the chips were soggy. Gordon Ramsay please come over and fix things here in Reno.

We wanted to check this spot out a couple years ago when they first opened in Reno but the day we arrived they were unexpectedly closed. This time around we caught them while open. There a line to order but the line moved pretty fast. The fish and chips were really good. Fresh crispy fish and the chips were excellent. The tartar sauce was some of the best I've ever tried. My only critique about this restaurant is the pricing of some of their drinks. $5 for a bottled Dasani water? And $5 for a sweet tea in a 12 Oz. cup? A little outrageous if you ask me. But overall this is a nice spot to check out.

Wow!!!! Fish & shrimp & chips was awesome!!!! But let me tell ya about the fried lobster,,,,,OHMy!!!! Looking back i should have eaten the tail,,,, so Fing good!!!!!

I was looking forward to a quick dinner prior to a show and Fish and Chips sounded good. So it is a fast food atmosphere which I am great with although all the available tables were dirty and no staff available to clean up so I had to clear a table and wipe it down with a napkin which isn't the ideal. After ordering our meal it took less than 10 min when it was ready (great). The fish was very meaty and plentiful the batter was light and greasy and I do expect greasy, the down fall was it lacked flavor even after added malt vinegar, we also shared a lobster tail which did not have a lot of meat to it, made in same fish batter(good) but was over cooked, very rubbery and last was the shrimp, same good batter and shrimp was cooked perfectly. I won't be going out of my way to return but I would not say don't try it.

Got the lobsters and shrimp with chicken tender add on, and the fish and chips box. Lobster and shrimp were flavorful, chicken tender was more on the dark meat/peppery side which was ok. Fish was nice, not too flavorful unless with the sauces. Chips were salty and filling. Service was kind and quick. Place has plenty of seating inside and outside.

The food tasted good, but sadly, I was disappointed. It's a nice set up. Just a nice simple "chip shop" you walk in, place your order at the counter, and have a seat. They call you when your order is ready. I went for the basic fish and chips, I didn't go with the "dirty options" on my chips. They looked Good, but it would've been just too much food. For my sauces, I had the standard tartar sauce and the Dijon aïoli. I would've loved to try the mango curry sauce, but they were out. The food comes, and it was a generous portion. The fish was lightly breaded, I liked the breading, and it was a very high-quality flaky fish. The chips were overall crisp on the outside, and very tender on the inside. The two sauces were great for dipping. So why three stars? The food was just way too oily! I don't know if the oil wasn't the right temperature when they fried it, , but I could definitely taste it in the food. Not only that, but you eat fish and chips with your hands. My fingers were just glistening with oil. After the meal, you could see the oil all over the table top. It definitely took away from the meal. The fish, chips, and the soda, I was out the door roughly $23 after tax. It would've been worth it, just not for what I got. I don't think I'll be back. Thanks anyway.

Wife and I wanted to hit Either Ramsays Kitchen , or his Fish & Chips place. Since it was lunchtime, only Fish and Chips was open, so there we went Place is clean looking, plenty of seating, Several options for building your box, including paying extra for dirtying up your chips, and selecting 2 from the 6 available types of sauce to dip. Wife got standard Fish and regular Sea Salt chips, + 2 of the Tartar sauce. It came with 3 nice pieces of Fish , that were very good on flavor, the batter was firm but light, and the tartar sauce wasnt overly heavy except on flavor. I went with the Lobster & Shrimp, with one siracha aioli sauce(great flavor, a little spicy but not overly), and 1 regular tarter(tangy) Lobster tail was nicely battered, full of great flavor and paired well with either sauce. Our chips (fries) were firm, nicely browned and quite tasty. The restaurant was an order at the counter, and seat yourself, retrieving your food when your number was called. Plenty of seating, and a nice selection of Rock music from English bands from 60's and 70's. Wife and I loved the whole vibe, food and look forward to returning on any future trips.

Mexican, Chinese, American, a station where they would make a salad for you, pho, Mongolian BBQ, a Carvery station with all kinds of different choices, including ham, prime, rib, and even sausage. They had a dessert section, including cobbler, bread, pudding, cakes, cookies, pie, large selection of gelato, even cotton candy! They also had a selection of sugar-free desserts. Everything that I ate was amazing. Some of the things, The shrimp were fresh, the Mexican choices were good, I loved the dim sum, and I had both prime rib and some of the sausage. They had both salmon, and trout, and both of those were amazing as well. For dessert, I had a rocky Road gelato, (very creamy with lots of goodies inside...) the cobbler and the bread, pudding. the bread pudding was just the right consistency and delicious, the cobbler was nice and warm. I paid about $41 with the senior discount. If you are a senior or military/veteran, you have it added to your players card, and you qualify for the discount. Definitely worth it for the quality and quantity of the food. An excellent meal. I would gladly come back. Thank you.

Prices are high as expected in this type of setting. But if you have deep pockets and a seafood craving it should fit the bill. Most if my experience is eating the AYCE sushi here. Yes it's about $12 more per person that if you want to AYCE outside the hotel, but the local's 20% discount evens it up. Selection is more limited than most AYCE menu's. Probably the most limited in Reno based on my experience. They don't have things like scallop, unagi, surf clam nigiri. Mussels only available as nigiri sushi not as an appetizer. Etc. Roll menu is decent, you will find something you like if you are into rolls. They are HUGE, so recommend ordering a half long roll when possible. They also have a selection of hand rolls. We got the Salmon Skin Hand Roll which was pretty mediocre as the salmon skin was overcooked, very dry and crunchy like it was a bit burnt. Fish quality it typically on par with the average AYCE place in Reno but overall a half step down from one of the most popular AYCE places just a few blocks North (Tokyo sushi) which is a madhouse during prime hours with long waits so if you can get seated quickly here the convenience of it being in the hotel may be the better choice especially if you want a nicer, special ocassion atmostphere. Service at the bar was not very good this time around. Waited 20 min for them to come get our card to pay. But generally at the bar, because you can order directly from the chef, the server doesn't have to come very often except to get dessert order or drink order. If they had a wider selection on the AYCE sushi menu and some of the texture of the fish (Salmon) was more firm and less mushy, it could be a 5-star experience.
