May 2026 Our experience was wonderful! The service was amazing, treated us like gold. The restaurant is beautiful, love white tablecloth service. Our food was delicious! Drinks and dessert were on point. Thank you!

I had previously been to their flagship location in NYC and that was one of one of the best meals I had ever had, so expectations were high coming in. The LV location lived up to it. Food, service was excellent all around. We were a party of 6 and everyone raved about their food. I got the Porterhouse which I'm still thinking about a week later. Highly recommended!

I visited Gallaghers during my convention in Las Vegas and the food was spectacular. I ordered the Gallaghers Signature steak, the potatoes and asparagus. I had the smokey old fashion to drink. Every bite was amazing. Food is cooked perfectly, amazing chefs here. The service is next level as well. I was served by Billy and Arica, two of the most supreme staff members I have ever encountered. I rate this place a 10/10. If it's a birthday, anniversary, or if it's just a random Tuesday like it was for me, enjoy the dark, wooden white table atmosphere and soak in the perfect selections of oldies playing in the rooms. It's right in the heart of New York New York and the vibe is classic, I will 100% be back!

Was in town on a getaway with the fellas and the trip would not be complete unless we hit a steakhouse. The service was spectacular. From the moment we walked in we were well taken care of. We had wine and some drinks. For our mains half of us got the ribeye and the other half got a cut they called the Gallagher's special (or something like that which was a 7-8 oz cut from the ribeye). We got some mashed potatoes, spring beans, spinach and brussel sprouts as sides. Though the sides are served as family style, the portion size is not that big but the steaks more than make up for it. The steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection and everyone enjoyed. The price was about what you would pay for a steakhouse anywhere else. Overall it was a great expereince and I would highly recommend.

I returned again to Gallagher's after their remodel and had a an overall similar experience. The dining room is obviously much nicer now and is larger and more spacious. We had a large party, and the server was quite knowledge and friendly and attentive. I had the aged rum cocktail to start which was very tasty and fairly strong. Complimentary bread was provided, but it was kind of standard and fairly boring compared to the varieties offered at other strip steakhouses. I had the Caesar salad which was quite good overall but nothing terribly outstanding. I had the pork chop entree which came with potato puree and green beans. The pork was the highlight of the meal and was tender and juicy. The potato puree was honestly lukewarm and kind of boring. The green beans were also fairly standard. For dessert I had the toffee pudding. It was quite sweet and tasty, but the presentation was highly disappointing for a premium strip steakhouse (see photo). Overall, this was again a decent steakhouse experience but is far below what one would expect for a strip steakhouse.

Great date night at Gallagher's! When we arrived, there was an AWESOME photographer who took some photos of us that we purchased on our way out after dinner, what a fun addition! Good selection of cocktails and wine in addition to good food selection and add-ons. Service was impeccable and we were definitely well taken care of! Will be adding this to our list of "return to" places for future Vegas trips!

Gallagher's has become our g o-to steak place in Vegas. It's reasonable and has a nice, relaxing, but upscale feel, which we appreciate. The service has always been top-notch, and the food is exactly what we expect. We've been here maybe 10 times, and there are always inconsistencies with the steak. Different cuts and chefs can make a difference. With that, there are times I've liked it better than others, but even if it's a worse day, it's pretty dang good. I suggest everyone at the table get something different. The portions are big enough to share and you're going to find something you really love!

Always Worth It Great service and friendly people await you at the bar at Gallagher's in the NYNY Hotel and Casino. Oh yeah. Great steak too. I have my usual here, as I do at many places. A bottle of the Educated Traveler $75 that never disappoints to start with my wedge $16 that sadly has gotten smaller. Not that I need more food. Next let's fire the Cowboy (bone in) Rib-Eye $75 cooked medium rare, because that's the correct way, with a side of creamed spinach $15. I also ask for some sea salt from the kitchen so after I slice up the steak I can sprinkle some on. It's a lot of food and I always have leftovers but it's worth it. There are so many top notch steakhouse within walking distance (Ocean Prime & Joe's Seafood but get the bone in filet) that I still visit when I'm in town but Gallagher's is always on my list. Cheers to the chefs and great team at the bar. I'll see you next time. Or maybe again tonight.

Located inside New York New York casino. I've wanted to try them for a while they display aged steaks in the window... if I ever rob a casino that's what I'm stealing. I'm a steak guy. I eat a lot of steak. I mean I don't love steak I just tell it I do so it will sleep with me...this was probably within the top 3 steaks in a lifetime of eating steak. I had a waiter and an assistant waiter. That seemed to be the norm. Both were polite, well turned out and efficient. The restaurant was very classic steakhouse vibe, not a complaint. I was torn between the ribeye and the bison ribeye and the waiter was able to explain the difference. I went with the ribeye. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The dry aging made it melt like butter. My mouth is watering typing this... paired it with a loaded baked potato. You can't really mess up a loaded baked potato and they didn't. I also had the French onion soup. Again a fairly simple soup but it sometimes falls short. This one did not. It was everything i look for in onion soup. They served a crusty bread and dipped in the soup it was a really nice combo. There was also a cranberry bread that just worked. Basically I gave it 5 stars because 6 wasn't an option.

Went to Gallagher's for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing. The drinks were really good also! The environment was calm, quiet, and elegant! Our server was Jess.. and let me just say... AMAZING service. She was friendly and hospitable with me and my mom. She attended to us and made us feel right at home rather than regular customers. We are frequent visitors of Vegas and the New York - New York establishment. We will be back every single time to dine with Jess. Thank you Jess for everything! Gallagher's is now our favorite place to eat.

We come every year when we visit! The tomahawk here is my favorite out of all of the places I've tried. The employees are always very kind and welcoming. The cocktails are also phenomenal. I'd recommend booking a reservation at least a day in advanced.

10/21/2025 - Still an amazing restaurant. Great atmosphere and service. It has an old time NY restaurant. And all the staff is very friendly and attentive. The aged steak is still one of my favorites. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's needs no sauce. The cocktails are very made too. I recommend sharing if you're staying in Vegas because most hotel rooms don't have refrigerators.

I think its a bit unfair the very first time I was here 14 years ago with my friends. I went again and again for the next 13 years and sometimes the steak was awesome and sometimes it was bad, but their king crab was always really good. The service has always been good and its a place I enjoy myself at. The atmosphere is nice and it feels at home. Idk I haven't gone back to give a better review. They deserve better stars.

At $49.95 per person, it's a stellar deal in this brutal economy and a Strip full of Caesars upcharges. We didn't have a reservation because it's lunch time so the hostess sat us at a tiny table with skinny and uncomfortable chairs, which meant my big and tall man had zero chance of being comfortable. After noticing plenty of empty tables in the main dining room, we asked to be moved and were told "reservations only." So I made a reservation on my phone for five minutes later, walked back up, and checked in. I wish you could've seen her face. After wasting our time, we finally got a normal table. The food is great. The burger is made from the same dry-aged prime beef used for their famous steaks, with melted American cheese that adds a touch of nostalgia. It comes with a large ring of raw onions - I tried it, but it's not for me, so off it went. The bun is intentionally simple, allowing the beef to shine. The fries were crispy with a soft interior. The steak sandwich with caramelized onions also hit the spot. They also brought out a generous side of their signature steak sauce, which ended up being used on everything. Tangy, a little sweet, and reminiscent of a German-style sauce I've had before. Very addictive. Save room for dessert, because their hot fudge sundae is no joke. The fudge is so dense... We'll be back to try a steak and next time make a reservation so we don't have to deal with the hostess circus again. 3.5 stars for an overall first impression but it would have been higher if this restaurant understood who keeps their lights on.

The first floor of the restaurant was very cool! You could see the cuts of meat in the refrigerators and there is also a bar on the left of the entrance. There was a beautiful chandelier by the staircase as well. The upstairs dining area was very plain however. Bare walls, industrial type of standard light fixtures. The server recommended the skirt steak which we ordered MR. Also ordered the ribeye, portobello mushrooms fries and the steak tartare to start. I've never seen a steak tartare come out brown as it shows in the photo. I was so hungry, so I tried some, assuming the kitchen wouldn't send out bad raw meat. It tasted ok but the more I kept eating the weirder I felt about the color. We asked the manager if this was a common occurrence as my experience with steak tartare had never been this way. She said that it shouldn't come out brown and said she'd take it off the menu. She then later came back to explain that the lime juice that's in the marinade oxidizes the raw beef so that's why it's brown... which is an acceptable answer I suppose? It just felt weird bc I couldn't find any photos of browned steak tartare on google when looking up the restaurant menu. The steaks we ordered MR came out. The ribeye was cooked decently but the skirt steak was more on the rare side so we had to send it back for an oven heat up for 1 more minute. I enjoyed the skirt steak but it was too sweet to enjoy the whole thing. Cooking it in the oven for another minute made it even sweeter. It tasted like over sweetened Korean galbi in steak form. I'd say the portobello fries was my favorite dish and decided to take the rest to go to pick at in the hotel. After dinner we were given the dessert menu which didn't really call out to me, but since we told the server it was our anniversary, they gave us complimentary sorbet which was very nice. I liked the sorbet quite a lot but I was pretty full so didn't get to enjoy much of it. The gesture was kind though. At the end, the steak tartare was not taken off our receipt so we had to ask for that to be taken off since the manager told us she'd do that. The server gladly obliged. I want to say, that there was a female employee - maybe a busser, who worked really hard to be attentive with our waters and clearing our plates. I wish I got her name! I believe she was Latina with a ponytail if that helps at all working Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend at 6PM. All in all, the experience was not as great as my husband's first time at the Henderson location - he said the cuts were so much bigger before and the ambience of the Henderson location was more fine dining-esque. But the economy is tough lately so I figured the quality could've easily gone down. Because the price points were very reasonable, I thought it was up to par with what we paid. Probably won't go back unfortunately but it was great to try it out. The plaza it is in is called Trivoli(?) and I thought it was a cute spot with a lot of shops. Although everything was closed by 8, we walked around to digest a little and enjoyed the evening.
