Freaking delicious crispy Vietnamese chicken salad. I would order this weekly if it were available in my local area (and not the airport). Perfect balance of spice and crunch with fresh, fresh greens. My gin and tonic was good too, could have been a little stronger. But the bartender was very nice and accommodating, checking in with all patrons at the bar. He also made sure to check in with new patrons as they were seated. Thank you Fernando G!!!! Really bad service here. I came to get a breakfast sandwich and there was a bit of line. Just to be clear I was in line around 10:55. I get to the register and I'm told sorry, it's 11:03, you can't order a breakfast sandwich. It's frustrating that they'd put 180 seconds over customer service, but I guess they don't have much repeat customers so I can see why they'd be unmotivated. I'm a big Gott's fan so was delighted to see their location at SFO. Stay away if you're hoping to eat something comparable to what you'd get at their SF Ferry Building or Walnut Creek locations. I paid more than $16 for a burger with cold cheese served on a tasteless, industrial bun. The fries were equally disappointing. I suppose if you compare this to what you'd get at any other American airport, it's acceptable but for San Francisco and especially for someone looking for a Gott's meal, it's hugely disappointing. read more

Not sure why some foodies rave about Gott's in general. The sfo airport location which I just patronized was no better than when I first tried Gott's when they opened in Walnut Creek several years ago. They prices were high due to the airport location, but that is expected so no worries. I ordered the California burger with lettuce instead of a bun. The meat is advertised as still being a little pink in the middle when served. This absolute hockey puck was past a pink middle. The extra egg helped get it down, but the eggs were among the smallest I have seen, so it was fortuitous that I doubled up. The only hot sauce available was Tapatio, so I just did the best I could with it. Extremely disappointing since they say you are getting a juicy patty. At least I didn't break a tooth. SFO Airport Gott's... Ordered the mahi mahi tacos... they advised it would be around 15 minutes... Rather it took 25 minutes and the fish must have been forgotten in the fryer. Chunks of granite would have been more tender. I'm glad I didn't choke or crack a tooth. Tossed the fish and ate the cabbage drenched in green salsa instead. They also have a Bar and if you sit at the Bar you can order food and it will be served there which I prefer to pick it up myself. The woman served us are two sandwiches, but do not serve the fries so I asked her for our fries, she looked at me with a Schmier, and then started to dig in the trash for the receipt. When she found the receipt, she reached into the fry area with her gloves that she had dug into the trashcan with, and serve me, the fries, I said mess, you just dug in the trashcan with those gloves, she put the fries back into the fry, waiting area, changed her gloves and got me a new box of fries, however, somebody is going to get those french fries, I thought it was extremely unhygienic. Breakfast was just Mehhh. I make better breakfast than this? And why does it take 15 mins to make these? I can make this less than 10 minutes(scrambled eggs, bacon and toast with frozen hash brown) and much more pleasing to the eyes. I wonder how their lunch is? We stopped here on a Monday afternoon catching a flight back home. We ordered the chicken tender basket with garlic fries. The food is absolutely disgusting. The bbq sauce served was terrible. They referred to the other dip as buttermilk ranch but it tasted like nothing. Not even a hint of ranch or mayo. It was so bland. The chicken tenders breading was also horrible and flavorless. The only highlight was the strawberry lemonade. But they don't tell you where to grab or find anything after you place an order yourself. The lemonade happens to be in the front on the wall and I guess you can just help yourself. They were out of ketchup, so I asked a lady on the line for some and she pointed me to the dispensers. I let her know they were empty. She was clearly very annoyed by being asked for something but did bring me a small container full of it. There is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were pretty stoked to see a Gott's at the airport, but the quality definitely isn't the same at this location. They are one of the few businesses open in the area at 9am and we were craving a breakfast burrito so it met our needs. We got the adobo chicken breakfast burrito (a steep $16 item), which comes with chicken, eggs, crispy potatoes, and sour cream. It was pretty disappointing I have to say - the chicken was dry and the burrito was small for a whopping $16. What's even weirder is that there was sour cream on the OUTSIDE of the tortilla?! That was a first. Some redeeming qualities of this Gott's location are its menu (they have salads, wraps, burgers, appetizers), it's location (tons of beautiful light pouring in through the surrounding windows), and the Sir Kensington's ketchup they have to self serve. That is some damn good ketchup. If you need something really quick, they have salads, wraps, and drinks to quickly grab n go. read more

I ordered a California Burger ($14.75), Onion Rings ($4.75), and a large bottle of Dasani Water ($4.50). The burger was on the small side, and while it had a lot of ingredients, it lacked flavor. I found myself using a lot of ketchup on what should've been a decent burger. As for the onion rings, they were out of them... ...I opted for the garlic fries, which were hard and not flavorful, just oily. If it wasn't for the cashier being a good guy, I would give Gott's Roadside one star. $13 for a lighter than air breakfast sandwich on sourdough bread which is as structurally sound as Wonder. Service is hideous and makes me want to adopt anorexia as a hobby. It's a very large and open space which I imagine would be pleasant during a long wait and if you wanted a drink (attractive bar area). Food was decent here, although the line to order is quite long and takes a while. My husband and I both got burgers with fries to share. Our food took about 20 minutes to come out and tasted decent although it wasn't anything to write home about. Because this is one of only a few food options in the international departure wing, the tables fill up very quickly.
