I am a die hard gourmet latte fan. I am so addicted to getting myself a little treat from here, some weeks I go almost every day. GL uses great beans for their espresso, the espresso flavor is so rich and delicious. Though I'd rather buy my coffees straight from here, we buy bags of their beans for when we need to make our drinks at home. If you want a straight forward latte, they got you. But, they can also make you almost any drink of any flavor that you can imagine. They can make energy drinks, Italian sodas, cold brews, smoothies, milkshakes, horchatas, iced teas, and more. I always like to get crazy flavors - white chocolate raspberry iced latte, blue raspberry coconut energy drinks, iced maple chai, green apple caramel, etc. the staff is so friendly, and many of them remember my go to order. Make sure to get the rewards card and swipe every time you go, you'll get a free drink every 12th time. read more

Before I came to Seattle I never knew that there are this small coffee kiosks through the state. There are several locations of Gourmet latte throughout the Seattle area and this one is located along a pretty busy roadway so getting in and out might be an issue depending on when you go. My espresso drink was made before my eyes and was quite tasty. I agree that there are a lot of add ons if you are not careful . For example a large cafe americano only comes with 2 shots where at some other coffee houses 4 shots is the norm. However that being said my drink was well executed and gave me the needed jolt to start my day. read more

In Seattle you can get coffee damn near everywhere. Personally I avoid starsucks like the plague so I tend to go to independent stands. Out of all the little ma & pa type stands you can go to; Gourmet Latte is hands down the best. I go to this stand at least 4 times a week, and admittedly sometimes twice a day since it is so close to my office. Coffee in the morning, protein smoothie for lunch. Tiffany and the other ladies are always kind, professional, friendly, and the drinks never fail to be fantastic. I love that I can pull up to the window and they don't even have to ask me what I want. If you need the brown nectar of the wake up gods and are tired of the pretentious chode vibe in bigger chain coffee places where you have to order cups in Italian then I suggest you pay them a visit. read more

I have been going to this location for about 13 months now. When I first began coming to this location, there was some management (barista) changeover. For about 3 months I would see new girls all the time. Since then, they have managed to create a new consistent crew. All 4 girls are sweet, they make consistently AMAZING coffee (obviously I have come here for a year (sometimes 2x a day)) Dani is not only an amazing barista, but she is super easy to talk to. I usually have good experiences at this coffee stand, but today was not the case. We asked for two iced lattes, and by the time she had printed the total the barista had already charged me for 1. Then, we mentioned we asked for two. She still made me sign the form and asked for my card again. Of course mistakes happen and I understand that. However, this coffee shop has two extra fees (Seattle and use of card fee) so I was charged these fees twice because of their mistake, and also they were not apologetic about messing up the order just oh okay. It's a pretty standard drive-through espresso stand, much like the thousands of others in the state. But they seem to have a little extra personality and experiment with innovative syrup flavors - they have a Samoa-mocha. Enough said. My fave friendly weekend barista was on the first day of her job when I rolled up for the first time; she let me know she was a little slower than might be expected, but gave me free chocolate covered espresso beans with my order. My latte was kind of cold... but super nice gals! I can' take too much sugar so I ordered a complicated version of a signature latte that they had (double grande soy extra hot samoa latte - but just 1/2 pump of each syrup) and the barista nailed it. Only gripe - they don't serve drip coffee, only espresso. So essentially if you just want drip coffee with milk you pay almost the same as a latte. I've never had their food, but I'll post an update if I do! read more

Wonderful gourmet lattes and I had a refreshing smoothie once too. If you are tired of looking for a drive-thru starbucks and want to support your local coffee stand this is the place to do it. It is one of those drive up coffee shacks and if you have your dog with you, they'll even give you free dog treats. Say yes when they ask if you want coffee beans (chocolate-marbled espresso beans) with your coffee. I don't like coffee beans but these were tasty and they just give you a few with your drink. So nice and friendly and they have a daily trivia question so you can receive $0.25 off. I usually get the white chocolate mocha but I've had their smoothies and it was also tasty. This review is actually for the 540 Elliott Avenue location in Queen Anne; I don't see a location with the yelp address listed on their stamp card. read more

I love coffee shops that don't start with the word "Star" or end in the word "Bucks". I have been to roadside coffee houses before in the South end, but those are sketchy. You never know when your baristas are going to be dressed or not. I don't need double shot of boobies with my espresso, thanks. Gourmet Latte is not a bikini coffee stand, they serve tasty, not overly roasted espressos and what I thought was a decent price point. I rolled up last Sunday expecting a hot and fresh $2.15 for a 16oz Americano that would surely fit the bill.... Then came the "hidden fees". $0.40 for an extra espresso shot that I didn't ask for, $0.35 for using my credit card, to which the barista did not warn me of, $0.50 for requesting a flavor that was recommended by the barista. Having been quite upset that my $2.15 Americano was now $3.70, I calmly tried to ask the barista to explain about all these extra fees. Rudely, she stumbled over her words with an attitude that frankly shocked me. "That's just your total, okay?!" She smirkly commented in a valley girl accent. Goodness! That's not gourmet, that is terrible customer service. A simple, "I'm sorry I did not inform you beforehand" would have been nice. No tip for you, lady. read more

Gourmet Latte Queen Anne is a fun stop on the way to Seattle. Pros: --still consistent shots pulled - tasty and not over-bitter --Good consistent tasty drinks --Very friendly baristas (sometimes a little over-happy, but I still chuckle on the way to work if they are over the top). Cons: On the way to work into Seattle, crossing the lanes of traffic both in the stand and out can be tricky. read more

I started getting my coffee at this place because it's kinda close to work and I can get off the bus earlier and just stop by. They have a surprising variety of drinks and I try to get something new each time. The girls here are really sweet. Overall this is a great coffee stand that serves up a quality latte. The downsides is they charge to use a credit card (35 cents) and they uncharge all purchases 2% for Seattle's higher wage laws. To me, an uncharge for Seattle cost of living- as a separate line item on a receipt- is a political statement and just seems weird. There prices are about the same as Starbucks though- even with both added fees. They do not give out coffee beans unless you ask which also seems weird to me- seems like this could be something small they do to set themselves apart. read more

The only downside which is an important thing for me and maybe not so much for others is something seems off about their drinks. Now I don't mean necessarily the coffee, but I get a white chocolate mocha and it tastes different than what I'm used to from anywhere else.
