I'm disgusted. I recently had a clogged shower drain so I contacted my property management and submitted a maintenance request. GPS Plumbing must be one of their preferred plumbers because they sent one of their guys to do the job. I knew that I wasn't going to be home so my property manager left a key so the plumber can enter on his own. Now, I have two cats and a pet camera that's always recording. When I looked back at the footage of the plumber in my home, I saw him use my toilet. Would he have done that if I were home? Then later when I came home there was urine all over the seat! And the toilet flush handle was stuck and the water was still running. You're a plumber... you should know something's wrong when the sounds of water running keeps going! I was able to fix it myself but I wouldn't have had to do that if he didn't use my toilet. Overall, he got the job done and cleared the clogged but now I just feel gross and violated and will probably never let someone service my home unattended. I will also be reaching out to my property management to let them know what happened. read more

Sonia (receptionist) and Jessica ( her manager) have the worst customer service ever. We wasted our time and energy with these two unprofessional people. They always lie and they do not communicate with you at all. We scheduled a hydro jetting service up one week in advance for 8-10am but the technician didn't show up. When we called the office, Sonia said that they had an emergency and that the technician was running late and that he would be there by 12 pm. It was 2:30 already and the technician was not there yet so we called Sonia again and she said that the emergency had taken longer than what they had thought. She claimed that she had left me a voice mail and when I asked her for the phone number that she had left the message for , she gave me a different phone number. Then I asked her to transfer me to the owner, she put me on hold for over 5 min and then she told me that I could not speak with the owner and the owner didn't have a voice mail. I asked her to tell Rayan (owner) to call me back . But as of today I haven't heard from anyone from this company. I would never do business with them again and would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

He looked at it and said it wasn't covered under our builder warranty and left 2 min later. I asked him if he could repair it and he said no and left immediately. I had to write an accurate review of my experience with this business after reading the reviews after my experience with this business. I have worked with three different plumbing companies, and my experience with the work from this business is the worst by leaps and bounds. The work they did for me: 1 Kitchen pluming 2 Garbage disposal install 3 Water heater install This business did the work because my general contractor uses them, not because I picked them. 1 The Kitchen plumbing for the sink was incorrectly done, running a drain pipe for the dish washer diagonally through a cabinet (3 dimensionally) causing back pressure and the washer unable to drain. After repeated complaints, they arrived two weeks later to route the pipe properly. 2 The Garbage disposal had been reused from the previous kitchen. It had never been attached to a dish washer before. My wife repeatedly told the GPS workers this. The first run of the dishwasher resulted in a backup of waste water that resulted in the call above about the wrong pipe install. 2nd run resulted in a backup again. The 2nd visit from GPS had them blaming the washer being broken. A service call to manufacturer had a representative come out. He took 3 seconds to solve the problem, finding the knockout plug in the disposal had never been removed. How could a professional plumber miss this simple item twice? Especially after it being pointed out specifically before install! 3 Lastly we had a new tank less water heater installed. The install had hang-ups because they didn't have the correct gas hose. They also didn't have an electrical connection to wire the igniter. I scrambled to get an electrical connection while they ran to the store to get the correct gas hose. When they returned, I had the connection finished, but they installed a hose with a kinked "S" in it because they purchased a hose that was too long. Rather than buy a correct hose, they said they would return later to fix it. That didn't happen. Packing up their tools, I asked about the installation of the weather cover over the pipes, because it was sitting next to the new install. It was 4 pm, and they wanted to pack up and leave, so in their haste, they again said they would do it later. Months passed, and the kinked "S" gas hose, and the water cover were never installed. I called multiple times, and pleading followed by angry messages followed by threats resulted in only the "S" hose being replaced. Lesson learned, don't pay them until AFTER the work is done to your satisfaction. Pay first and might never see them again. I don't think this business is incompetent. They are cleanly dressed, friendly to your face, and keep their appointments when they say they will. All big plus items in the contractor category, and why I am not giving them a single star. I take issue with the quality of their work and the competence of their staff, and warn any future users that if you do have work done by GPS, you had better know how the job should be done and check it before they leave. The uneducated homeowner may well finding themselves calling a 2nd plumber to correct the problems GPS caused. read more

LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THAT JUNIOR, THE TECHNICIAN THAT GPS SENT TO DO REPAIRS IS EXCELLENT AND DESERVES 5 STARS. The rest of the story... This company was installing new gas lines throughout my mobile home park. When new lines were connected to my home, the water heater clogged with debris from the line. GPS workers told me my water heater was just old. I tried to schedule one of their service plumbers to come out and repair or replace the water heater. GPS was booked and couldn't send one out without charging me overtime. I called a plumber I picked off of the BBB A+ businesses list. This plumber (Patriot Plumbing) told me there was nothing wrong with my water heater, but the gas valve was clogged, I had it repaired, by installing another valve for $247. I was in the hospital the next day for surgery, my wife called and said the heater stopped working and the pilot wouldn't light. I then called GPS and the park owner to a) fix my heater and b) refund the money I spent on the water heater repair because it was obvious there was contamination in the lines. They promised to send out a plumber to fix the heater the next day between 8am and 10am- no show, no call until after 1pm. Apparently they were a few doors down fixing another clogged appliance. There was no charge for the repair, Junior did make things right. One star for their construction crews, these guys are not trained, not supervised and are the worst kind of unprofessional contractor. As I look out my window I can see quite a few houses with open pipes where dust, bugs and critters could enter the gas lines. Really? This could have been prevented with a piece of tape over the open pipe. Select your services from the BBB A+ list of businesses. There is a reason GPS isn't listed with BBB. read more

GPS Plumbing repaired a leak in my upstairs neighbor's bathroom that was showering water into my apartment. Penny Realty in PB managed the apartment above mine, and they were the ones who hired GPS. GPS was so efficient and I never even actually saw them. Jessica, who set up the appointment, was very friendly and helpful and even called the day before my appointment to remind to leave to leave a key for the plumber. The plumbing repairs only took a day. I believe it was GPS who came back and repaired the damaged drywall. In one day, they fixed the hole in the ceiling, and managed to match the odd paint color and unique ceiling texture exactly so it looked as if nothing happened. There were some deep scratches in the tub that I assume came from the plumber's equipment, but other than that, the repairs were done well and the process was hassle-free. read more

This morning we got up to a garage full of water. One of our pipes got busted and we couldn't believe the amount of water. I called my property management and within an hour Lindsay from GPS plumbing called to make an appointment for a tech to come out. Granted it was an emergency situation since we had to turn the water off completely so she gave me a two hours window and by 3:15pm Tony the technician was at my house and fixed the problem by less than 45mins top. When Daniel M arrived he was very friendly and started working immediately. I discovered that we had a slab leak at 5pm on a Thursday and called GPS to set up an appointment. GPS was at my house at 800am the next day and located the problem area quickly, it was under the tile floor. GPS recommended the pipe re-route to avoid future issues and costly concrete cutting, along with the floor tile repair. The job was complete in 2 days and I will be using them from now on. This company is always rushed for time. They keep your credit card on file and charge whatever they want. DO NOT PAY them with your credit card. They will keep it on file even as they tell you they will not. They schedule a time with you and show up hours late and then charge you for the amount of time as if they were there. They send inexperienced plumbers to do the job and if they fail they call in their "master plumbers" who actually do know how to do plumbing work. Unfortunately, they charge you for the trainees too. This is my story with them First time using them: I used GPS Plumbing on May 4th 2018 to do a clean out. it took the technician 15 minutes to get the water to flush and cost $250. The next day the drain was clogged again. I watched a you tube video and rented a snake from Home Depot. I learned that rather than sending the smallest possible fitting it is advisable to use several larger and larger heads to make sure the pipes are really clean and nothing is clinging to the edges that might block more paper later. After I did the job myself there was no more blockages until Nov 7th when it happened again. 2nd time using them: -I called GPS again. They charge me $250 and the water went down. It clogged up again a day or two later. They suggested I do hydro jetting. They told me it would cost $600 to $800 and that I would likely need to do this a couple times a year because I had roots. They told me they did not know how to do plumbing linings (I guess that is because they like recurring business and don't want to really fix the problem). I went to the internet and determined that there is a solution where a liner is installed that can fix the problem for good. They said they needed to do a camera inspection to determine where the roots were. I ordered it even though it was a couple hundred dollars (but they charged me significantly more than that later). Before they could get some one out there the system got clogged up again. The technician got his line all tangled up. Their "master plumber" came out and got the job done later. -I asked for the video of the camera inspection and I never got the video. -I was told that they "never keep credit card information on hand" when I paid them the $250 for the second time. I looked at my credit account and saw that it was charged $1540 in addition to the $250 that I was charged for the clean out for the November work that they did. -They always seemed in a rush to get to other jobs. -I was charged $1790 for them to come out with people who did not know what they were doing until finally on the last time they got it right. $1790 to do a clean out and a camera inspection that they never sent to me. I have worked with several plumbers in the past. I have never been ripped off like this. I never write review's, but I had to this time because of the sheer injustice of getting ripped off from them. read more

These guys are terrible I would not recommend them to anyone. They have visited me three times each time we were scheduled to do work and each time they showed up at the last minute and only gave excuses on why they couldn't do the job. I have taken three days off and still they have only fixed one bathroom sink. They are very unprofessional they do not call when they have delays. They point the finger to everyone else including the guy today said specifically ask for me because the other guy will make excuses if it's a big job and won't do it.
