Stopped by Grab N Go Tacos to give them a shot. I'm a big taco lover and finally found myself in the area with a chance to check them out. Cute place. Very clean. Prompt service. You order at the counter. Chips and Queso came out quickly. Great flavor dip & a good thickness on the chips. I went with the Pepe's Fajita Taco & the Barbacoa Taco, no onions or peppers. The name really threw me off my expectations were pretty low sorry it's just such a silly name! but myself and my sister were visiting the holiday market and were hungry. We walked in to a cute restaurant with Christmas decorations. We sat at the bar and felt a little rushed to order like immediately lol but they were kinda busy and I guess pretty new. My sister got a margarita which she enjoyed. We went with 6 street tacos deluxe meaning adding sour cream and avocado maybe something else but i only wanted those toppings along with the meat and add some cheese. We got carne and al pastor. While these weren't the best tacos ever they were very good and the perfect size to eat 3 each (street tacos come in 6, 12, or more!) I brought my husband back and I had the breakfast tacos. They were piping hot and tasted good. Hubs liked his breakfast burrito a lot. Friendly and fast service. Would definitely return when back in the area to visit family. read more

This place is a staple for our house--we get to-go here at least once a week. They are extremely consistent, hardly ever mess up an order, and are crazy fast. The food quality is on point. We love their Baja Shrimp tacos (on lettuce cups), their nachos, and chicken street tacos. read more

Their food is delicious but it's a little overpriced. I'd definitely return if I was in a pinch but I don't go out of my way for it. I also am a bit disappointed that they don't serve horchata. read more

Why 4 stars? Because this is a convenient option near the house. --- --- --- Based on the proximity alone, we were excited to try Grab N Go Tacos. We love Woodforest, but the one downside is that most restaurants in Montgomery, Conroe, The Woodlands or Magnolia generally end up being about a 23 minute drive for us, which is not convenient for quick call-in ordering. But Grab N Go Tacos is practically in the neighborhood, so it'll be a nice go-to when we need something easy. Looking at the reviews of the other locations, all of them have either 3.5 or 4 star ratings. I think that pretty much nails it. It was probably a 3.5 for me, but I'm rounding up because they've only been open for a week or so and because I know we'll return many times because of the aforementioned convenience. By far, my favorite thing I ordered was the TX BBQ burger with brisket. It combined my two loves -- BBQ and Tex-Mex quite perfectly. I have a hard time imagining coming here again and not ordering that. 5-stars. The baja shrimp taco and the fajita tacos were solid. Above average, but not amazing. 4-stars. We received a mysterious chicken taco that we didn't order and it was probably about 2.5 stars. The queso was 4-stars, but the chips were probably 2.5 stars. They just seemed a bit stale and flavorless. My wife and I disagreed on the rice & beans. I thought it was pretty poor, but she really liked the rice. I would not order it again. 2-stars. This is a great place to grab some very good TexMex for Dine in or to go! I use it to grab a quick lunch often. Service for me has always been good and reasonably fast considering it's all made to order. Yummy food. Quick service and plenty of seating. They are not good service these kids were throwing chips at me and some of my colleagues and so we took the chip out of our drink and threw it away and then they did it again and the lady yelled at us, even though we did nothing and told us it was a warning, but instead of giving us a warning, she got the manager the manager came up to us and said you have to leave but we picked up the chips and I said no guys leave the chips for the boys to pick up and the lady said yeah I'll pick up this because I don't make messes and I said ma'am I'm not talking to you so please don't be disrespectful and then she decided to take the drink out of my front hand and we left. I brought a large group in. Pro- they were decently quick in servicing the large group. Con- Grab N Go Sugarland is one of my favorite taco places and their Birria is delicious! This location is very sub par comparatively. I got the Birria and it was a mess and essentially lacked flavor. It didn't compare to the SL location. The tacos were falling apart in a bad way and idk what the meat was but it just wasn't the same. They also overcooked the tacos so the tortilla part had a burnt taste. read more

Just discovered this place for the first time and really enjoyed the tacos and chips and salsa. Their prices are reasonable and their food is good. Friendly staff and clean place. They have big tvs so you can sit at the bar and watch the game, or can see from a table. I'll be back to try more. I recommend this place to those that enjoy tasty tacos! read more

I've been a loyal fan of this chain of quick service taco eatery I started my journey with a grab and go many years ago, the itty bitty one on Grant near Steubener Airline Rd then it was the Katy location, and now finally here in Montgomery. My go - to taco is the Yucatan chicken fajita, served on a flour tortilla. The orange sauce brings some heat, but the green sauce adds a great flavor, so I use both. 8n the beginning, I would only order one taco, with an extra tortilla for all the stuffing that inevitably fell from the taco. Times have changed this ritual. At least at the Montgomery location. I now order at least 2 tacos , sometimes even a third, along with an extra tortilla if I get lucky to have an overstuffed taco. The flour tortillas are noticeably smaller, and there is little need for an extra tortilla here. The flavor is still one of my favorites, so I am sticking with my 5 star review. I do worry about this location, I have never seen it even remotely busy, and I don't like seeing that. I'm not sure what the issue may be, but the locals are definitely missing out. I recommend and encourage fellow yelpers, along with the taco lover population to give this place a chance. read more

I would never try a place called "grab n go" but someone in a meeting had their Texas Burrito with steak and it looked so good, I drove 15 minutes out of my way to try. It was awesome. I also picked up a shrimp Baja Taco as I wanted to see if this is a place worth working through the entire menu. It is. Great portion size, great quality, great taste. We ate here a week ago Monday. After getting our food in a basket placed on our table and asking for salsa and a plate, we didn't get either and I went to the front and asked for both. The plate I was handed at the serving counter was dirty so I asked for another, the gentlemen reached for another and scrapped dry food off the plate with his thumbnail as he handed to me. He quipped at me "well are you expecting me to go through this whole stack to find a clean one". I was speechless to say the least. I came home and dropped a review of what happened on the Grab and Go franchise/Woodforest location website and provided both my email address and phone number giving them the opportunity reach out to me, nothing to date. We have been avoiding this place because the name made us think it was carry out only but our curiosity final won. This was a pleasant surprise! They have an eating area not visible from the Harvest Market side. The vegetable migas were deliciously filled with spinach, onions and peppers that had a grilled taste to them. The corn strips were crispy and crunchy! My husband's brisket tacos were fat and full of flavor and even though the tortillas were packaged, they were warmed up right. The chips and guacamole were on point. Crunchy chips and flavor filled guacamole! One worker gave us a sample of the "birria"; such flavor! She mentioned they serve Pozole but I didn't find it on the menu. Place was clean, staff friendly. We will be back to try more things! read more

We are officially hooked on their Chicken Fajita Burritos. My daughter loves the Birria tacos and my 3 year old loves the bean and cheese tacos. We also enjoyed the chips n queso dip. It's location is perfect for us as we live in the Woodforest community. Consuelo who works in the kitchen is a sweetheart and great cook.
