I was visiting Sacramento and this was the closest coffee shop near me at the time (besides Starbucks). Of course I had to pick this place! The guys working there were very sweet as they prepared my coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There wasn't too many people there and it seemed like they do both coffee and breakfast items.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can only get basic coffee drinks but they do have a lot of syrups to choose from if that is what you prefer. I love Grace Coffee Roasters! My favorites are the avocado toast all the way with a boiled egg, the smoked salmon bagel, the Cobb salad, and the yogurt parfait cup. My main item without fail is either a hot or iced americano with any sugar free flavor of their choice! Yes, thats right, I always let them choose the sugar free syrup. There's a popular coffee chain at the SAFE convention center across the street, but why bother when the only sugar free syrup they have is boring vanilla? My experience is much more exciting when I let Grace Coffee Roasters choose my syrup. To make the experience even better, there are shakers with cinnamon and nutmeg! How can I go wrong? I walk in the door and the owner knows what I'm going to order immediately and I nod and she directs the barista to pick a sugar free flavor and we go from there! Sometimes I eat there and sometimes I take my goodies back to my building. Every time is a great experience! read more

I was there for 60th year California Science Education Conference November 2024 ( CASE) held at the convention Ctr. Grace Coffee Roasters is right across from the Convention Ctr, so proximity to our hotel & the convention was ideal. Their breakfast, sandwiches, salads, & other drinks such as coffee, smoothies w/or without a protein. Every time you order it is customized and freshly made. All of their items on their menu is fresh & local. The employees are friendly, thoughtful and can only gracefully request your patience because the kitchen team is preparing your food & drinks with care, love and cleanliness. Delicious coffee! I had the chuggacino, and their drinks advertise enticing health benefits in a coffee! I like that it didn't taste like a protein health drink. Great boutique coffee. I get the pumpkin latte. Coffee is less sweet, but I prefer adding my own to control my sugar intake. Small little cafe with outdoor seating next to the hotel and convention center. Friendly service. Sometimes, it can be a wait for your food and other things they're pretty fast. I think they could add more lettuce to the salads as well. Some salads I've ordered have been inconsistent on ingredients. read more

Time was limited and Needed a quick grab and go breakfast so we ordered on line. Once the order was paid for we were informed that the order would not be ready for 25 minutes. Once we arrived for pick up 28 minutes later they started making our food. The whole ordeal took 40 minutes. We didn't have time to eat our food. A total waste of time and money. Hours later when we reheated our food we found that the potatoes were hard and undercooked even after sitting for hours. Would not recommend. read more

Stopped in for a quick coffee and pastry on a weekday. The Mexican mocha was so good and my bear claw was delicious once I heated it up. Despite working right across the street I never realized Grace coffee was right around the corner. Definitely better than Starbucks or the other Cafe on the same block. Great spot to grab quick bite with your coffee, smoothie, juice, blended frappe, soft drink, kombucha, and more! They have so much to offer! The chef and cashier were kind, welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable about what they have to offer as well as what is popular or what their own favorites are which is always wonderful. I tried out a classic iced coffee with a splash of vegan califia oat milk and their delicious avocado egg breakfast bagel sandwich, and everything was fresh and filling. However, this cafe is very small, somewhat crowded yet very clean, and there isn't much room to sit down so I believe it's great for people who are in a rush and want something to grab and go, which works out perfectly. I am all for supporting local businesses and this is one is must since what they offer is simple yet delightful and affordable with a wide range of selections from vegan to gluten free options and more. There is something for anyone and everyone which I admire and appreciate that a lot. I can't wait to come back and try their blended frappes and seasonal creations. The people that work there were so cool! I'm thinking about moving to the area and they were really great about giving me a lot of suggestions of neighborhoods to look at. It seems that they specialize in a lot of iced flavored coffees, as that is what I saw most of the people that were there when I was getting. I just wanted a latte with a little bit of honey and cinnamon. Was kind of surprised that they don't carry cinnamon at their shop, that's a coffee shop staple. I did enjoy the latte, though, the roast on the beans was very nice. The vibe in this old home is so cool, lots of people just chatting and hanging out. Was a really great place to pass a little time in a beautiful neighborhood. I would return to this coffee shop. I didn't try any of the pastries that were available, but I did see a case with a selection.

The café has high ceilings, good airflow, and a beautiful mural on the wall. The vibe is modern with an industrial feel. Parking is easy with free street parking nearby. A fun bonus: they have a claw machine where you can try your luck and win a coffee or breakfast sandwich. Hours: 7 AM-4 PM daily.

It's hard to find a spot to sit and we usually end up at the counter sitting on barstools which isn't ideal if you're short. Most of the customers have laptops and will usually occupy a table for an extensive amount of time. While I have nothing against working at a coffee shop, it's challenging to find a spot to relax after a long day and a good meal. Parking is also a challenge. Best bet is to park in the garage because the lot is tiny and street parking is an even bigger challenge. Service has been consistently great. They do a great job of producing quality drinks without a long wait time. All in all, this is a convenient option, but not my favorite.

These aren't your average roasts. They put the beans through different processes like co-fermentation and the flavors are really unlike anything you'd get at a normal coffee shop. If you're from the South Bay and like the pour overs at Moonwake, this will be right up your alley. I tried the Apricot Jam Co-Fermentation, Picnic Day Co-Fermentation, and Orange Bourbon and they were all so distinct. The Orange Bourbon one was almost buttery and the other two were perfect as well. Service was exceptional and everyone was so friendly. The vibes inside were nice too. I love the coffee cups they use, the spout is so nice to drink from. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're tired of your normal pour overs. The coffee is totally worth 8+ a cup and I'll 100% be back next time I'm in town!

The staff here is always friendly, and you'll often run into the owner, Donovan, you can tell he has a lot of regulars because everyone is excited to say "hi" and strike up a conversation with Donovan. Even when Donovan isn't there the team is always so friendly. They have a really cool variety of coffee available including special fermentation flavors that are available in drinks as well as beans for sale. All of them have such fun, unique and delicious flavors. You'll definitely want to explore the menu and this is a rare spot where I order something different each time I visit, instead of settling into a regular order. They also have art on display that's for sale as well as other items for sale from local businesses as well as to help with all your coffee consumption needs. I love browsing the options for sale and I usually pick up a new bag of coffee beans each time I visit. On top of having delicious coffee, supporting other local businesses, and providing a comfortable and welcoming environment, they also are eco-friendly and utilize an emissions free, electric roasting process and they use special take-out cups that are also more eco friendly. I really appreciate the thought and work that has gone into the Anchor and Tree experience, and all the small details really add up to an experience that keeps me coming back.

They have rooms you could rent (by the hour) and their coffee is pretty freakin good, especially if you prefer dark roasts like I do (the farmers blend is really good). Yes, coffee prices are fancy coffee prices. There is variety here and the coffee actually has distinctive tastes. If I am back in the area, and in the mood to have some caffeine, I will stop by. The banana flavor paired surprisingly well with the matcha and made for a really refreshing drink. It was one of those drinks that I immediately knew I'd order again. But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized. Watching her reaction was worth the visit all by itself. What I loved most was that it wasn't just a gimmick. The drink was actually good, and the elephant made such a cute keepsake afterward. It felt like getting both a treat and a souvenir. The café itself had a fun atmosphere, and it was one of those places that felt a little different from your typical coffee or tea stop. Helpful tip: If it's your first visit, order one of the drinks served in the elephant. The presentation alone is worth it, especially if you're visiting with kids. Between the banana matcha and my daughter's excitement over the smoking elephant, this ended up being one of those unexpectedly memorable stops we'll be talking about for a while.

Unfortunately, brown sugar boba was not available was all out for the day according to the cashier.. but no sign stating that they were sold out. I had to call my siblings again to let them know and ask if they wanted crystal boba as a replacement. To keep the order going while I was calling them, I asked for a mochi waffle and the guy threw his hands up annoyed and was like do you not want the boba for drink? I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.

The food was the star of the show. Bone Marrow is one of those dishes you don't expect to be quite so rich, but it is amazing and worth the visit for. The fish was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms on the steak were delightful and earthy, as well as the steak being a tender, juicy medium rare. I will say the lobster paella was a little disappointing, I expected a little bit more from a nearly $100 dish. Not that it wasn't delicious, but it did not stand out nearly as much as the other dishes ordered. The tartar was a solid app, the oysters were delectable, the bread was toasty and hot with a generous side portion of creamy butter. By my book, service, ambiance, and FLAVOR, Ella is worth the visit.

We will dine in again for another date night occasion.

I adjusted the sweetness to 30% and added boba. Like the first time, the drink was really good. The boba had the perfect balance of softness and chewiness. I really liked the texture. 30% sweetness was also perfect for me. My friend got the same drink but with an extra shot of tea. I didn't realize that was an option, but I love that it is.

My friend ordered the uji matcha latte macchiato with the mini balls, and he wanted another one to-go! The shop is a tad small and cozy(ish) since the seats and tables are close together. The theme is very colors of a bee; black and yellow. There's a long bench with cushions so it's a good place to sip and chill, and people come here to study it seems. Ive been here a few times mainly on a Saturday and all 3x it's been busy. They have 2 kiosks you can order from, or you can order from a human. Wushiland choose a good area of Sac to post up shop because it's the currently the only boba drink shop (for now) near Hollywood Park/Land Park and very close to Sac City College. They're located in the corner of a strip mall type plaza. And parking isn't too bad. Overall, good drinks for a reasonable price and service is decent. They have a fun logo, too. I would definitely come back here to try more of their drinks!
