Great service. Installed several systems in my day and Gram has done the best of them all!

She was one of the nicest front desk person we've met so far and everything went smoothly. The machines here are the newer ones so you don't have to remove your clothing or shoes to get an MRI. The technician was also very nice and everything was done faster than I thought it would take. We were supposed to go to another place but after reading the reviews of that place, we're very glad to have chosen this place over that one even thought his one is further distance.

The level of rudeness and arrogance is completely unacceptable, especially in a medical office. People come here because they are sick, worried, and nervous about what they may be diagnosed with. Nobody is asking the front desk staff to be warm and fuzzy, but basic politeness and professionalism should be the bare minimum. My mother had an appointment, and I walked up to the front desk to sign her in. This woman completely ignored me. I stood there waiting, not knowing whether I was supposed to sign something, sit down, or continue standing there. Finally, I had to ask, "Am I just supposed to stand here?" Her response was simply, "Yes." Seriously? What kind of customer service is that? You work at the front desk. You do not own the office, and you are not doing patients or their families a favor by acknowledging them. There is absolutely no reason to treat people as though they are beneath you or an inconvenience. She needs to be removed from the front desk and retrained on how to interact with patients and their families. If you dislike dealing with people that much, perhaps a front-facing position in a medical office is not the right job for you. And unfortunately, the older woman sitting next to her wasn't much better. What is going on with the front desk at this place? The technicians in the back, on the other hand, were very nice and professional. It's unfortunate that the people patients encounter first leave such an awful impression of the entire office. Management seriously needs to address this. Patients deserve basic respect, especially when they're already walking into a medical office worried about their health.

When I showed up to my appt the woman who checked me in was friendly , fast and made sure any and all questions had answers . I simply cannot say enough about the tech who did my CT scan "Andrea" I was extremely nervous about the whole iv with contrast and she completely set my mind at ease. She told me what to expect and exactly how it would feel and reassured me she would be right there if I needed her for any issues I may have. She checked on me and was always making sure I was Ok. It was very comforting to have someone set your mind at ease and make sure you know they are their to help in any way. My whole experience with this office was amazing . UMI give your employees a raise at this facility , they deserve it !

Absolutely terrible experience. I submitted an online appointment request for my mom and never…read morereceived any response, so I called to try to schedule the appointment myself. It was already difficult to get ahold of someone, and once I finally did, I was placed on hold for a long time. When I eventually reached someone, the representative had a very unhelpful and dismissive attitude. She told me they receive over 200 appointment requests a week, but instead of helping me locate my mom's request or figuring out how to get the appointment scheduled, she essentially left me to deal with the problem myself. At that point, I was so frustrated that I hung up. This is completely unacceptable. If your facility is receiving hundreds of appointment requests every week, then you should have a reliable system and enough staff and training to handle that volume. Patients and their families should not have to chase your office down just to get a basic appointment scheduled. The entire operation needs a serious overhaul, including better systems, better communication, and substantially better staff training. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone. Update on 8/18/2026: Lisa from the central location followed up with me and was able to help us get everything sorted out. I increased my rating by one star because of this. She was the true star of this whole ordeal!

Walking me through the whole process and keeping me informed of what is happening. Plus adding humor to the whole thing really made me relax. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the front desk staff. As a person who manages a medical office I understand what should be expected when you walk in to a place like this. When I stepped in it seemed the main person in the front computer was on the phone while the one in the back was just on the computer. Neither one acknowledged me as I stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. The one that was on the phone eventually asked me if I had an appt. That was it "no hello welcome" nothing. To me that's just bad manners and terrible customer service. As I was leaving I had to wait for Mario to hand my disc copy of my images and once he gave it to me that was it once the again they were on the phone I wasn't sure if I had to do anything else or if we were done with the appt. I understand being busy and having patients on the phone but a quick "hi welcome take a sit I'll be right with you" goes a long way and more if it's the first time a patient comes in for these exams. Thank you again Mario for your awesome care and amazing customer service!

The front desk, although not overly personable, are friendly and efficient. We each checked in with ease on both of our visits. The lobby has a few chairs, however there is room for more and I suggest they add some additional chairs as during both visits patients were standing for part of their wait. Bathroom is clean, office is tidy. Wait times for each appointment were not bad at all. Scheduling our appointments was also within a reasonable time. Parking is marked on the street for Shin patients at no cost, which is nice because this area is really tough to find easy parking and what is easy to find will cost you. Only one of our visits were we able to take advantage of the reserved spots, but very nice that they have them available. Now to the MRI. My husband is very claustrophobic and told them both on the appointment setting and in the office prior to the MRI. We both felt that the techs could have been a bit more sensitive to that. He felt like he was barely on the table when they shoved him into the machine without saying a word or warning. He was not mentally prepared for this. My husband is definitely no wuss, trust me, he's a rugged man's man through and through, but his claustrophobia is straight up real. His 45 minute MRI was cut short to 10 minutes because the anxiety got too high for him. The anxiety is not the technicians' fault, but maybe had they been a bit more sensitive to his phobia and gently eased him in, it may not have been so bad. He did return a week later with some comforting valium and the awareness that he would be flung down the chamber like a dude at a water park. He successfully made it through that second test. Now he's prepared. During my MRI, I did notice that they get you done in a hurry. It did not bother me one bit as I have no claustrophobia at all. Paying attention to the swiftness of the loading into the machine, my husband was right, they get you in fast. My headphones weren't even on my ears yet and away I went into the canal. But, again, for me it was fine, just noticing it since my husband was so sensitive to it. All-in-all, Shin was a great place to have our MRIs done, the ease of appointment setting, the wait time, the efficiency, the parking. Great job with all of this!! Our only suggestion is that when you have someone with true claustrophobia, a little extra care, compassion, and preparedness would be nice. Great job Shin! Would have no problem returning... and honestly neither would my husband, he'll just need the valium and the self-given pep talk first.

Parking is in the big structure and you pay upon exiting outside at the end of the medical complex. Reasonable. Usually they send me a text ahead of my appt to get checked in which saves time. All done via iPad and she made sure to send me the link by text to update my MyChart to save the info and get my test results. I had a lovely student begin my ultrasound scan and her boss followed up and completed it. Everyone I have interacted with here is efficient, courteous and friendly. At times they are crowded but usually not; I have never waited a long time to be seen. Restrooms are available right off one of the waiting rooms and inside the testing area. Tried to make appointment by phone. Told only walk ins for x-rays..from 8 am-5 PM M-F. Showed up 8/3/26, early. As existing patient all records already on file. Handed prescription; receptionist asked supervisor if "pre op" was sufficient to submit to MediCare for billing; I was told diagnosis was not sufficient to permit x-ray. Told I had to get Doctor to revise prescription. NO OFFER TO CONTACT DR OFFICE and have revised prescription faxed over...Asked for private pay option to avoid having to delay scheduled surgery; NO.. Asked for referral to another x-ray clinic ... NO. UCI trained staff is less than helpful. Appears that unless they can guarantee billing of insurance, you should not waste you time at this facility.
