But this morning, the Peach Cobbler Pancakes were calling my name, and I knew I had to give it a shot. I am so glad I did. ​The Atmosphere & Vibe ​I arrived to find the parking lot wasn't full yet--a relief, since that lot can get tight. Walking in, I was greeted by a clean establishment and the smooth sounds of soul music playing in the background. ​The customer service was top-tier: friendly, inviting, and genuinely ready to assist. It's the kind of welcome that makes you want to come back before you've even tasted the food. ​Note: Heads up for the "cash is king" crowd--they do not accept cash as a form of payment here. ​The Food (The Main Event) ​I placed a takeout order, and once I got home and indulged, I was pleasantly surprised. Much respect to the cook; the flavors were spot on. ​The Staples: I ordered the pork chops, scrambled eggs (with onion and green onion), rice and gravy, and potatoes and gravy. Let me tell you--the gravy was graving and the pork chop was choppin'. ​The Showstopper: Those Peach Cobbler Pancakes? They were absolutely hittin'. They were so good I'm convinced someone needs to make me a full peach cobbler pie now. ​The Verdict ​Granddaddy's is serving up seriously flavorful food. My only concern is the physical setup; I wish the location was better equipped to handle the large customer base they are definitely going to attract once word gets out. ​Flavorful food brings customers, and Granddaddy's has that in spades. If you live in or near the Gardena area it's worth a try. The restaurant is small but very neat and exceptionally clean. Customer service was excellent. When you walk in the door you place your order on a large screen and pay on screen before sitting down. The staff came over to us as soon as we arrived, asked if this was our first time there (which it was) and explained how to order. I ordered scrambled eggs hard, grits, wingettes and a waffle. Everything was cooked to order hot and fresh. The grits were good but you definitely have to season them with salt as they have no seasoning at all. I'm sure that's on purpose so you can season to taste. What I found lacking with the grits was the butter. We had to ask for butter. The chicken was good but slightly salty for me. Although the waffle had a good flavor and was cooked well it has a lot of cinnamon. The waffle was so brown it looked like a wheat waffle. I'm not fond of that much cinnamon. My hubby had grits, catfish, eggs over medium potatoes and a biscuit. He said everything was good and seasoned well except for the grits. His grits also needed butter. So I've been ordering from here for a while and I use DoorDash. The food has been consistently good (glad I gave it another chance from the pork chops). They always get our order right. The only thing I would ask is to make sure the condiments match the order. For example, we order 2 French toast breakfasts but only receive 1 butter and 1 syrup. There have also been times that we don't receive any condiments to match what we ordered. I'm still working my way through the menu and I'd really like to try the pork chops again (maybe it was a bad day), but I just don't want to possibly waste my money and they're still not good. She was friendly, helpful, and served with a beautiful smile and spirit. Make sure you go and see her. The breakfast potatoes made me do a dance in my seat. I visited Granddaddy's Breakfast Haus for breakfast today and it didn't disappoint. My husband and I had the same meal which was very good. The country potatoes were delicious. The customer service was great and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Even the music soundtrack was good. The restaurant is in a plaza and there is parking available . Only thing i did not like was we could not sit until we ordered the food and I had my 8month old with me and wanted the booth that was open but the couple who ordered in front of us took the booth after they ordered. Was looking around my area for a new breakfast place and stumbled upon this spot. My son and I decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did. Very clean inside with a welcoming vibe. You place your order at the front kiosk and the menu is very simple. The staff asked if we needed help and made sure we were good. The food absolutely delicious. My catfish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Potatoes had tons of flavor, but our favorite was the red velvet waffles. Enjoyed them so much that we forgot to take a picture of them. The french toast were burnt and hard, the eggs I paid extra to add green were over done and the green onion was just sprinkled on top, the potatoes were hard and dry and the 5 chicken wings pieces weren't seasoned at all.
