The French cuisine is still featured, but there is a new sign and awning for TD. As well as the delicious new food! I have lived on the 500 block for 16 years and this is an amazing add to the neighborhood. We've never had our own authentic taqueria this close. And I can tell you that the tortillas here are LEGIT. On to the experience. The staff is awesome, you will be well attended here. You can order at the register, but there is full wait service. The interior retains the French look, and has added some Mexican touches. There is a parklet outside. In the dining room, there are large open windows with bar seating. A true indoor / outdoor spot. On to the food. I got the Al Pastor tacos, which are traditional street style, though they were nice enough to add cheese to the tortillas. Red and green salsa on the side, and I'm told they're looking into a spicy sauce as well. Open on Friday and Saturday until Midnight. Check www.divistaqueria.com for their weekly hours and menu. Directly across the street from both Emporium and Independent on Divis. And a delicious lunch if you're in NOPA. Place will blow up and couldn't happen to better people. Get ready for this business!!

Amazing french food here!! *chefs kiss*…read more Found this gem when we were heading to the Independent for a concert but was early and decided to grab a bite as my boyfriend suggested this spot after seeing it on Yelp close by. The server sat us down and gave us menus right away with ice waters. The interior was nice and cozy with French music and decor. We shared both the Boeuf Bourguignon and the Champagnarde Galette and both were wonderful. The presentation on both were elegant and appetizing. The flavors and textured worked well in both dishes and the portions were satisfying. My boyfriend also ordered a glass of wine he enjoyed. I would love to come back and try their different dishes as I had a hard time decided since everything sounded so delicious! Great dinner spot, felt like a mini getaway.

It's been a while since I had a good crepe, maybe the last time was when I was in France, and this one brought back those memories. The crepe itself was thin and soft, folded up with warm Nutella and fresh banana inside, topped with walnuts, with a dollop of whipped cream on the side. The walnuts gave it a nice bit of crunch, and the whipped cream added just the right touch of extra sweetness without going overboard. Simple yet good. The fruit cup was a nice balance too, all fresh fruit, nothing out of season. If you're looking for a tasty crepe, check this place out. I'll be curious how their savory ones taste as well.

Quite packed for a Monday morning at 9:30a, but there's a steady flow of people.

Not to mention, their portions are pretty big so definitely come with an appetite! Most recently I ordered the Philly crepe sharing half of it with my sister who ordered the blackened chicken sandwich. Both items were good, my preference was their fries as opposed to their country potatoes (which were good too). I love that they offer a side salad as well. Pretty quick service, servers are nice and there's ample space (indoor and outdoor seating offered). Definitely a good place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I have yet to try dinner but I do always see people dining!

I frequently get one of their salads as they are fresh and plentiful. However, recently I got the Cancun as I Love all the ingredients ~ Romaine lettuce, Black beans, corn, red onions, Avocado Ranch dressing (served over a flour tortilla which is new to me) topped w/Charbroiled Chicken = $18.50 What a huge disappointment. Half of this salad was just Romaine lettuce, no corn, 1T of black beans, no red onion and red peppers instead. I had to "hunt for the ingredients". I asked for another bowl just for the lettuce alone and it filled up another bowl. Which left me w/the skimpiest of ingredients I have ever seen. Plus the romaine lettuce was in huge chunks incuding the core of the lettuce. There was a tiny side of tortilla strips and I asked for the tortilla on the side, glad I did. The chicken was at least decent and plentiful. For the price it was a total waste of money. Wish I'd taken a picture. And the cashier is really rude.

THE BEST CREPES!!!!!!! No joke, best crepes ever. From east…read morecoast to west, this is the absolute, hands down, best crepe spot. Nestled in the heart of Japan town's shopping center, right next to the bookstore- Sophie's crepes is. Very small bistro seating is available, but this place gets pretty busy. They have an extensive menu of both simple and layered flavors. The crepes here are thin and crispy, and come in a very cute crepe holder when served. I always get the strawberries and banana with Nutella, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The crepe won't last long, you'll eat it right up. My partner opts for a strawberry and whipped cream option, with raspberry jam- simple in comparison to my order. Sophie's is always our starting point in Japan town, and once you've placed your order, you cannot revise it. Make sure you hold onto your number, you'll need to provide it when your number is called. Enjoy, a must try in SF; even if you just go to Japan town for this one thing, trust me, it's worth it.
