Friday and Saturday they are full tilt for 24. It's not that the pizza I sampled was great - it was fair, at best. Even after requesting a well done reheat, it was still heavy with cheese than was warmed at its core, but far from hot. The taste was okay, but in this capital city of tomato pie, that is not really good enough. There is so much awesome pizza around these parts that mediocre is just mediocre. So, what it is, is, a pleasant surprise for Trenton train station, but beyond that, not a place atop your "Must Try" list. Nice enough if hungry while waiting for a train. Otherwise, not really worth the trip. ART NOTE - There are some beautiful ceramic tiles placed around the Center (see photos) and a few right next to Pizza-Grill. Let me just say, that cheesesteak was a monster. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and swimming in melty cheese--it's easily the best cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly. On this trip, we came to Ray's in the Trenton Farmer's Market for Ray's Classic Italian Hot Dog (5/5 $7.50) -- hot dog on a bakery Italian roll with grilled peppers and potatoes ... and mustard. Perfection. It was an excellent ttribute to the Original Casino Hot Dog, once named the Official New Jersey Hot Dog. Ray's occupies a prime space in the Farmer's Market. There is a small alcove of tables for eating there. We also had some hot dogs for take-away. Service was great. Why the 5-stars? This is an extra special experience, a piece of Trenton's history, and nostalgic.
