One of the most delicious meals aka Lobster Pie I've ever eaten. Other meals there are cooked to perfection & presented beautifully. Bar drinks are a treat! Prices are reasonable for what you get. Service is always good. Seniors pack the place at lunch! The food is fresh & healthy balanced. The ambience is cozy to mid modern. Always very clean , restrooms included. This restaurant has become one of my favorite places to dine. Every dish I have ever gotten from here is always super delicious. They truly take their time with their plates and everything seems fresh, which makes everything even more tasteful and flavorful. Everyone who works here is super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu especially their specials menu. For the main course, I got the Native Sea Scallops that were lightly breaded and broiled and I seriously can't ever get enough of these. For the most part I usually always get this dish because I just can't resist it's just too good. It's a must to get here if you love seafood. These scallops are perfectly flavored and cooked to perfection and literally just melt in your mouth and are far from being chewy and overcooked. I love this place so much. If you are ever around the Andover area in Massachusetts then this is a must place to go and check out all their taste of deliciousness for yourself. Can't comment on the food but can certainly comment on customer service. Tried to book a reservation a week in advance of the Merrimack College graduation for a party of five. First was told they only take reservations for six. Then realizing what day I was requesting , the hostess stated stated thy expected to be very busy and would not be taking any reservations for that day at all . Would have to come, take our chances and wait for a table if none available. Wow...she really said that.... read more

Haven't been here for a long time but we received a gift card from a friend. Decided to try it for lunch so we knew to arrive early (around 1145a) and the place was already pretty packed. Our waitress came immediately and was very friendly and efficient. My husband decided to have the steak tips with fries and me, the surf and turf (of the petite sirloin and the crab meat pie) with seasonal vegetables. The complimentary bread seemed a little stale but the lunch entrées were excellent. Steaks cooked perfectly and fairly tender. Definitely a consideration for lunch again! Good value! read more

I called this restaurant on 2/10/22 around 11:45am. I simply needed help finding cars to be moved so I could get around the building with my tractor trailer. I called the restaurant and was extremely nice explaining the situation, the manager on duty (can't remember her name) but she was nice at the time but she went to hang up and didn't realize she never did. So I over heard them bad mouthing me saying explicit stuff and saying "let's go park all of our cars in his way F*** him they went on to say" If that's how they are who know what they do to your food when the consumer is not looking or if they just so happen to not like the food and send it back, I strongly do not recommend this place! read more

Had a slight wait on a Saturday night. Service was great. Very attentive Bread was yummy crusty outside and soft inside Coconut Shrimp App. was a bit small, but had a nice crunchy outside. Me: Steak tips were good perfect med. rare I went with the large portion which were just a couple tips to big for my me and were very good as well as their "grassfields" rice. Rice pudding was very good and a large portion. Husband: GRASSFIELDS BURGER which he said was cooked perfect medium rare with plenty of fries. Hot fudge sundae was good. Been here twice and I got to say I love this place. Restaurant located in a plaza with plenty of parking. You walk in to a nice warm feel.To the right side there is a bar and some seating if your waiting. To the left is the booths and some tables. I like the feel of this family oriented cozy, spirited restaurant. The teriyaki steak is my girlfriend and I favorite dish, which is highly recommended. Stopped in for dinner Thursday evening after reading Yelp reviews... we did not leave disappointed. We had a excellent server! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Based on her recommendations, we had coconut shrimp as our appetizer, and we both had steak tips and scallops for our main course. I had a wonderful experience at Grassfields. My first time here I wasn't sure what to expect. My server Samantha was a sweet heart and very attentive. The bread served is so warm and delicious. For my drink I went with my server's recommendation of the special margarita, something with pears. It tasted amazing and might I add the size of the margarita???? "Jumbo!" For dinner I went with the bacon wrapped filet and a loaded baked potato. My meal tasted great and it was a perfect size. There is also a great dessert menu but I chose to skip it because there was only Vanilla Bean ice cream, I personally don't like this flavor. Over all this is a great place for a good dinner with friends, family, or a date! Will be back to try other things! read more

Great service but food was not that good. I ordered the scallops and lobster pie but did not find it appealing Most of the taste came from a lot of butter/oil. That said, the prices are definitely reasonable - however for the quality of food I probably won't go back here again. Get new front desk staff - very rude. Didn't see any bacon on bacon wrapped fillet. Baked potato had been hanging around and was all dried up. Restaurant was loud and noisy. Lights too bright - it was like a train station, definitely lacked atmosphere! Won't rush back to this joint. read more

My parents were longtime customers and they passed on their love for Grassfields to all of their children. We ordered for the first time since the pandemic, a meal to go. Mostly okay, portions very small for the price. My meal was steak tips and scallops. Rice portion small, steak tips fatty and barely tolerable. Scallops were good, but not enough. The price combined with quantity and quality, left a poor impression of their current state. Unfortunately, they do not have an email. I would have sent them a note, but my only option was to call. I do not have time to play telephone tag. I hope the lack of an email is not on purpose? Perhaps a way to discourage people from reaching out to them? Nobody wants to hear " the manager doesn't come in until..." Not a modern way to do business. Will most likely skip next time we order out. read more

Don't listen to the hostess when she tells you the wait for a table is 30mins. It's a LIE, place was very busy and it was an hour wait! Who has time for that and I was hungry, thank God I am patient. Owner knew we were frustrated and got our table two free appetizers, I like that cause free means guilty, but it was nice of him. So let's talk food as this was my first time here. First prices are so fair and really reasonable, I had to look twice just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Food and what we ordered: Zucchini fries first time having them and it won't be the last. Not greasy and so crunchy came with a dipping sauce $6.99 Tex mex rolls with chicken came with salsa, guac, and sour cream really good if you have the munchies. Coconut shrimp app it was ok and for me it was to sweet. For an entree I got the grilled sword fish with a side of veggies. The fish was great and not dry at all. I enjoyed the simple touch of lemon and black pepper didn't need anything else. Other sides we got were the Florentine rice with spinach it was amazing, the crab pie it was an entree but we got it to share and they were very generous with the portions. Overall good experience and the server was awesome never a wait on anything we needed, the only wait was for the table but the food made up for it. Always had a good time, good and service have always been great. Outdoor dining when it's nice out has been a pleasant treat.

I met up with a friend here for dinner this evening. Our plan had been to sit outside. However today being unseasonably warm we opted to dine inside with A/C. The parking lot was jam packed leaving me to think that everyone would be in the restaurant... However entering it didn't seem to be the case. I passed people leaving with bags & boxes... They must have phoned in orders and be picking them up. We were seated at a high top table in the bar area... When I say, " high top" I mean high top. Like a berth in a retro train car! I'm 5'2" and for the 1st time in I can't remember how long I felt I needed a stepping stool to get into the seat.. thinking back, I believe it was so difficult that I just decided to leap up into it.. Our server was awesome. We ordered drinks that came within a few minutes.. then perused the menu. I ended up getting the exact same salad I've had before. The actual name escapes me, " Vermont Goat cheese spinach " or something like that.... It has aight amount of candied pecans and craisins and a citrus light dressing. Perfect in warm weather.y dining companion had steak tips with a loaded baked potato...she said her meal was excellent & that the steak tips were cooked exactly how she likes them. During the meal our server was attentive without being obnoxious - which I appreciate. No room for dessert this time. Well on all honesty, for me at anytime. But that's okay. My former reviews haven't been too good Grassfields I'm sorry for that. This visit changed me... I will definitely return. read more

Was here for early day Easter lunch/dinner. Wonderful services, ate in bar at an open table Hot bread served, I prefer always bottled water as this resturant does not have a water filtration system like most restaurants in the area. Very clean, excellent appetizer, scallops raped with bacon, fresh salad. I ordered lollipop lamb, steamed vegetables and bake potato. Double portions, I Saved half for Monday lunch. My waitress was named Katie and she was attentive, professional and a pleaser, she made my solo Eater dinner and wonderful experience. I completed dinner with dessert and black coffee. I like this place and since moving to the Meremack area, and reading other positive reviews, I encourage you to try and experience a meal, very reasonable prices, FREE and plenty of parking. . read more

Why don't you take reservations on Friday and Saturday? Called to make reservations and was told 2 people should not have a wait at 6pm on Saturday night. Drive there and was told 45-60 min wait. So went to Burton's grill and had an even better experience. Why pis people off? Never go back! read more

First visit here, overall a positive experience. We were seated quickly, especially for a party of 7 on a Friday. 3 people had seafood and I assume it was good because they ate it all. There were positive comments about the freshness and cooking of the fresh vegetables and the French fries. My husband and I both had salads, mine had really nice fresh spinach and some delicious pecans. The service wasn't fast, but it wasn't really slow enough to complain about. Been my favorite restaurant since a kid. Best chicken terryaki you'll ever have. I like the fact that they have never changed up the recipe or skimped on portion sizes like most restaurants do over time. One thing I wish they would bring back is the bread though. read more
