Shrimp Diavalo

Everything was fantastic! The food was delicious and the staff really looked after us. We spent our time on the patio, which was beautiful (I didn't get a look at the inside, but the outdoor vibes were great). Definitely grab the happy hour Prosecco--it's a total steal!

'Tis the season. I picked up Christmas holiday gift cards to Grata, and I couldn't be more excited! This year, our stocking will be filled with gift cards to our favorite holiday dining destinations, and Grata is a fav. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. It's one of our go-to Italian restaurants, always serving up great service and a delicious menu that makes every meal special.

First time coming at was very impressed! Everyone has been recommending this place, so I'm glad I tried it! Grata burrata - 5/5 stars - the honey really enhanced the flavors of the cheese and pesto, the little peppers were not spicy and added a good pop of texture Heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad - 5/5 - absolutely amazing combination, a great contrastbof soft and crunchy textures, the heirloom tomatoes were excellent Ricotta zeppoli - 5/5 - really loved the chocolate sauce with these donut balls, wasn't expecting how soft the centers would be, the outside was nice and crunchy Flourless chocolate cake - 4/5 - the topping of dates really threw off the texture of the cake, otherwise the chocolate cake was delicious and not too rich The inside is very nicely decorated, and sitting outside was nice as the sun was setting, but we did not enjoy the cars being so loud since the outdoor seating is next to the main road. Overall, absolutely recommend this place but I wished there was a little more options for salads since I'm not a big pasta person.

Found this restaurant after a weekend of wine tasting. It's a fairly small interior but accommodates for a lot of seating options. We had a party of 6 and were comfortable. Katie was our server and was amazing! Colagrossi Barbera wine was also perfect with our dinner!

It took a minute upon entering to know if I was going to be acknowledged (quite busy for a Wednesday evening!) but once I was- smoothe sailing! I sat at the bar and Ashley was fantastic! She was very informative and helpful throughout. I'd inquired about a wine she let me try and opted for the cocktail instead. I ordered the Garden Party which is cucumber infused gin with herbs and a chili oil garnish. I ordered 3 chilled oysters as a starter. The cucumber/prosecco mignonette made for the perfect tangy bite, particularly with my cocktail. I had asked her on an entree recommendation (of which her response between 2 dishes would determine how many more questions I had)... Yet she answered all of my additional questions without me ever asking, and without hesitation on her selection- so of course I went with the cacio e pepe with prosciutto, kale and mushrooms! ZERO regrets! Such a flavorful dish! I boxed the remainder of my entree to save room for dessert, of which I chose the pistachio gelato with balsamic reduction and sea salt. A great meal with great service! Already recommended to friends that may head this way. Thank you!!

I had fond memories of visiting this place a few years ago and couldn't wait to come back - and it definitely did not disappoint! It's a lovely Italian place with an extensive menu - everything looked so delicious it was hard to decide. I wanted something lighter so I had the asparagus salad and the meatballs. The salad was fresh asparagus, arugula, radish on top of Farro with a soft-boiled egg and truffle vinaigrette. Such a flavor bomb! I also had the meatball starter to round out my meal and it was a lot of food. The garlic bread with it was amazing. My husband had the cacio e Pepe and loved the addition of truffle oil and crispy prosciutto on top. Our service was great and there was a wonderful wine list too. Look forward to coming back again when we are in the area.

The food here is simply amazing! The spicy clam dish has the perfect level of heat to it and same with the shrimp Diablo dish. I liked the raw oysters better than the grilled (no pic). Service seemed a little slow at first but we were in no hurry so the pace was just fine. Very pleasant staff. Semi elegant atmosphere but also a come as you are vibe in this small town resturaunt. This was our second visit here and we will definitely come again! Don't sleep on this place folks and make reservations if you plan on going as it can get pretty busy.

This buzzing Italian restaurant did not disappoint. The reason for a four star is only due to the fact that our table was in a corner away from the the main layout of the place. We got there in time for happy hour and the Aperol Spritz was really good. We shared the heirloom salad which we both thought was pretty tasty, but needed more basil and a lil salt. ( No salt n pepper on the table) The mains were absolutely fabulous. I have to say, maybe the best Cicio e Pepe I've ever had. The shrimp was well marinated and cooked to perfection. The lasagna was out of this solar system. The vodka sauce was a nice change rather than marinara. There are about 6 other items on the menu we want to try, so bet your bottom we'll be back.

Ohh yeah. We got here when they first opened . We got the best seats in the house and by 500 pm the place was packed. Everting smelled good our waitress was fantastic . I had the lasagna and my date had the fish. Mmmmmmmmm. Everything was really good. Meatballs for the appetizer and the baked oysters for the win. You will be very happy you at here. I will definitely be back.

First meal to kick off a wine country bachelorette! We popped in for a later dinner on a weeknight, and it was beautiful so we sat outside. The service was very quick and friendly. We shared the meatballs to start. They were so saucy and cheesy, and the garlic bread on the side was a great addition, it didn't overpower the sauce flavors. I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka. It was good, but it had an interesting herb/oil in it that i didn't love, like extra thyme or rosemary that didn't go with the rest of the dish. But I still enjoyed it and ate it anyway. The portion sizes are quite large, and pretty well priced.

Grata charges a sneaky 2% kitchen surcharge which reduces both fairness & transparency. Also, my party felt the food was overly seasoned.

Do they have gluten free options?

Yes there's some gluten free options and more if you substitute things out of some dishes. I'm sure they will accommodate you in some way the owner and chef are the best.

Do you have a corkage fee?

I see raves in the reviews about your polenta cookies. Are they perhaps also gluten free? That would be amazing? Thanks.

The restaurant was easy to find, and I loved the charming décor it felt like a genuine Italian restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite surprises was the Limoncello Spritz. After a day of wine tasting, it was the perfect light and refreshing drink to end the day. Great food, outstanding service, and a wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

She was so busy every single one of the bar seats was taken, and she did a fantastic job balancing all of it. Overall the food was an exceptional experience. For starters we got the truffle fries, and A Minestrone soup. The truffle fries were delicious, and had a bit if a kick to them so if you dont like spicy keep that in mind. The Soup was delicious and a great size for the small soup portion. I ordered the Lasagna with meat sauce and its light delicate layers were delicious, and perfectly balanced with the cheese. The server was helpful and informative and told my friend about the Mushroom cream sauce for her ravioli that if you love mushrooms you'll love it but if you don't then steer away. And we LOVE mushrooms and the ravioli paired perfectly with the heavy mushroom cream sauce. We also got the Steak and ordered it medium rare, when it came to us and it was closer to blue/rare the server/bartender didn't hesitate to apologize and in a flash take it back. The cooks remade it and it was perfectly medium rare with that nice browning on the outside and a small bit it pink in the center. We were very satisfied and it was such a lovely touch the manager did come out before the end of our meal to ensure we were satisfied and apologized for the discrepancy in the meal. The fact it was busy every single table full and the bar also being full and the manager still coming to ensure our satisfaction was what true hospitality is all about!! 100000% recommendations for this place and will be coming back!

Everything seemed to be going well until we brought my two kids with us. Since they don't have a kids' menu, we decided to order a pasta for them and split it. We were pleasantly surprised when they split it for us upon receiving the food. However, when we received the bill, we noticed a charge for splitting the meal. We had forgotten to read the full menu, but the charge was clearly visible in black and white. The most insulting part of the experience was our server, Miguel. When we questioned the split charge, he claimed that it was the owner's decision and that we should not complain. Instead of addressing our concerns, he decided to pull out five dollars from his pocket and put it on the table. This was incredibly rude and disrespectful from an employee. We were not arguing over the four dollars; we simply had a question about the charge. We will never return to this restaurant and would never recommend it to friends or family. The food was actually quite good, but the service and attitude of the staff made the entire experience unpleasant.

It just feels comfortable. One time on my birthday, my wife picked up the pizza and didn't realize that they gave her the wrong one until she got home. She called and went back to get the right one, and when she got there they had forgotten to remake it, so she had to wait. She was honestly pretty mad at that point after making two trips, which I don't blame her for at all. But they were so apologetic that they ended up giving us the pizza for free, and that honestly made up for everything and turned it into a really nice surprise. She got over it pretty quickly after that. Funny enough, it worked out as two trips for two pizzas, and my birthday is 2/2. Now whenever I eat pizza anywhere else, I end up comparing it to Pizza Leah. Other places have good pizza, but this one just checks every single box for me. It just is the perfect pizza for me.

On the plus side, the lemonade was actually fresh squeezed with just the correct amount of sugar...yeah. When we left there were only 4 more guest. All in all a very bad experience and expensive at $250.00 plus a generous tip of the wait staff. Hope they don't have to share it with the chef.
