And feels homey. +1 for tasty arugula and parmesan pizza! Very flavorful, very light and a little citrus-y (is this a word?). Interesting take on a wood fired pizza. +1 for Sicilian rice balls! Rich, meaty, comforting. +1 for hazelnut gelato. Nutty & heavenly. -1 for the Steak Au Poivre. Steak is perfectly cooked yet the vegetables side dish is kinda eh. Bland. Feels like an afterthought. The spaghetti and meatballs and sausage was okay. The pasta was al dents, the balls were moist and pork was tasty. The sauce was fresh and light. There wasn't anything too special about this dish. SO good. My boyfriend and I ordered from here for our Valentine's Day dinner and it was the best Italian delivery I've gotten in ... Idk how long. They also called us to ask what drink replacement we wanted when the one my bf ordered was not available and sent an extra drink as an apology. We ordered penne vodka (INCREDIBLE), a sid rod meatballs (SO good - I sometimes get weird about meatballs bc I start to overthink the meat aspect LOL and this was so delicious I didn't care) my bf got the 4-Cheese & Pear Fiocchi which he loved! The food was hot and fresh when it arrived (even after traveling here in 30 degree weather!) Excellent service, fast delivery, delicious food. You can't go wrong. Good hipster, but hipster Pizza & Italian bar that has REALLY good artisenal pizzas. The sauce for Margherita and Pepperoni is fresh and light. The Blanco was good but could have used MORE salt on the cheese and roasted garlic, which was a pleasant and NOT overwhelming surprise. I LOVED the RICH but VERY light Crab Ravioli. Surpassed my expectations with a succulent Beurre Blanc, Leek Sauce. The Sparkling French Rose was fruity, yet dry and a refreshing swallow, while waiting for the dishes. ​Graziella's is a wonderful family location to get your eat on. We recently attended a birthday​party​ at the location and the staff did a wonderful job accommodating​​ us. The party was slated for 11:00 am​, and the staff and tables were ready to go. The staff gave all the kids balloons​, while we waited. The tables had juice​ and pizza stickers for kids to spend some time​ making​ thier own sticker​​r pizza's. Afterward, small inidivauls pizza crust came out and kids were allowed to make their own personal pizza's with ingrediants that were brought out directly on the tables. After the kids pizza's were made, the staff took them and we were entertained by a magician. Once the magician was over, the kid's pizza was brought​​ out​. For adult,​s we have oun regular​ size pizzas which​​c were delicias and a trio of salds that were scrumptious​. Lastly, the bar was open, and it allowed the parents to get a drink in while the kiddies were entertained. All in all, Graziella's was an excellent place to host a kids party. First time here and we all commented that it was our favorite meal in Brooklyn to date. We are here on vacation/helping our son move here from Oakland so dining out for all meals is the norm this week. This one hit on all aspects. Good neighborhood spot with friendly service. Would not make a special trip to visit though. The food was just ok. Get the pancetta and clam pizza, rack of lamb, and linguini. They were the best dishes that we had. We also tried the burrata pizza, squid ink linguini, calamari, caesar salad, baked clams, chicken parm. These were not great. Ate here with my two best friends the other night- chose this place because it's a great spot to catch up and chill- not too noisy and they don't rush you, enough space between tables so you're not forced to listen to other people's stories- which incidentally makes this a great date spot. We had: Arugula with Parmesan pizza, fried calamari, and spaghetti with meatballs. The pizza was spot on delicious; the fried calamari was as heavenly as fried food gets, solid crispy clean; the meatballs- oh my god- the meatballs - were AMAZING. Came here for an impromptu dinner with two people. Highlights of the meal: We sat upstairs on the roof, the octopus appetizer was cooked perfectly and the cucumber spritz was very refreshing. The rest of the food was just okay. We ordered the pasta special - the duck ragu, shrimp parmagiana and the orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage. All three dishes were lacking in flavor and they took a long time to come out. Overall, the service was pretty slow. Skip having a meal here. I would only suggest sitting upstairs when the weather is nice and drinking a spritz. read more

Good super-thin crust pizza, cheese could be better Recommended: Pepperoni is tasty. The homemade tiramisu is really good (less cream, more soaked spongy cake). The free bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was surprisingly good. Great place for families with kids. A little disappointing: Cheese on the pizza was just ok....I prefer stretchy cheese rather than the drier kind. Pesto does not have that much flavor. Prices seems a little high (we spent $15 each for two small 6-slice pizzas). Probably won't make the trip out again from Manhattan to this place, but this is a solid pizza and a good neighborhood spot. read more

We just ordered a cocktail and a pizza. The food and drink were decent, but the service was mediocre. A table next to us who was already seated when we arrived had to flag down a waiter to place their order after we were more than halfway through our meal. They also automatically add a 3% surcharge for credit cards even if you're not planning to use a credit card... I'd say skip this place. Fun, food and beer! That's what you can find at Graziella's. Two of my favorite "F" words and my favorite "B" word. Regrettably my third favorite F word was not there, but it's still a great place. Went with a buddy and just got beers, pizza and dessert but everything was awesome. Service was really great. Our waitress was very nice and very engaging. Also very funny. When I ordered the inferno pizza without jalapenos the look she gave me was priceless! She was like "wtf?" She said she could not go back and tell the pizza maker that so I needed to rethink my request. Therefore I ended up just going easy on the jalapenos but it was still very funny and the way it was done was nice, not mean. My pizza was amazing...I ate the entire thing in about two minutes it was so good and my pal got the arugula and parm pizza which was also delicious. I think they have a lot of good beer but after I saw the Sixpoint Sweet Action I stopped looking and just kept saying "yes, please" to those. Desserts were good too....red velvet for me and molten lava for my homie. Both were great. I will definitely go back to this place and highly recommend it to people who like great food, good beer and fun service. read more

My mother and I are visiting Brooklyn for college tours and we decided to stop here after our Pratt tour. Graziella's was everything we could of wanted. We were immediately met with friendly faces at the door and quickly seated. Our seats were near the back with a view of pizza oven, where you can see all of the pizzas made. Since it was about 90 degrees that night, we really enjoyed the complimentary water which was refilled immediately by the staff. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with any of our questions. The food came fast and it was delicious, I had the margarita pizza and my mom had the pasta of the day. Then to finish the meal we had gelato. We went there for dinner with 2 other couples. Reservation was for rooftop outdoor seating, but they had a table out front on the ground level set up for us. So we went with it. Ordered Captain Morgan Rum and coke, came back-no Captain Morgan just another spiced rum. So ordered Merlot, nope no Merlot. So had Pinot Noir. Food wasn't hot and only one person liked their choices. I had the chicken parm, tasteless and tasted like Ragu sauce from a jar. Cheese calzone had one strip of mozzarella in it and loads of ricotta. Lasagna was the only good choice. Fish was so-so. And then to top it off, no regular coffee available. And who dips cannoli in chocolate?--not authentic Italian for sure. A truly disappointing meal. Service was very slow also. I understand that restaurants are short-staffed, and many have new staff, but don't open if you don't have a qualified chef! read more

We were a party of 8 who arrived with a reservation on a very busy Friday evening. As we all arrived fairly promptly we were immediately seated at our table. Sadly the table was not in a quieter location as I had requested when making reservation, due to my hearing loss. I mentioned this to our server, as it would be impossible for me to enjoy myself due to background noise. Still it was a very pleasant surprise when both the manager and server made sure our table was changed as soon as a quiet corner became available. This was handled very professionally and with a apology for their error, which while right thing to do, could have been very easily brushed aside on such a busy evening. Wish I caught our servers name. He was great, hard working, wonderful personality, just a gem. Everyone's food appetizers to desert where excellent and we all had a great time. Glad that I came to this spot!!!! Thanks Brad K, my new Yelp! buddy, for the recommendation! ;) Very kid-friendly in that the tables/space are roomy enough for strollers. Also the ambiance was casual enough ( you know how it is to bring kids to fine dining places and you get the eyes-rollin'). Therefore, I am glad that this was a great recommendation and a place that I am surely going back to! The pizzas were good...there is a sort of a senior man working by the brick oven, non-stop nearly all night long. ( Although I noticed he had one break :) And that goes to show that the pizzas are DEFINITELY one of the dishes people come for. The take-outs were non-stop and the crowds for a weeknight were also making this place pretty happening (but without being a rowdy hippy bar type of environment). I would give this place 5 stars BUT ONLY after I come back again and I get to hang out at the rooftop! Hee!! I had the fresh pasta of the day which was linguini. Although priced a bit more, it was worth it to me. There was a German beer that tasted pretty distinct and I actually liked that (I am not a beer person). The appetizers were better than the entrees. For apps- it was the grilled octopus (yum!) and the grilled shrimp.. also very flavorful. Majority of the dishes were well-rounded in that there was not a disappointment and a lot of positive reviews by other patrons were actually accurate. Great location for families and party groups. I just can't stop with these places that I've seen on TV! They have a seating area downstairs as well as open-air seating upstairs (I opted to sit outside cause it was a nice day). There is a music hall next door, so if you're outside you can hear the performances going on. I ordered a small pizza Arugula & Parmesan which is a Margherita pizza with baby arugula & shaved Parmesan added. It only took about 5 minutes to come out, and it looked great - although I thought the arugula & Parmesan would have been baked on. Instead, it was just piled on the top kind of like a salad, and in order to keep it on while eating you definitely have to fold your slice in half. Good luck getting it off the tray in the first place. But overall it was good. I wouldn't take 2 trains to get here again (I came from Coney Island, and consequently I have to take 3 trains back to Manhattan) It's off the beaten path and in a quiet part of town, so it's a nice place to stop by if you're in the area. SIDE NOTE: they automatically add an 18% tip to your bill, so that's something to watch out for. read more

After reading some negative reviews about the long delivery times but still wanting to try the pizza in the comforts of our own apartment, bf and I paper-scissored-rock who would venture out in the cold to retrieve the pizza. I lost, so I started my 3 block trek after calling in our order and was told it'd be ready in 10min. Upon walking in, the hostess greeted me. They had just opened at 3pm on a Tues, so no one was dining in at the restaurant. Some of the employees were snacking on some ready-made pizza, but no one else yet. A group of 4 arrived as I was heading out though. ORDER - Small 1/2 arugala & parm + 1/2 inferno ($17.5): Not sure why the pizza didn't come out to be $16 when on the menu both are the same price... Very thin 12" pizza that was burnt black on some parts. The inferno was really spicy from the jalepeno, but was balanced off with the thinly sliced salami. The arugala and shredded parm was given in separate to-go box, so you can assemble it at home. Neat! Overall, great tasting pizza, except for some small parts that were burnt. I think we should have fone for the large size, but we were unsure how hungry we were. For the price, nothing entirely special, but I was happy with the fresh ingredients. I can't wait to move to my new apartment with a brand new oven to bake pizza and sweets again. read more
