Beef Broccoli and Sweet and Sour Sauce Shrimp
    Ronald W.

Traditional Cantonese like I grew up with. Beef with Broccoli. Beef ver silky flavor ok. Lots of shrimp for sweet and sour. Desperate so shrimp is not soggy. This a quick local strip mall Cantonese restaurant. Food was ready when promised. Only take out. Free egg roll with $20 dollar order and coupon from menu. You can order and grab the coupon when you get there. Egg roll outside crisp but insides were a little mushy. The menu had a lot of variety. In addition to Cantonese food they also have bubble teas, sushi, sashimi, and Tonkotsu Ramen. The parking lot is a little small on this triangular lot. This is a quick good Cantonese neighborhood restaurant.

    1. Egg Roll

    1. Egg Roll Very oily!! Never ordering from here again ! Very disappointing after ordering from here for many years!! I'm guessing it's definitely under new management:/

Dinner special portion. Chicken fried rice with Empress chicken. Sauce is provided on the side so it doesn't get soggy in travel.

The other night was cold, rainy and dark. So.. I did what most people do, hit a bar and drank. Not having had dinner earlier in the night, I made a bad decision (like most booze-induced decisions) to grab take-out. It was near closing time and usually I would know better than to order. You never know whether they'll give it their all. In any case, I was Jones'ing FF Chinese. So, I ordered. It was one of few options available locally and Google reported that they would close at Midnight. The guy on the phone was nice about it. I'd asked if it was too late. He said no but to come on time. So I placed an order by phone and my drive-share got me there within minutes. #Uber The place was well lit and uber clean. A fresh scent was in the air as I entered. They offer a few booths for those wanting to dine-in. The drive home was short so my meal was still hot. I got an order of potstickers and a dinner combination plate of General Tso's chicken. The combo comes with chicken fried rice, a can of pop and an egg roll. I requested my rice spicy, so they did! That was a pleasant surprise. Fried rice is often prepared in advance of orders and kept throughout the day. (In most cases) At the time of order, they refresh the rice by steaming it. If you like your rice to be "fresher" you can request they use more water. This is what I've been told by owners of FF Chinese & Vietnamese restaurants. The food was better than expected. Their rating is 3 stars on Yelp, so I didn't expect much. However, ample portion and fresh taste with a reasonable cost. The potstickers were big. Bigger than what is usually received from a FF Chinese spot. Ball-up-your-fist big. Unless you got sausage fingers, not that big. General Tso's was okay. Spongey, battered chicken tossed in a thick sweet sauce. I had the leftovers the following day. I like to use a pan and cover. Putting a few tablespoons of hot water over the rice and then placing the entree next to it with a cover on top. This will re-hydrate the entire meal and then once warmed it can be mixed thoroughly. Yum! (You can do the same in the microwave. Adding a bit of hot water and placing a paper towel over the top. I prefer the pan method because the bits of rice will soak in the sauce of the entree and get crispy) On a whim, it can hit the spot. For sure.

Double fried sweet and sour chicken

Ordered shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken instead I got shrimp / hair fried rice and overly double fried chicken. First and last time eating here.

Great Dragon serves excellent food. Their new japanese menu is a "must to try." Their sushis' are served fresh and made with careful preparation. I would suggest buy the DRAGON (tempura shrimp sushi) or the TRANSFORMER (smoked salmon sushi). It was made really really good: see attached photos. Their ramen on the other hand is also made good. Me and my friend have tried spicy beef. It is so tasty that we want to order it again once we come back and visit. Lastly, I would like to commend the japanese chef Jet very accomodating and open for customer's opinion with regards to the sushis he made.

I ordered from here today and I honestly have to say I do not recommend the smoothies at all, not satisfying and the tapiocas were hard.

Pretty good Chinese food. I love how simple this dishes are, and not overstuffed with veggies on the side.

MingHin was packed, loud, and a little chaotic. Worth it. Dim sum is an experience as much as a meal and MingHin delivers on both fronts. We ordered more than we could keep track of. Soup dumplings that immediately became the kids' personal obsession. Shu mai that hit every time. BBQ pork buns in every form they offered because obviously. Chinese broccoli to balance out the indulgence. Everything was solid, fresh, and exactly what you want from a dim sum spread. The room was packed and buzzing but the service kept up impressively. Servers were constantly circling, clearing empty plates and dishes without missing a beat. Clean and attentive even at full capacity, which is no small thing. Fair warning if you are bringing little ones: this environment is a lot. The noise, the crowd, the overwhelming parade of food arriving at the table. Our kids loved what they ate but the sensory experience was a bit much for them. This is a place better suited for a group of adventurous adults or older kids who thrive in high energy environments. Prices are great for the quality and quantity of food you get. A Chinatown institution for good reason. Just know what you are walking into and embrace it fully.

The portions are huge, so I highly recommend sharing dishes, especially if you're dining with a group. If you're not familiar with the menu, it can be a little challenging to know what to order, but the staff is usually helpful with recommendations. Some of my favorites are the dumplings, various rice dishes, chicken, lemongrass dishes, Mongolian beef, and other traditional offerings. This is a fantastic place for larger groups, and they're very accommodating when it comes to splitting checks. The food comes out quickly, the atmosphere is lively, and there's plenty of variety for everyone. If you're in the area near Joy Yee, MingHin is definitely worth a visit!

They take a $20 deposit to hold reservations, and judging by how many people happily waited, it's clearly worth it. There was one dish in the dining room that smelled absolutely incredible, and I'm still sad I didn't figure out what it was. I'll definitely be eating in next time. The mapo tofu was one of the best I've ever had. It was different from the style I usually prefer--I typically like a thicker, richer sauce--but this one had a lighter consistency while still packing amazing flavor. I ordered it with beef, and it was a fantastic choice. The flank steak fried rice was a bit bland on its own, but I think it was intentionally seasoned that way to pair with the bolder dishes on the table. I cannot wait to to back nd dine in this time

Given how highly rated this restaurant is, my expectations were definitely up, but unfortunately, the food didn't deliver. I ordered the Dry Chili Chicken, and it was beyond salty--to the point where it was genuinely hard to eat. I really expected better quality control from a spot with this much hype.

The vibes were chill with pop music playing in the background. Service was solid. Our server was knowledgeable, explained the menu well, and answered questions without rushing us. The Pork & Chive Dumplings tasted like something my mom would make at home. The broth they sit in adds a lot of flavor and makes the dish even better. My only nitpick is that I personally prefer a thicker, chewier dumpling wrapper. The Dan Dan Noodles were the standout. Creamy, nutty, crunchy from the peanuts, packed with flavor, and not overly spicy. It was my first time trying dan dan noodles and now I totally understand the hype. 8/10. The Xian Bing took about 25 minutes to come out, which makes sense since they're made fresh. The lamb filling was flavorful and the outside was super crispy, almost like a scallion pancake. The bread itself was softer and thicker than I expected and could've used a little more flavor. Overall, this felt like authentic, comforting food that leaves you completely satisfied when you walk out. Next time I'd absolutely order the Dan Dan Noodles again and try the beef noodles, scallion pancakes, and beef dumplings.

We started with house beer, then worked through chicken potstickers, tofu skin salad, the xian bing (freshly baked crispy bread stuffed with cumin lamb), and dan dan noodles. The dan dan noodles were the standout, tangy and spicy in a way that turned almost addictive. The xian bing was a close second, the crust crackly against the rich, cumin-heavy lamb. A solid meal in a no-frills room.

It's crazy it's completely died down by the time we were finished with our meal. The service was great, the interior decor was beautiful and the staff was friendly. The dim sum offered for brunch was good as well but pricey. Especially since some dishes were only offered with two pieces. If you have a party of three then you're kind of forced into buying two of the same dishes. Which is strange. Traditionally most dim sum dishes have three pieces. Rarely see 2 pieces being offered especially for double the price. We ordered their Jiaozi, Char Sui Bao, crab Rangoon, chilly chilli noodles, and their Xiang long Bao. All were great. The chilly chilli noodles is served cold and was very flavorful. The Xiang Kong Bao was amazing. The potstickers was probably my favorite dish and it's mess up char Sui Bao. We were going to order wings but they had ran out I guess by 12pm on a Sunday. I was also going to order fried rice but it wasn't offered for brunch. Overall despite the priciness of the menu, we still enjoyed our food and the service. I obviously knew what I was getting myself into by visiting this place, and can definitely see myself returning in the future.
