Complimentary cream limoncello with lemon "smoke" bubble. So fun!

Wow! Such an amazing experience. The ambiance is elegant yet casual. It starts with a warm greeting, a complimentary sushi bar, white table cloths, very cool cocktail teaser. The food - double wow - perfectly crispy egg rolls, orange chicken, tender Mongolian beef with just the right amount of spice, a veggie noodle dish that was overflowing with yummy goodness, spicy Korean steak and the best shrimp and walnut dish I've ever tasted. The four of us shared everything and still had leftovers. The portions are plentiful, the service attentive and just when we were ready to roll out of the restaurant, an amazing complimentary dessert was brought to our table. Such a memorable experience in a lovely setting. Perfect for a special occasion or just a dinner out. We could see they were doing a robust take out business too!

We ordered for delivery and unfortunately were disappointed. Crab Rangoon was good, but both our dishes were subpar. I got the Orange Chicken, which had a great flavor, but the chicken was very dry. My partner got the Red Chili Chicken, which was also dry and additionally over-salted/became inedible as he tried to eat the dish.

We ordered: Chef's Rice Bowl - garlic fried rice with jumbo shrimp in lobster sauce Peking Duck Gai Lan Beef Salt & Pepper Tofu Pork Egg Rolls Everything about the chefs rice bowl was delicious and cooked properly. Peking duck was... different. The meat was good but it was covered in sauce and on a bed of veggies (see photo) which is not how Peking duck is normally served. Gai Lan beef was flavorful and perfect with white rice. Salt and pepper tofu and pork egg rolls were both tasty but also covered in sauce like the duck. Normally, salt and pepper dishes are sauceless and so are pork egg rolls to stay crispy. I prefer the entree and sauce to stay separate for specific dishes. Server was very nice. Lots of seating for small to big groups.

I had a great experience recently at Friendship Chinese restaurant. The place was very clean and the servers were attentive and knowledgeable about their menu items. We started with some delicious drinks, I wish we had a second round they were so good. The beef shu mai was absolutely delicious! The fire cracker chicken lo mein has the perfect level of spice(if you like spicy food). We also enjoyed the peking duck and Mongolian beef!

We came here for a Sunday dinner. I was surprised at house many people were dining in. I feel like nowadays, Chinese restaurants do more takeout orders than dine in. We were still able to get a table without having to wait. The staff here was great. Very friendly, although they may have been a little understaffed. There was no one at the front to greet people coming in, so there were times where people were waiting up to 5 minutes to get acknowledged. The dining area was very lovely. Beautiful decor, it felt very elegant. We started off with their Cha Sue Bao. Their steamed bbq pork buns. These were so delicious. Very filling for an appetizer and the pork inside was perfect. My wife ordered their Red Chili Chicken. The chicken was fried perfectly, it had a nice crispiness to it with the just right amount of heat. It also came with a side of rice. I ordered their Fire Cracker Chicken Lo Mein. The entire dish was tossed in a spicy Szechuan sauce. This dish was spicier than the red chili chicken but just as delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and you get a lot of noodles. Both dishes were very filling. Definitely more than enough food for two people. The leftovers were still pretty good the day after. Will definitely be returning.

Went here to celebrate my mom's bday. We were first timers and everyone in my party was impressed with the food. I consider this place an upscale Chinese restaurant but the prices are extremely reasonable. The servers were nice and attentive. Love the ambiance and the washrooms are super clean. Definitely recommend this place and would come back for sure.

What a lovely marvel - a mid century modern, quietly spacious Chinese restaurant with a select menu that fits in a small, two page flyer. The service was super friendly and gracious, all questions answered. We had a small dim sum lunch and each dish was prepared to order, some of the best I've had - steamed shrimp dumplings, bbq pork bau, sticky rice with pork wrapped in a leaf and steamed. Even the subtle music - beautiful jazz singing - made us happy. I so want to come back to this gem next time I'm in CHI.

MingHin was packed, loud, and a little chaotic. Worth it. Dim sum is an experience as much as a meal and MingHin delivers on both fronts. We ordered more than we could keep track of. Soup dumplings that immediately became the kids' personal obsession. Shu mai that hit every time. BBQ pork buns in every form they offered because obviously. Chinese broccoli to balance out the indulgence. Everything was solid, fresh, and exactly what you want from a dim sum spread. The room was packed and buzzing but the service kept up impressively. Servers were constantly circling, clearing empty plates and dishes without missing a beat. Clean and attentive even at full capacity, which is no small thing. Fair warning if you are bringing little ones: this environment is a lot. The noise, the crowd, the overwhelming parade of food arriving at the table. Our kids loved what they ate but the sensory experience was a bit much for them. This is a place better suited for a group of adventurous adults or older kids who thrive in high energy environments. Prices are great for the quality and quantity of food you get. A Chinatown institution for good reason. Just know what you are walking into and embrace it fully.

Some of my favorites are the dumplings, various rice dishes, chicken, lemongrass dishes, Mongolian beef, and other traditional offerings. This is a fantastic place for larger groups, and they're very accommodating when it comes to splitting checks. The food comes out quickly, the atmosphere is lively, and there's plenty of variety for everyone. If you're in the area near Joy Yee, MingHin is definitely worth a visit!

The vibes were chill with pop music playing in the background. Service was solid. Our server was knowledgeable, explained the menu well, and answered questions without rushing us. The Pork & Chive Dumplings tasted like something my mom would make at home. The broth they sit in adds a lot of flavor and makes the dish even better. My only nitpick is that I personally prefer a thicker, chewier dumpling wrapper. The Dan Dan Noodles were the standout. Creamy, nutty, crunchy from the peanuts, packed with flavor, and not overly spicy. It was my first time trying dan dan noodles and now I totally understand the hype. 8/10. The Xian Bing took about 25 minutes to come out, which makes sense since they're made fresh. The lamb filling was flavorful and the outside was super crispy, almost like a scallion pancake. The bread itself was softer and thicker than I expected and could've used a little more flavor. Overall, this felt like authentic, comforting food that leaves you completely satisfied when you walk out. Next time I'd absolutely order the Dan Dan Noodles again and try the beef noodles, scallion pancakes, and beef dumplings.

We started with house beer, then worked through chicken potstickers, tofu skin salad, the xian bing (freshly baked crispy bread stuffed with cumin lamb), and dan dan noodles. A solid meal in a no-frills room.

It's crazy it's completely died down by the time we were finished with our meal. The service was great, the interior decor was beautiful and the staff was friendly. The dim sum offered for brunch was good as well but pricey. Especially since some dishes were only offered with two pieces. If you have a party of three then you're kind of forced into buying two of the same dishes. Which is strange. Traditionally most dim sum dishes have three pieces. Rarely see 2 pieces being offered especially for double the price. We ordered their Jiaozi, Char Sui Bao, crab Rangoon, chilly chilli noodles, and their Xiang long Bao. All were great. The chilly chilli noodles is served cold and was very flavorful. The Xiang Kong Bao was amazing. The potstickers was probably my favorite dish and it's mess up char Sui Bao. We were going to order wings but they had ran out I guess by 12pm on a Sunday. I was also going to order fried rice but it wasn't offered for brunch. Overall despite the priciness of the menu, we still enjoyed our food and the service. I obviously knew what I was getting myself into by visiting this place, and can definitely see myself returning in the future.
