Could use more organization behind the counter - the kids who work there are really nice, which is lovely, but they are inexperienced and it shows. I was there today and ordered two sandwiches...while I appreciate that they are freshly made to order and it isn't instantaneous, it took over fifteen minutes. Plus they forgot the pickle, which I had really been looking forward to. $25 for 2 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips and a couple of iced teas is steep. Dang it's good. I picked up cinamon rolls and other baked goods for a networking meeting - my turn to buy. Just told Pblo how many people and let his crew do the rest. I was a hero the minute I arrived, and it didn't matter what I said after that. This is a follow up to my previous review which was almost exactly a year ago. The Warrenton Great Harvest is one of my favorite places to go when visiting my family. Pablo has been super and beyond helpful via phone and email in order to provide us with fantastic cookies. This visit was our first time meeting in person. I visited the store the day before Thanksgiving and as always was greeted warmly and graciously by the sweet staff. They were friendly and appear happy to be at work and to be serving the public. I joked with my bf that I wish we could do a Star Trek trick and beam the staff to any Miami Beach retail/food business. Anyway, Pablo came over and was happy to meet us. We chatted for a while and even took corny family pics...must have been the country air. Anyway, it's seriously the only place where I'll eat a cookie. The store manages to maintain this small town, warm friendly vibe. Pretty appealing to us city folk who sometimes just wanna slow down, have a cup of coffee and an oatmeal cookie. We really dug Pablo and as always consumed too many cookies in too few days. Most locals already make regular visits. They are really rude to me and my family. One time I brung my little cousins there with me and the workers were saying bad things about them and laughing at them and we could hear every word! Today I took a cookie sample and the lady gave me a dirty look and took the cookies away from the sample table. We asked for a cup of water and a lady gave me hot water with no ice--then turned around and gave another women ice with hers. One told my 6 year old cousin that she couldnt have a sample because her siblings already had one. One time they told me I couldnt have a sample because of some "allergy plan" then i was told by one of the nice workers that there was no allergy plan. Im tired of Great Harvest's shit . read more

Absolute wonderful local bakery! Huge variety of super sweet pastries and some on the savory side All breads are created with freshly milled wheat - and you do pay for that. It is not the $2 a loaf you get in a grocery store! But what a joy to feed my family breads without the added preservatives found in store bought bread. Love this place! read more

Went for lunch on Sunday and got a BLT on white bread. I could tell the bacon was cooked in a microwave, because it was too chewy and came out of the sandwich with each bite. May want to fry the bacon instead to keep it crisp and maybe toast the bread for this sandwich. The employees here were very friendly. read more

I always look forward to going to Great Harvest when I'm in Warrenton, but lately the quality has been rapidly declining. During my last visit, I ordered a loaf of bread and when I got home, I found a hair in it. I had to throw the whole thing out. First time back since the pandemic changed our lives. I decided to try for the first time: The apple cobbler bread was undercooked with raw dough on the very top under the apples, definitely underbaked. I cut the top layer off and ate the remaining portion which was really yummy but for $10/loaf that was a quite expensive treat! The peach cobbler bread was perfect, I gave it to my mother and she really enjoyed it, no issue with it being underbaked. The Dakota bread was a little on the dry side (my husband actually choked on it) but I enjoyed all the seeds in the dense grain bread and it would have been magic if it were not so dry (had to throw half the loaf out). I did notice the store is set up differently than I remember, I'm sure due to the pandemic. I'm glad to see they are still in business but this particular visit for me was a little "meh"... based on the cost spent and lack of impressive and edible product. Wow! The people who work there are super nice! While we were waiting in line they give us a choice of breads to taste along with spreads. The bread was fresh and the spreads were homemade. The Warrenton Great Harvest is a special place. The owner Pablo and his staff are enthusiastic bakers and people who strive to create a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. The bread is varied and is the best I've had. They work hard to perfect a bread until its ready for debut. I brought home the Popeye, which is a flavorful bread full of surprises. My wife and I had drinks and tried other bread on offer, all of the breads were tasty. I love this place and will miss it having moved from the area. read more

Every Friday at noon, Pablo Teodoro and his gang at Great Harvest stop what theyre doing and sing the National Anthem. They also honor a fallen military veteran beforehand. In Warrenton there isn't alot to do. I'd say for teens this is one of the major social hubs, the first would be carousel, but thats only in the summer. They have delicious bread, delicious smoothies and delicious customer service. I'd say some of the staff is more delicious then others, by delicious I mean helpful,kind,etc. Chelsea and Nicola are particularly delicious. Not only are they both friendly, give large sample sizes and good functioning members of the staff, They're good people. Give these girls raises. read more

A national franchise moves into Old Town just months after Warrenton finally gets its own bakery. We've been anticipating this since we live nearby and this end of town seems to have been left out of the fun. Is it a step above? No, frankly, we're disappointed with very dry, earthy products. Most bread has a quite-similar taste, and it's closer to Whole Foods cardboard than artisan bread. The blueberry muffin we split had the same problem: tasteless, dry, mother-earthy, and THREE bucks! If you need to eat in a chain try the much-better Panera on the bypass; we're heading back to the locally-owned Red Truck Bakery. read more

Great Harvest Warrenton came through with a tremendous array of delectable treats and coffee. They were a life saver for me personally--guided me in selections and quantity since I had never arranged food for such a large crowd before.
