We went there yesterday for breakfast, and the owner greeted us with a huge smile and friendly conversation. She remembered us, even though we've only been there about 5 times in the last year or so. Service was the perfect pace & very attentive throughout our meal. We have popped into this place for probably ten years and they've had different owners and names in that time. This is the newest name and owner. The food is fantastic and they have a lot of great options for sides. At most places I can't get a side salad to go with my burger instead of fries, but I can here and I love that option! I'm not a big fan of ranch dressing these days, but theirs is VERY GOOD and I always order it with my salad there. I love the guacamole burger and the taco salad with carne asada. Their salsa is really good, too! I haven't had their beans in years, but they used to be the creamiest and most delicious refried beans. Next time I go, I will try them again to see if they're still amazing. The new owners are so gracious and attentive (they remember our order and we aren't able to go all that often so that's super cool!) and I wish them many years of success. This location has changed names so many times since I've lived in corona (20+ yrs) and this last time I went the service was good, very kind and attentive, they ran out of the items we asked but kindly asked if we would like another option which we didn't mind, steak was cooked well and tasted great. Only down fall is this location has always had an odor. (Sewer smell) since we moved in this location has had this problem and that is the main reason I stopped going to this spot, I've tried it every time it's changed its name/owners and they never fix the smell, they might have move flow in customers if the smell issue would be fixed, hard to eat comfortably when I'm smelling sewer. read more

Great service! Good food! We came in not realizing it was under new management and wow could you feel it right when you walked it. I was greeted immediately by a friendly face and was seated right away. I ordered the chilaquiles (green) and they were delicious. It came with potatoes and was a good portion size. The chips were fresh and crispy, not drenched and soggy like I've experienced quite often. My husband ordered a 2 egg breakfast with sausage and it also was a hearty portion. I would love to give a higher rating as we had been coming to this location for years since it was Brandon's Diner, then Roadside Café, and now Green River Cafe. We love supporting new businesses and we're really hopeful that this new ownership would make a difference, but service was bad as they were totally understaffed, the waiter had trouble working the new POS system so was very difficult to get our bill figured out, and the food just wasn't good at all. My wife ordered a steak, medium well, and it literally came out rare. Not only that, it had a strong smell of old meat, which was totally disgusting. The waiter did take it back and apologized, so we appreciate the effort, but unfortunately, the food just wasn't good at all. I truly hope they are able to figure things out and invest in decent cooks and additional servers as I really would love to see them do well. But, it was such a disappointing experience that I don't think we will be back. read more
