Our server, Matt was amazing! He goes the extra mile to make the customer happy. Great food race service!

Stopped in on our way back from New London. Got there about 5ish , was greeted and seated right away! Hostess was nice & she brought bottled water over. Few moments after the server arrived, took drink order and we looked the menu over! Several great choices! We both had a side garden salad, they looked beautiful & they were very fresh! He had the fish fry ( was the Friday special ) I choose the Seafood Risotto. Entrees came out and looked amazing! His fish was awesome not greasy or over battered! Light and airy! ( haddock ) I took a bite or two! It was good. My seafood Risotto was very good as well, alot of shrimp , scallops & lobster , flavor was a tad bland but was not the the worst i have had, I would even order this on my next visit! Very cozy decorated in the area we sat. Waitress was on-top of stuff , but we felt relaxed and not rushed in any way. The pace of the food was perfect timing! Only reason not a 5 star is the desserts were ok but only 3 choices. 1 pie , 1 5 layer chocolate cake & lemon mascarpone cake. I was hoping for a fresh berry tart or something more seasonal. But we will be going back soon!!

dried out garnish and almost raw carrots. The garnish doesn't reflect well in this picture. It was all dried out and gross.

This past Wednesday was my birthday and we chose to go to Greenside. We had not been here for a couple of years and our past experiences were excellent. However the restaurant sold, unbeknownst to us, a while ago and it is not at all the same as it once was. First, with the new addition bar, the main dining room is empty and it was quite chilly. Tables are gone and only a few remaining for seating. It was pasta night and my husband ordered the chicken pam for his meal. The sauce tasted like it was out of a can. It was not a good meal for him at all. I ordered the steak tips rare which was my favorite... they were dry, not juicey and tough to chew. The carrots were so al denté that they were raw and could not be easily sliced even with a knife. The potatoes were good. I felt badly to tell this to our waitress who said she would need to speak to the manager and would replace the carrots. New carrots (LOTS of them) arrived but they too were not edible and neither was the meat. my meal was taken off the bill but I could not eat it. The manager was so loud telling us all about the sale and other things that the whole restaurant heard it much to my embarrassment. They wanted to charge an up-charge if they brought me juice for the steak tips and she was not a nice person or kind or understanding in anyway. Our waitress was wonderful. Isabella was understanding and kind and felt badly for all that had taken place. She should find a much nicer place to work. On our way out the door another few folks were heading in to play Wednesday night bingo and overheard us remarking to each other that we would not return and they said that the previous week for pasta night they did not have spaghetti and meatballs available. Sigh... this was once a nice restaurant. How sad and when I texted a friend about our mutual experiences eating with them there, they said that it was, since sold, very hit or miss and have chosen to not go there anymore as the food was so bad. The garnish, as you can see in the picture I've posted, was suppose to be fresh, but it was all brownish and dried out. Yep, my suggestion is to not go there and support this place and that the manager needs to learn manners, kindness and how to dress like a manager... Don't waste your money... do not go here.

First time here and we tried a variety of appetizers and I had the fish and chips. The food was tasty and the flight of mimosas which was fun and delicious. Kayla was our server and was very personable; and everything came out in a timely manner. It's been a while since going out to eat, and this was definitely a night to remember! Thank you.

Decided to come here after seeing Gary Hoey in concert last night. Turned to be a very nice breakfast experience. Had the Western Omelet with a side of corned beef hash. Wife had a combo meal of French toast, scrambled eggs and bacon. Everything is good. Service excellent and we were done in an hour. Will definitely return when in the area!

The scallops wrapped in bacon is the best I've ever had. And this little fruit salad they make is wonderful..

Food is usually good; wait staff is attentive, but lately the prices have risen to where locals can find better options.

This first time maybe over a year ago, the guy who is also a entertainer and piano player was the BEST- we laughed and he helped me figure out my order that took more over 20 minutes to narrow down. Today -when the guy who made my sandwich called my name to pick it up, he was so nice and said thank you so much I really hope you enjoy it and let me know if I needed anything - (again, it took over 20 minutes to decide) I just found out , the guys name is Nick because as he was walking passed my table, he just asked how everything came out - That's some really great service - Also everything I have ever ordered is so fresh and tasty with so many diffrent flavors. (I LOVE THAT) - so I'm not a big review person but just wanted the managers to know they have great staff and they are doing something right to keep good staff. (So please keep taking care of them) they make your business successful.) Thanks again - JJSMOM -

I can't speak to the dining room area because I ordered online and my bag was ready when I picked up from the shelf area. The woman at the pick up area greeted me warmly and hoped we enjoyed, quite pleasant. My sandwich was the chicken salad with sourdough bread and it was delish! Creamy mayo, excellent chicken, no chewy/fatty chicken and fresh tasting avocado. Easy to find on the main strip in Tilton with plenty of parking

Wow, just wow. Maybe we were just hungry, but this place was terrific!…read more My daughter is vegan and gluten free, but they had a bowl that she really loved! I had a delicious grilled cheese sandwich, not greasy, that is served with a nice-sized bowl of greens and your choice of dressing. Plus you get a side, chosen from among the day's list - I enjoyed the lemon slaw. Not very lemony, but definitely not bogged down with mayo so I dumped it into my salad! Good freshly made food at decent prices. Totally recommend!

I'm torn between giving Trillium Farm to Table a 4 or 5 star…read more I'll err on the side of giving them the 5 star because I got a great sense of the team's passion while we were there yesterday, as well as our food. Our food was fantastic! I hadn't had lamb out much in the last year and they did it up super delicious in the pita! Yes! It was so flavorful and juicy. Yum! My husband had the same and agreed. My daughter had the steak wrap and said it was fantastic too. We all had the spicy slaw and thought it was superb. Now, what we didn't like was that as first time guests, we couldn't figure out what to do for a minute or so, as there's nothing immediately pointing you to the 'on wall' menu, which is toward the back of the place, past the cashier. Three of us standing there to look at the menu was blocking others from going out back to the patio to eat (plates and drinks in their hands). It wasn't crowded for a Saturday afternoon but it was still noisy. We cleaned up after ourselves, though we still tipped. I hadn't noticed the bin for dirty dishes on the side counter when I got us silverware and straws. Next time I won't tip. It's quite self serve. Order and pickup from the same counter. I would recommend they work on a customer foot path 'flow.' They could hire a hostess or greeter, or perhaps provide better signage on where to go and what to do, similar to 'Five Guys' restaurants.

We were headed to a concert that evening and, as usual when we're traveling, Yelp helped us find…read moredinner. Onions Pub & Restaurant turned out to be one of those places that makes you glad you trusted the reviews. Housed in the historic Tilton Inn, the restaurant has plenty of character before you even open the menu. We chose the pub side, which has a fun, relaxed atmosphere and felt like exactly the right place to kick off the evening. We started by sharing the French onion soup, and I'm glad we did. It was outstanding and easily one of the better versions I've had in quite some time. My partner ordered one of the entrée salads, which looked fresh, generous, and every bit as satisfying as my fish and chips. I paired the fish and chips with a Smithwick's Irish Red Ale. The fish was crisp, flaky, and satisfying--the kind of pub meal that's hard to improve on. The service added just as much to the experience as the food. Our waitress was also tending bar and happily shared the story behind both the historic inn and the restaurant's unusual name. As we learned, "Onion" is actually an affectionate nickname for Bermudians, a nod to the island's once-famous onion exports. Since the owner is half Bermudan, the name fits perfectly. She was one part bartender, one part server, and one part docent, and it made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Onions is a little quirky in all the right ways, with good food, welcoming people, and a setting that feels like it has stories to tell. If you're in the area--whether you're heading to a concert or just passing by on I-93--it's well worth the stop. Five stars.

The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for, a beautiful, local restaurant that was not a chain restaurant. Out of all the meals I had this week on my trip, this was by far the best I've had.
