The slowest service and absolutely horrible at communicating at greenway Mazda. Didn't even get the service we were promised. Buying a car here great, very slow but great. Even the finance guy commented on the hour and half it took from us saying yes and getting back there to him. But if they offer a free service to buff out a scratch or anything when buying, I'd suggest just asking for a discount. Benny of Greenway Mazda kept giving me a time to come get the spare and buff out a couple scratches but when I got there the service department didn't have me on the books nor was the guy there. So we scheduled to come back the next week since I had my 7 month old with me and could afford to wait forever. When I got there around 12:30 the second time I had to wait 20 mins for Benny to get there. He then took my keys to the guy and I heard nothing for 2 hours. I asked Benny how much longer and he said he didn't know but he'll check. Nothing. Waited about another hour and Benny finally comes over and tells me they're about to program the spare key and throw on my plates. Also mentions that they didn't wash my car cause he thought we'd prefer to do that. 40 mins passed and I finally walk over to him. He says it takes a minute to program keys. I mentioned it's been 40 minutes. He then says they just pulled my car up. When I finally got my key they didn't even put my front plate on and still had scratches all over my car. Total time spent there with a 7 month old was 4 hours. All to not even buff out a few scratches, not wash our car, program a spare key and put one plate on. They also do not have a changing table on site. Overall I'd rather go to another place that cares about their customers. read more

I took my CX-30 in this afternoon for routine oil change and tire rotation. They were timely. HOWEVER, when I returned home, I looked at my tires. I had hit a curb last Friday and scraped my passenger front wheel. The wheel WAS IN THE SAME PLACE. I contacted the dealer service department and spoke with a young lady. She said she would check to make sure the tire rotation was completed. Placed me on a brief hold, and returned to advise me that yes, it was completed. I then asked her is it normal to rotate a couple of tires and not all of them? The scraped wheel IS IN THE SAME PLACE. She became defensive so I stated that I did not believe her and thank you very much. I proceeded to hang up. I am wondering if the oil change was even completed. Needless to say, I will not return to that dealership for any maintenance. read more

Greenway Mazda will scam you. I've kept my mouth shut on public outlets until today. I encourage anyone looking to do business with greenway to look elsewhere. I'm here to tell you how they really are. They will do what ever they must to get the most money out of you. I have tried in vain to get into contact with anyone willing to help me. We traded in our vehicle on July 18th, it was a grueling process that drained us mentally jumping through the financial hoops provided to us such as: the sticker claiming the vehicle was certified but finance telling us it was not. The addition of services that we did not need nor request and were told they couldn't take off that made the car almost 9k higher than sticker. The car had a defective screen, we asked for it to be replaced, we had it in writing from the manager and proof of a conversation in which we were told it would happen. It has not happened. They refused to give us the signed paper from the manager, who, when looking at the website is just some random person in the finance department. The car itself, was not detailed when it was given to us, we had to pay for it to be detailed to remove the cigarette tar and stain filled seats, water droplets on the ceiling from where they hadn't closed the roof all the way on a convertible. We were told if we had issues then we were to contact the used car sales manager, I emailed him once then sent two follow ups with all the proof in the world through photos but he never once cared. However our sales person, Vincent, told us over the phone he had seen the email. So why were we never contacted? I guess we don't matter. On July 28th a car payment was pulled by our lien company which is the date we generally paid our car payment however the car had been sold for ten days at this point. We contacted them immediately and were told Greenway hadn't paid them. We contact greenway the same day, they said they'd sent it electronically on the 27th for $29,142.71. We requested proof of that for our lien company, which we got so we have proof. It is also our CONTRACTED pay off amount we expected that money back because someone, not us, made a mistake. So we were expecting a refund of our car payment from either our lien company or greenway. We've had no follow up. We call our lien company today, come to find out, Mazda called them on August 1st to ADJUST the payoff amount sub our last payment. So in reality, Greenway paid off $28,469.55 as of August 2nd. I'd love to know how that makes sense, how its legal, how they're even able to void our entire contract and think we either wouldn't notice or not expect to receive the $673.16 difference. We tried to contact Trey, the finance manager who helped us the day of purchase only to be told we'd have to hear from accounting. We've tried to call accounting multiple times. No response AS USUAL. I've tried to contact corporate only to be told a number magically can't be pulled up by Rinannon. I've never had a worse experience buying a car in my entire life. I'm near distraught trying to figure out what we're going to do. $600 isn't a lot to Greenway obviously, but to two young people, trading in their car to get a lower monthly payment, just trying to get by in these hard times- it's been terrible. I feel preyed on. And I hope this gets fixed as soon as possible. read more

This place, like many I'm sure in the current market, unfortunately doesn't care about listening to the customer and working to find them a vehicle they actually want. Vincent barely listened to the details I tried to communicate regarding the car I wanted. He then abruptly took me out to a cx5 and said more or less "look you buy this car at 32k right now or else someone else will buy it by tonight". The Cx5, it turns out, wasn't even the trim level he was saying it was. Absolute moron. It wasn't even the car I wanted, I hadn't even taken it for a test drive and he was basically trying to get me to sign the dotted line. Got placed with a different salesman - thick balding dude. Went out to test drive a different vehicle with him. The car (2020 used) smelled like smoke with crumbs and sticky residue in the console. This guy barely gave a crap about that or any other questions I had, and literally texted the entire test drive. Didn't ask me one question about what kind of details I was looking for in a car or how he could help. Literally didn't care. read more

Unfortunately we were not given the option as to which Mazda dealership we would be conducting business with. Due to our special circumstance we were sent to Greenway Mazda halfway across town. Our car was due for a key to be made. We were informed it would take about an hr to complete this service. We were offered by the service department to have their shuttle service take us and pick us up from whatever location while the job was being done. We chose a local spot Roughly a mile and a half away. It took the driver about 6min to drop us off. We were given a contact to call when we were ready to get picked up. We made sure to call before we were done so they would have sufficient time to pick us up. Here it is 50min later we have contacted the department multiple times and only seem to reach a voicemail. & to top it off we are stuck in the middle of nowhere! Horrible service experience. I recommend not to offer a service that only half way delivers. The worst part is it's a 40min walk and requires crossing major highway streets. Never using this service or dealership location again. read more

Bought my car here and my sales person Curtis was a nice man but afterwards when I had to do the financial parts of it they only had one person and it seriously took 3 hrs before I got to get in there to sign all the paperwork. They tried to sell me a warranty of course but when I said no the girl gave me some attitude which took me back. Cut to about 3 months later I got my oil changed there (your first oil change is free), and this is no exaggeration, it took them and hour and 50 min! Why even bother making an appointment. I found the CX5 I wanted from the internet and the internet Sales person was great! It's what occurred during the purchase that made my Greenway Mazda experience go down. The automobile was purchased on a Friday evening, but I had to come back on Saturday to complete the paperwork. I informed the finance person that they will have to deposit my check that day, so that the funds go through. I did not want them to wait for Monday, because it was the fourth of July and the banks were closed.They didn't listen and deposited it the following Wednesday. I had already drove off of the lot with the CX5 that Saturday I went back. I was forced to reapply for another loan because the check was not deposited when asked, which caused me to complete the paperwork process all over again. 2 months later, I was informed that my "special ordered" part arrived. The shop manager called and told me that I can pick it up, but I did not know what it was because I didn't order a part. When I called multiple times to let them know I was coming, no one had a clue where this part went. I went to the location twice and everyone was clueless. In the end, it was a replacement part they already installed when I purchased the car. Someone finally took initiative to find out what it was. Although I didn't go through the process of financing, I find the salesman very rude. First of all, I felt very unsafe as he took us to get gas in a very ghetto looking neighborhood. Second, every time he was speaking, I felt as if he was speaking to a mouse and when I asked him to repeat it he got irritated. And lastly, I wanted to know the price on the vehicle before I made any decision but he literally took 20 minutes in the finance office and came back with a "finance manager" and they said they couldn't give me a price because I wasn't buying. Had an easy time deciding on the beautiful 2017 Mazda CX-5. My sales guy was Christian and he was new to the dealership, but excellent. Told me everything I needed to know about the vehicle and didn't push me into anything I wasn't looking for (like upgrades such as leather seats and moonroofs). I test drove on a Friday, went back Saturday for another test drive and signed the papers that day. They had the car ready for me Monday as I dropped off the checks for payment. I would have given them -5 if I could. OMG! Please beware. I had leased an SUV from this dealership. Yesterday, I went to purchase the car as I was approaching the end of the lease. I had driven the car very little and it was almost like new. My contract clearly read "you have an option to purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease term for $16,964.10". The lease contract also indicated an administrative fee of $50. They wanted to charge me the following: about $19,000 for the car, $990 for an inspection, $1700 in taxes that were already paid at the beginning of the lease, $1500 for a "certification". They refused to honor the residual value of the car indicated clearly in the lease agreement. I called the financing institution (Chase Auto) which informed me that these were fraudulent charges. The value of the car was the amount indicated in the lease agreement, an inspection and certification were not necessary and taxes were their invention. When I requested a copy of the itemized charges, they refused (of course). I paid the lease off directly with Chase this morning. The full amount today was what it stated in the contract (my total was $17,014.10). NO OTHER CHARGES. All of those fees were bogus. You draw your own conclusions before you go to this place. read more

First, the dealership is quite nice. Nice selection of cars. The process of test driving a car is great until you start talking about money. Obviously. Anyways besides that, we test drove the car. We went back to look at it a second time in one day just to further our decision. My boyfriend kept the keys in his pocket by habit. Went back to the desk where Curtis sits, talked some more and finally decided the final price was way too high. We were there for two hours just talking, and only got about $800 down. This was Friday around 2 pm. So we left, got home at around 10pm ish and realized we still had the keys! I thought it was odd since we hadn't received a phone call from Curtis all day. The only voicemail/call I received was from the receptionist about our inquiry. So I called the next day in the morning to let Curtis know the situation. On the phone, he laughed and said 'No wonder, I was looking for that key everywhere.' He thought he misplaced it. I also told him I would try to get the keys back as soon as I can. I let him know I live by Lake Houston which is completely on the other side of Greenway so I didn't know how quickly I could come to drop it off. I told him I could possibly Tuesday after work. Well Tuesday came around, and I couldn't do the drive over there. Curtis called me and left a message that day asking if I could still make it by etc. I called him back to tell him I couldn't and that I would find a day that week to come, I was thinking Saturday but didn't tell him because I didn't know if that day would work just yet. Curtis then said he was going to need me to come in soon or I would have to pay $300 for the key. I said 'no, I can't do that is there anything else I can do, like send it somehow without me having to make the drive?'. As a salesman and anyone else that would work for a dealership, it is their responsibility to get keys back. Initially when I called him to let him know about the key, he didn't even know that I had it. If it wasn't for me calling he wouldn't have known the key wasn't at the dealership. And then he wants me to pay $300? After that he said, 'Okay you can drop it in the mail and send the key back to us. (In a nice voice, so I thought, great he is trying to work with me to get the key back!) I said 'Okay that works, will you send something or how do I send it to you without spending money to send it since it wasn't my fault?'. (I send a lot of stuff thru USPS and FedEx so I know sending something isn't cheap). He then responds, "oh, so it's like that?" I continued to tell him about how it wasn't my fault and I shouldn't have to pay to send a key back nor my responsibility and that he shouldn't talk to me that way. I was trying to find a solution, but it all sounded like it was going to be me spending money. Finally he said, Okay let me send you a box where you can mail it back with the key because he wouldn't be able to afford $300 out of his paycheck which I completely understand.Once again, I told him that I could do that. I said Great, and I gave him my address. Two times he expects me to spend my time and money giving a key back that he failed to keep track of. I was willing to make the drive over there. I have no other business in that area besides visiting the dealership. But do not try and tell me I will have to pay for a key when I am trying to find a day to drive to that side of town. I called the sales manager letting him know my complaint. He was very understanding and apologized. I will be sending the key back as I originally intended but some people need to work on their customer service! I am so happy I did not end up buying that car. Wife and I flew into Houston loaded with reviews on cars and area dealerships. We could not have asked for any better treatment from Kevin the salesman. A great price that we could easily live with. He proceeded to introduce us to the receptionist, a very warm and friendly gal; sales director, professional and courteous and keen on making sure we were well taken care of; which we were. I took my car to this dealership because I needed 3 new tires urgently and they were the only ones who could take me in right away (little did I know the reason for that) The technician put on the new tires, balanced them, "test drove" the vehicle and sent me on my way. As soon as I was on the freeway and the speed was over 55 my car started shaking like crazy. I went back to the dealership but the technician had left, I guess he was in a hurry to leave. Also, when I reversed this strange screeching noise started coming from the car, something I never had before in the three years I have owned the car. Came back the next day and was told the balancing was not right and they rebalanced the tires. Was also told the reverse screeching had nothing to do with the work they did (even though it never happened before and whatever rebalancing they did made the noise go away) and said it must have been the dew. Well I park in a parking garage on the 4th floor and somehow the dew decided to only mess with my car the day after I took it to their dealership , but whatever.... Drove out again and the shaking was better but still there and the car felt completely different than when I got the tires changed. I took the car back to them and was told there is nothing they can do about it and the shaking was happening because the "rim was bent". I guess they wanted me to buy a new rim and somehow the "bent" rim never affected the car before. Anyways, I decided to cut my loses and drove straight from there to NTB. They were able to balance the tires correctly, they also said nothing was wrong with my rim and it was not bent. Now my car feels and drives like normal again. I would not be taking my car for service to this dealership ever again if they can not even handle a simple balancing and instead of admitting the issue keep blaming circumstances and other car parts for it. I came out with more issues with my car with what I went in with and had to spend additional money getting my tires balanced which should be a basic and professional service provided when you buy new tires. read more

Uninformative, high pressure sales. It was very difficult to even find out what they had in stock. Dude wouldn't provide any stats on any cars. Even after I informed him I was also in the sales business continued tired old high pressure tricks but totally failed to back it up with any information. Also just on an overall everything we looked at was really dirty. Of the three cars we were allowed to see two were extremely filthy. I know they get used inventory in all the time but they should have some kind of system to tidy them up at least a little bit when they arrive. Their was a car here we kind of liked but I'm not interested in doing business here way too shady with a lack of respect for giving information to customers. My mistake was I didn't get the name of the person so when I got there to the service area , the parts are not available. I drove 17 miles and miles miles back with heavy traffic. I wish I could leave a comment without leaving a star! Stay away from this dealership. I bought a used car and there were a couple of scratches here and there, the seat belt in the back driver side didn't work and the drop down lever for the seat on the same side didn't work. Needless to say we signed our paperwork got our "We Owe" and went to get into the car. Before we did my husband noticed there were 2 bigger scratches that appeared on the car after the car came back from detail. We brought this up to our sales person Kevin and he brought some manager "Drew" to look at the scratches. Drew looked at the scratches and then said " Oh come on, what do you expect from a used car. " (Very Sarcastically ) He went ahead and wrote it on our "We Owe" and proceeded to tell me he would need "x" amount of dry days before he could even bring the car to paint. He then said someone would contact us to arrange everything. Well, months went by and no one ever called to make the arrangements to fix any of our issues. I went ahead and called to see if they had the parts to fix my car and service told me I needed to schedule an appointment. I scheduled the appointment just for them to tell me they didn't have the parts and would have to order them. I then asked Roy when they can paint my car. He told me that wasn't his department to take care of and he would have someone call us. A month or so went by and my parts are in so I had to schedule a 2nd appointment. Went in they fixed one issue but the 2nd part was ordered incorrectly and I addressed my paint issues Again! So since I was going to have to schedule a 3 appointment Tabitha began to tell me when my 2nd part came in they would fix everything at once. The paint and the part and they would pick my car up from me and give me a loaner. YAY me, Right? ! Wrong? ! Long story short. . After a week and a half of fighting with these people they did not fix the major scratches they made, kept my copy of the We Owe, my CD collection went missing along with my stack of coupons. I last spoke to someone Friday and am still waiting on a resolution. They have given my husband and I the runaround and they are not returning our calls. I've lost over $1,000 worth of CDs and my scratches were not taken care of. All I want is what I was promised and what was taken from me! read more

Better Communication Would Have Been Appreciated: Completed $118 evaluation and left. Called back 2 days before dropping off car for repair and requested the needed part be ordered. Returned Saturday 10/1/16 to Mazda for the following: vehicle inspection, after what's supposed to be a two-hour emissions repair. Was told wrong part was ordered. No problem. Things happen. So I gave THREE PHONE NUMBERS to Belter, gratefully accepted the loaner he offered, and was on my way. No contact Monday. No contact by Tuesday 3pm, so I call Mazda and reach the female service adviser. She checks with Belter and says something about parts and something else??. Gave her a FOURTH contact number because I knew one of the original three was out. (Misplaced my cell phone so I suspended my account) Nothing Wednesday, or Thursday by 3pm so I again call Mazda. According to Belter the car hadn't been driven because he wasn't able to get in contact with me. (WHAT??) Gave permission for workers to drive my car. Called Friday and according to Belter car failed emissions test. Returned Saturday 10/8/16 to take car. Repairs were completed but was missing inspection sticker because the machine that is used for state inspections was "down". (I had already shared that I didn't want to drive with an expired tag.) Took the car anyway. I also have a new scratch on my bumper that I'm pretty certain wasn't there when I dropped it off. Regardless, after all is said and done my car runs GREAT. Way better than when I dropped it off. However the lack of communication and excessive inconsistencies make me unwilling to return. read more

This was one of the more bizarre car purchasing experiences I've had. Went in on a Friday around 6pm and was immediately greeted by a nice sales person. We test drove two cars and he was very helpful in answering our questions. Asked for a quote on a few options and he said he would follow up. We thought this was odd to not be able to immediately get a quote but figured maybe he didn't want to pressure us. We didn't receive an email with the quote until later the next day. After receiving the quote, we responded letting them know that we were interested and came back with an initial counter offer. After 3 days of not hearing back, we followed up and and still almost a week later have not received a response. About a day after receiving the initial quote, we received an email from the manager asking if we had any questions, we let him know that we had responded to his colleague's email with some questions. Never heard anything from him either. I can appreciate the sales folks not being too pushy, but I felt that it was odd that there was no follow through. I didn't feel like going through the process with them if they weren't going to be responsive. Ultimately, we decided to go to another dealership and got the car for a little more than $1,000 what we countered with the Greenway rep so we know we weren't being completely unreasonable with numbers. read more

First, my wife and I were met at the door by the GM/Partner Steven Dean. What other dealerships get that personal attention? We chatted for a few minutes about what we wanted (2016 CX5 Grand Touring) and then Mr. Dean passed us off to his sales guy Bryan Naghi. Mr.Naghi was equally pleasant and put us at ease as to moving forward in selecting a car, test driving it, sharing his knowledge to us about the vehicle, and then final negotiation and purchase. Due to the fact that the car that we wanted was not in inventory at Greenway, the dealership had to search and acquire the vehicle which took about a day. All during this process, Mr. Dean had called me to let me know what the status was. As the vehicle came in the next day, I went out to the dealership to finalize the paperwork with their Finance Manager (Treon Simmons) which again was a pleasant experience. Lastly, since I was unable to drive the car home (I was in my car), the dealership went out to pick up my wife the next day from home so that she could drive the car home. All in all, the most pleasant car buying experience in my 56 years! read more

Absolutely wonderful dealership. I came in a 7pm on a weekday. I didn't remember who I talked to on the phone but I went on a test drive with a different salesmen. When we got back we had just begun to talk numbers when they realized who I had talked to on the phone. The salesmen knew at this point I was going to buy the car, and without hesitation handed the sale over to the newer salesmen I had originally called, and helped him through the process. That selflessness in the original salesmen who easily had justification to complete the sale to just hand it over to the new guy was very admirable. To negotiate the trade value on my car and the price I wanted on the certified pre-owned vehicle I had my eyes set on (a 2016 Miata Club manual with the rare bbs/brembo package) took just several minutes due to the transparency in their negotiating. The whole process, including getting financing and signing everything only took about 2.5 hours. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I will update this review as I continue to deal with their service department and if any warranty issues come up, but so far Greenway Mazda has delivered and I would highly recommend them if you're in the market for a Mazda. read more

Zero stars for service! I took my car in for service on Saturday January 7th the front end was shaking and smelled of burning plastic. They looked at it said nothing was wrong. I drove it to work Monday barely made it. Took it to my mechanic the tires were hot he said it was one of 2 things about$300 bucks but then he saw recall on front end so I called Mazda and they towed on Thursday January 12th. They fixed recall and said they didn't see anything else . I asked them to call my mechanic they said no. I called Thursday morning was told again nothing wrong with my car. I called the Service managers boss, at 5pm was called and told my car now has 3,000 dollars worth of repairs on front end! I told my mechanic he said no way! I went to pick up my car and they still swore they couldn't repeat my complaints about car. The smart ass manager said be safe driving! I didn't even get to underpass and car was shaking so bad my daughter was crying, had to drive with flashers to get home! Dangerous, shitty service!!!!!! read more

First 2 tries didn't work out the way my wife want it, 3rd time was great. The management really try very hard to make better deal with the customer, what happen before to this dealership is time to let it go new management, new people, very friendly. Recommend anyone. read more

I purchased a vehicle from a nearby dealership and had a pre -purchase inspection done by Greenway Mazda. I am from Austin, TX so the purchase was done remotely. I trusted Greenway to give an accurate and detailed PPI, to alleviate any concern I had about the car. After the "green light" to buy, I had the car shipped to me. Less than 50 miles into my ownership, the throttle body went out. After the diagnosis my mechanic gave, he called me and asked if the vehicle had been in a flood at any point. Evidently there was mud all inside the undercarriage and all over the shocks and struts. Residual damage may exist and I could be facing a lot of $$$ in repairs. What's alarming is that my mechanic said that with the car on a lift, any PPI mechanic should have noticed the water/mud damage. I heard nothing of it until today. I am wondering if they put my car on a lift to look, or just diagnosed any codes with a computer. Either way, I got ripped off and lied to. I am a victim of neglect and I hold Greenway Mazda responsible. After I tried to get any sort of compensation, Diana in the services department told me off. Thanks a lot Diana, you will be hearing from me again in small claims court. read more

This dealership sent out a sweepstakes program and in order to see if I won the prize I was told I had to give them my social security number. I was told repeatedly they would not run my SS # for a credit report. I made it very clear to everyone I spoke to I was not there to by a car since the sweepstakes clearly said "no purchase necessary". The last person who escorted me outside said that he was was being watched and wanted me to know that the GM wanted him to say something so offensive that he wasn't going to tell me and it would make me mad if he told me. That made me angry anyway. Fast foward to today...I received a letter notifying me that they did run a credit report. When I called the dealership to tell them what I received and that I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I was told that "the people running that program are no longer there." I want everyone to know that this dealership is extremely unprofessional and don't fall for their dishonorable marketing tactics. BEWARE of this dealership and their deceptive trade practices. read more

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I received a flyer in the mail with a scratch off on it, and it made it look like I had won $5000. I was skeptical at first, but read through all the fine print which was a little vague, but didn't seem like a scam. I called the dealership today and asked how it all works, which was when they told me to go up there and "claim my prize". I drove an hour one way to be greeted at the door and was immediately seated with a girl named Mandy. I told her I believed I won and that I was only there to claim my prize. She immediately pointed out that the event ended 3/11/2017 (the same day my ticket came in the mail). When I informed her of that she said that she would see what they could do. From there on it was just a sales pitch to buy a car at "liquidation pricing" and that if I referred anyone over there I'd get a $250 gift card. Once I informed her I wasn't interested, that I just wanted my prize, she said that the event had expired and I didn't win a thing. I left and returned a few minutes later to speak with a manager about it before I wrote a bad review. He was little help, and pointed out the asterisk and the fine print. I ended up wasting 2 hours of my afternoon to get the cheapest smart watch ever made. Beware of this dealership, they are far from honest people. read more
