Gregory's Coffee Midtown!
Norman R.

Cappuccino was rich, robust, and creamy with a perfect amount of foam. Their ambiance is some what quiet for a coffee shop, and the decor screams artistic expression! Must visit.

Nu Bru & wet cappuccino. Expedient & tasty.

FASTEST COFFEE SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I am not sure what sorcery was in the air but it was not seconds after I'd put my credit card back in my wallet after paying that my drinks were ready! I was a bit skeptical about the quality of my drink given how it seemed to have appeared out of thin air, but I was not disappointed! My Nu brew was satisfying--neither too sweet nor watery. My mom's wet cappuccino was even more flavorful and got the job done in delivering the needed caffeine boost. The reasonable price is an added plus! As a CA-native, I hope to see Gregory's make the move to the west coast one day!!

I stopped in here on my way to a meeting in Midtown. The line to order moved quickly, but there was a backlog waiting for their drinks to be made either from ordering in-store or from ordering ahead. There were a lot of people behind the counter, but it was pretty disorganized for the 9am morning rush. The interior was clean and there was a little seating area in the back. There is a public bathroom, code is 1999. There was a variety of drink and food options. They did have the ingredients and nutritional info listed next to them which is helpful. I got the Flower Power cold brew which is made with lavender, honey, and almond milk. The lavender flavor definitely had a chemical taste to it which was a let down. The "best" part is definitely the amount of coffee for the price. The large is 24oz and it only cost $5.85 ($6.37 after tax) which is noticeably less than what small coffee shops or chains like Starbucks cost, and they did not charge extra for almond milk which is a plus.

The website says they are open Saturday mornings. The sign on the door says they are open Saturday mornings. I am outside Saturday morning 10AM. You are closed. What could possibly be more disrespectful to customers than completely wasting their time. I'm going with a more reliable bean purveyor. Gregory - you are dead to me.

Is this a good spot to bring your laptop and get some work done?

I’d say it’s a GREAT spot. Free wifi and a good amount of seating. Not to mention incredible coffee + snacks and arguably the best team in coffee :)

The orange has a base made of chocolate Rice Krispies. All of them have more fruity filling than the mousse. They are very fragile. I recommend eating there if you can. Finding can be a challenge because it's busy and there aren't many seats. I got mine to go just to be taken to the park across the street . The mushroom kind are totally ruined. It has strawberriy jelly and it was a mess. The orange one was almost ruined too. The mango has some diced mangoes. I devoured three of them instantly. Definitely come back to try more.

Other reviews seems to be consistent and align with my experience - long lines move fast and the few tables in here fill up quickly. Personally, I thought the pastries were prettier than they were tasty, but I'm glad I got to try what I did. While Salswee is not on my list of top bakeries, I would be willing to come here again to try their more colorful items - things with mango or yuzu. Worth checking out if you're trying to tackle all the dessert spots in NYC!

This used to be my favorite Italian bakery. I haven't been to this bakery in years like ten years…read moresince I was a teenager. Today I decided to make a special trip to go here to grab a few goodies. I forgot how small the place was and how low the ceilings were. That wasn't an issue though. The place was nice and cakes were stacked neatly. What was surprising to me is that they don't have any cookies laid in the front display. It's all placed in the back almost hidden. I was deeply disappointed with their cookie selection. It was deeply surprising that they don't sell the butter cookies that had jam in the middle and dipped with chocolate on one side with sprinkles. I did ask the clerk and even showed him a pic of what I was looking for and he said they never sold them. They only had the linzer cookies and they didn't look so good. They also did not have the lobster tail. They did have the sfogliatelle which they also called a lobster tail. I thought they were not the same? Some bakeries sell both and they are definitely not the same. I did end up buying one of their sfogliatelle with cream and some rugelachs. The sfogliatelle was good but the rugelachs tasted slightly underbaked. It did taste fresh though unlike many I've had in other bakeries. However, for $28 per pound, I wouldn't get it again. For those not having lobster tail and not having the Italian cookies, I will have to give Veniero's a low rating. I never thought an Italian bakery would not carry staples. Very disappointed. I need to find another Italian bakery now.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I had never heard of the place before, but I was happy to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special. The store has two beautiful double doors that create such a grand entrance, and once inside, you immediately feel the energy. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite. I will definitely be back for more cookies. This was such a wonderful find, and I'm so happy my coworker introduced me to this place!

For such a big cookie the middle was cooked perfectly. Very chunky and sizable cookie too so I ate it throughout the day rather than one sitting!!
