I usually get coffee from other spots in the area, but when I stop by because of convenience, I'm always satisfied. The lines in the morning are annoying, but they have fresh baked pastries that are unique and I think that's what sets them apart. Definitely better than Starbucks. Their Aeropressed single origins are pretty good. The espresso here is very robust here but a charred note? I usually get a cortado and some sugar or a cappuccino (very smooth here). Their Walnut Banana Bread is really good, not too dense. They also have a giant Rice Krispie treat made with Chex, which is my guilty pleasure. They woo me now and again by dropping $2 in my LevelUp account every few months. There is a lot of space to sit/work with laptops, but they are usually taken. I have to say this place has some of the happiest workers I've ever encountered, they are always smiling and friendly to everyone! They're never impatient when waiting for your order and also offer suggestions if you're new. Lastly, the tall brunette lady that walks around (manager) is also very friendly and warm to everyone. I stopped Gregory's coffee to kill some time before my class started nearby. I found them on my LevelUp app and saw I had a $2 credit to use so that drew me in. Normally I would just grab a typical black ice coffee but I saw they had a 'honey badger' cold brew available; soy milk, cold brew, honey. This was a very interesting mixture because I would have never thought of putting honey in my coffee. The atmosphere of the interior is very modern/hipster-esq; one could easily see that from the brand's logo. I saw a lot of people just hanging out inside with their laptops open so it seems like a good environment to be studying or catching up on any type of work. read more

Pleasantly surprised. I thought as a mini-chain the quality of the coffee wouldn't be so high, but I go 1-2 times per day and I think I had an off coffee once. Haven't tried the espresso drinks too many times. I'm a bit skeptical that the baristas can pull fantastic shots of espresso (but I'm super picky and don't like the pulls at Blue Bottle, Four Barrel or Stumptown so not sure I'm the best judge). Staff is always friendly. If you don't use the LevelUp then you are literally throwing money away. They really should eliminate blender based drinks - lots of subway tile creates an overpowering vortex of sound. I'm number six! I think I don't know who Gregory is, but he brews a mean cup. Wifu and I strolled in on a chilly morning and enjoyed a warm cup. I got my usual latte and while it wasn't the best of all time, it was quite good. The shop was spacious, like a quirkier starbucks. Not the low budget hipster coffee shop that I usually find myself in, but not as corporate as starbucks or Peets. The staff are incredibly patient and nice! I went in when their electronic system happened to go down and some customers were absolutely horrid to the staff. Forced them to repour cups unnecessarily and berated them about their online orders. Despite the cruelty, the staff remained calm and found solutions without escalating the situations.
