I wanted to agree on price before arriving at the dealership. Kanoe Kamala got back to me quickly with a great price on the 18 Outback I was interested in! She kept in touch with us online and on the phone until we could finally make it in for a test drive. I never felt she was pushy or overbearing and liked her before even meeting her. We made an appointment and she was waiting for us, even though we we late! We were made comfortable and the office is very hospitable with coffees, teas and snacks readily available to help yourself. Our car was brought up in front for the test drive. She explained the many options and operations of all things and made the test drive fun and a great orientation to our new car! She was so lively and fun, yet professional and knowledgeable. We drove home a new 2018 Subaru Outback and we couldn't be more pleased with how we were treated and the entire buying experience. Service Department, Friday afternoon. You guys are beyond helpful. You saw the frustration on my face from having to drive from Gladstone Toyota all the way to Gresham Subaru. Long story short, I made an appointment with Toyota a week in advanced for some issues I was having with the car since that's where I bought my Subaru BRZ from. Toyota failed to tell me that the issues I was experiencing with my car "should be" covered under the manufacturer's warranty and directed me to Subaru. So I took time off of work for virtually nothing. Took it to the Gresham Subaru Department and Bryan was able to pull a technician away from his duties to ride along with me to replicate the issues my car was having; keep in mind, it's a Friday afternoon. Although I have to return for another visit, I was very satisfied with the services I was provided. Thank you for your honesty and for not wasting my time. 2. Sales Department: Same day, Friday evening. Who doesn't look at new cars when your car is getting serviced? Although I ended up walking away from an amazing deal, David and Rob were awesome. No they didn't tell me to write this review, I simply feel that I owe it to them. If you want absolutely NO PRESSURE, go see David. I was wishy washy on purchasing a new car and I was in no way rushed to make a decision. Rob willingly ran numbers back and forth right in front of me and in no way I felt pressured to purchase, i.e. what my payments would be if this/if that. This was the first time I felt good about leaving the dealership in the same car I came in with. No BS here, just 100% genuine humans who are there to help. I had the pleasure of working with Eric and Tracey. I came in to look at a subaru for myself and ended up trading in my car and drove home a subaru.. Tracey was super awesome to work with. He took us right to the car that I was looking at on the internet and then we went for a test drive. After the test drive we had to crunch numbers and while that whole process was going on, Tracey showed us his cars and told us how he came about them. He had some great stories that my wife and I enjoyed listening to. As we finally wrapped up the deal, Tracey helped me pair my phone with my car, showed me a few things on the car and then we were ready to leave. I went in for oil change and tire rotation. They said they rotated my tires and also changed my rear tail light. I got home and only because i have one tire that is different from the rest, i saw it was STILL ON the back ( never rotated them) a week later i saw my tail light was out, they never changed that either. I had to go back in for a 3rd time. I was wondering at this point if they had even changed my oil. Just be aware. read more

I was courtesously and promptly greeted by the service dept., then I was helped quickly. During the service, they asked if I wanted certain filters replaced and showed me which ones were definately more important to change and which ones I could wait on. I decided to just do it all, rather than have to wait. The labor was free. They have a really nice waiting area with tea, coffee and snacks, it's comfortable, bright and open, ...then my car was ready faster than I expected. Overall, I have been VERY disatisfied with negative experiences with every other Subaru dealership in Portland and Vancouver, but I am VERY satisfied with Gresham Subaru, they are not like any other dealerships I have encountered. It's a welcome surprise and change; they seem to be genuine, honest, sincere and down-to-earth. My experience is that they truly care about customer satisfaction. I purchased my 2010 Subaru there (used) and I appreciate that they call to let me know when service is due, I need those reminders. I have not had any problems with the car since I bought it, just normal oil and filter changes. I am happy with my car, although I liked the old Subaru designs much better because there were NO blindspots. I am also unhappy with my Subaru mileage because my 1990 Subaru got better mileage than the current models do - which is a huge disappointment. However, as a snow bird, I need a car that is great in the snow and you can't beat a Subaru, especially one like mine, a stick shift Outback. When I bought the car, they were respectful, they didn't BS, and the process went through very smoothly. This is the only dealership I have ever recommended in my life and I am nearly 60 years old! Went in last week walked around for a good 10 minutes before someone asked me if I had an questions I asked one or two told him what I needed he didn't seem very interested in helping me an just told me have a nice day like I was leaving or something so I just started walking back to my truck when another guy asked if I'd been helped he was willing to show me some cars I test drove one I really wanted so when we got back he took the information from my truck as I'd be trading it in he then gave that to his manager the manager took my truck for a spin leaving the lot while on his cell phone driving my truck then came right back an insulted me an my truck saying the motor was bad the transmission slipped an turbo was bad etc etc then said its only worth 4k my truck wholesales for 16,500 on kbb this place is a complete joke and I would not recommend any one to Gresham Subaru read more

Went in to have my AC unit looked at. The guy helping me was really unprofessional and rude. He treated me like an uneducated adolescent, but I suppose when you're 23 you aren't at the age where some adults treat you equally yet or something. Regardless of the crappy customer service I received, they quoted me around 800 dollars to fix one part of my AC system. I thought that seemed awfully high, so I went to a private mechanic and he noticed that my AC compressor wasn't working, which this dealer somehow failed to notice. He also looked into the job they quoted me and found that it should take about 2 hours less time than they quoted me. So if I would have fixed it there, I would have been paying for extra labor to fix a part that wouldn't have solved my issue to begin with. I came in looking for a Impreza hatchback and Rami greeted me kindly and showed me a brand new car on the lot. He started talking about it and mentioned that it was manual, and immediately I was hesitant because I had never driven manual before. He offered to teach me, and I thought he was joking at first, but sure enough he took me to an empty parking lot and was very patient with me. Of course I killed the car a few times, being and amateur, but he remained patient and calm the whole time which made me feel at ease and made the learning experience a hundred times easier. This was my very first time buying a car. I was expecting that pushy salesman personality that I've experienced elsewhere; not at Gresham Subaru. Everyone was really supportive and patient. I was apprehensive about such a large purchase but the relaxed atmosphere really helped me listen to my gut rather than a salesperson pressuring me into buying something I wasn't crazy about. Gabby was my salesperson; she was such a delight. Very nice and VERY patient. She even helped me research which car insurance would offer me the best deal, and call around to see if we could speak to anyone. David and Nick explained all the bells and whistles, even though they had closed and were all very tired. They didn't rush me as soon as the purchase was complete. I ended up staying an hour after closing working with Patrick in the finance department: he was very honest about which features and coverage I would need and which I could live without. By the time I was done test driving and falling in love with this gorgeous Crosstrek Subaru, the staff felt more like friends. Friendly, fast, honest place. I don't even have a Subaru, I had a mitsubishi at the time, but that didn't stop them from helping with whatever I needed. They are always so kind, and put the customers first by quickly asking what you need. I usually get my oil changes here and once I had a nail in my tire so it was very flat and the person there didn't hesitate to help me out! I would like to thank Khalil and Adam (he went to acupuncture school), 2 wonderful, good people. I bought a slightly used 2012 Subaru Legacy in 2013. It was evening when I got there, the salesman I talked to said he'll bring the car to the garage where I can inspect it. What he did was park it where the front of the car was well lit, but the back of the car was not. After the transaction, the salesman drove the Subaru while I drove my car back home. When I was driving behind the Subaru, I noticed that part of the bumper was damaged. When I told the salesman about it, he had a little smirk on his face and said I already bought the car and there's nothing that he can do. I was obviously distraught. He is one that gives a used car salesman a bad reputation. As I drove it the following couple of days, I also noticed that my right hip ached because of the narrower foot area on the right side. I brought the car back to the dealership and Adam saw me inside the car. He approached gently and kindly and asked how he may help me. He listened and helped, then asked Khalil to help me further. Khalil listened and had me try different Subarus and also brought the bumper situation to the general manager Nick Smit, who promptly approved to have the bumper repaired. As I drove the Subaru legacy I originally purchased, my right hip still ached for several more months, but the memories of the 2 beautiful and kind people of Khalil and Adam gave me comfort and appreciation. I still drive the Subaru and has moved to the coast, I drive it along the beach and am at peace I can navigate the sand because of the Subaru. Periodically, I still think and thank them to this day and hope this note of appreciation reaches them. I wish both of them well.
